Except for the disastrous decision of creatives to show Vandu's marriage to Ajit out of shame of society ( the actual motive was to show metamorphosis of Savita in the whole process), CVs have been somewhat liberal in their depiction of moral system of the society. Look Shravani's case for instance, she is not being shamed by society for being pregnant before marriage. Bhavan was eager to get Satish, her only son, married to Archana, a soon to be divorced woman. This goes to show some progressive attitude of CR, why overlook that?

showing varsha scared about the ashwin thing because of people's perceptions is to me a natural reaction. Like Kool and C I totally hate that reaction by people in our society. so I agree with their POV on that.

I do however, find it very strange that nobody has said anything about choo. I don't care how good Miss Shakkar's shakkar is. that is so not a normal reaction. Believe me in any chawl this person, archana and the deshmukh family would have been ridiculed daily. she would never have attended any public functions until the baby was born and her dad would have insisted that she had the abortion (I do not care how much he likes Manav) Now that is a normal reaction from upper and lower middle class families.

I guess the only reasons they got the reactions mixed up is because it will prolong this drama. the choo thing is so unrealistic I am still surprised everytime I see a scene of her with Manav and his family.

What happens to Ashwin and his married life, does not matter to people but concern for Varsha comes coz people love her as a person. Ajit and Ashwin can be perverts all they want in PR but then they are not respected characters like Manav and Vinod. If creatives show Ashwin scared then there is not much story we can get out of it coz Varsha who is newly married will certainly not embark on the mission of baring Ashwin's truth in front of others without any instigation from Ashwin when he is scared. As much as Varsha shud be scared ..........Ashwin shud be scared too as even HIS marraige is at stake. Varsha was UNMARRIED .....Ashwin was MARRIED .Showing Him NOT SCARED Is very much in keeping with The chauvinistic trend of this serial . Ali was right ........Why the hell shud Varsha be scared . I agree with u that they need SOME story and so ok , They r making a mountain out of a molehill .

I doubt that Varsha could have slept with Ashwin. The reason she left her house when Sulochna slapped her was coz Sulochana didn't trust Varsha and her own sanskaar in a way. Having brought up in such a family who give so much importance to proper conduct and values in life, I doubt Varsha would be able to disregard these values that were instil in her with years of her upbringing while she was experimenting with her new life away from family. Oh I agree with u alright . Varsha CANNOT sleep with Ashwin as a character . She is among the sanskaari ones ! It will be proved that she is a Virgin BY MANAV . I wont be surprised if Ashwin is made to confess and taped like Ajit was .So disgusting .

Well creatives are showing that a girl(Shravani) may have slept before marriage, even is pregnant before marriage yet she is accepted into a family and is getting married. There was not so much fuss shown in PR for Shravani being pregnant before marriage, even chawl people didn't do much fingure pointing. They show Shravani walking around with her head held high as if there was nothing wrong in what she did and people in PR are also not blaming her either.

Shravani ! The acceptance of Shravni as an unwed mom is after a tragedy ..........Sachins Death [ A male] and his waaris in her tummy [ Mostly a male ......if not a male , his NISHAANI , but again , HIS nishaani...........see the chauvinism] .Shravni has been entertained to GLORIFY MANAV . To rEMEMBER A DEAD SACHIN . UNWED moms whose bFS have Absconded are Hardl;y entertained in telly world in India . Besides see How cleverly their chauvinistic purpose is served .See The amount of Shravni Hate clubs opened in various forums . My dear no way is the issue of the unwed mom handled on a humanatarian level in the true sense .....the message ultimately is that SHRAVNI IS SHAMELESS. The adjective Shameless has become synonymous with Shravni due to the way the creatives cleverly handled her character . Negative characters like Rasika are used to make her shameless behaviour public . The creatives of PR are not broadminded .........Oh NO . They use the character exactly to suit so called Indian mentality . Same goes for Satish agreeing to marry a divorced Non consummated Archu . The stress on Non consummation element .although indirect and subtle is MOST forceful .I dont see a Progressive mind anywhere .This is the most Regressive serial where in both cases , The males , Satish and Manav are glorified at the expense of 'VIRGIN WOMEN" .

I am cooking with pressure cooker so I am stepping away every few minutes to chekc th forum. become a habit go. kids are busy with their toys.

blanched beans are side dish. just blanched quickly (full length without tails) and stir fried with pepper and olive oil. older boy and hubby likes it this way. I actually like the goan style i.e. finely chopped and boiled with shredded coconut and onion. Mommy style. Oh I miss mom.😊
