Hai Tanya di. Thanks a lot di for opening this post and provided a platform again to share our views on the epi and know other's view. Again happy to read all the views of those who would comment in kool di's commentary. And very happy to see Kool di's comment also.

Regarding Saturday's epi, I too was happy to see manav's cute smile and they way both did the kanyadhan and when manav look sad after that ritual is completed. And in the whole epi manav was with archu alone and standing beside her .ashwin???😡Don't know what he is up to. Varshu should be courageous as she was before and face him. Regarding precap,i too think manav will safeguard varsha .waiting for manav to emerge as hero.

@Tanya di: agreed totally with what you said about shravani. Well said.

@guari di: Your views about manav suffering on either ways and about archu was spot on👏👏.

"Marrying choo is the worst thing that can happen to this man and I certainly don't wish him to die a slow death...I would rather he rectifies his past mistakes by loving and caring for his wife more than anyone else in the world. Above everything I want Archu's happiness ,just see how she glowed when she was with him. I know she's never going to be this happy with anyone other than Manav". Well said di.👏👏 . And I too wish and hope he rectify his mistakes as you said.

@Kool Di: Hai di.Happy to see your comments.😊
Agreed with your thoughts on the way the serial creatives making male characters glorified. well stated di. Mostly(in many serials or movies) the way its portrayed is ,a guy will be praised for marrying a already married girl or a girl who has been betrayed in the affair she had already and in both cases she will be VIRGIN whereas in other scenario heroine will marry or fall in love with the widower (hero) and she is not praised there, he will be shown as mahaan with the thought of first wife(chauvinistic thought – doesn't the girl also as these attitudes?).
Thanks di for complimenting archu as more broad minded. Its true,she is more selfless considering other characters in PR.Happy here,Finally she is getting praise from you these days.😊

Hi sweet umayal
So nice to see u commenting here . Archu is the ONLY one in the full serial who never judged Shravni on moral grounds or otherwise , and had no vested interest like the DEshmukhs .The Deshmukhs did not judge her on moral grounds coz their blood was in her womb and their own son was at fault ..Sachin .Had it been sum other girl , this same Savira wud have crtiticised her as characterless
But Archna 's support of Shravni ...even understanding her jealousies as a woman and not minding her hormonal fits is purely due to a very broad mind and large heart .

Just imagine a virgin Vandu had to marry a monster just to save her family from the taunts. And Shravani is going to functions in her seventh month. But you know Ekta has always showed the unwed mother in the shows supported by her family.There was Monalika fron KGGK who slept with her BIL and had a son and her whole family was shown to take care of her.And she was not the only one of Ekta's numerous unwed mother characters.

@Kool

Losing virginity before marriage( both for a girl or boy) is associated with loose character in our society. First preference for any parent, whether a boy or girl's parent, is to find a virgin bride/groom for their children, so naturally its a factor in evaluating bride/groom in serials. Sulochana didn't want to send Archana to Manav's house after her marriage yet upon seeing a friends divorced niece getting married to an older man who already had kids, she got disturbed and didn't want Archana to have same fate even though here the groom was a widower not a characterless man.

When Satish told Bhavna that he doesn't care about Varsha's past, Bhavna was relieved and she smiled and complimented Satish that she had expected this answer from him. It certainly shows she is not narrow minded. Bhavna was used by creative to create a scene at Varsha's engagement just as you say Shravani is being used to glorify the weak lead characters in the show. Behaviour of Bhavna on Varsha's engagement was so not in sync with her character. After that we see Bhavna greeting Savita, complimenting her choice in saree for Archana and being her normal self.

Savita , who gave solid support to an unwed mom was again , hardly a broad minded , progressive lady . Her motives were personal ......Grief over sons death , The want for his last nishaani , greed for Girish's riches . Hence the support to the unwed mom and the blatant double standards of berating Archu who inspite of marraige was a virgin and the welcome of Shravni who inspite of being unwed was a mother to be .

Savita is not doing a favour to Shravani by accepting her, they (Deshmukhs) are trying to pay for their son's mistake. Old Savita ( before Vandu's marriage) was a sly, superficial and a corrupt character. By people in PR, I meant, the people other than Deshmukh like the chawl people, Karanjkar family etc. Sulochana and Manohar are so nice to Shravani inspite of knowing that she is the reason their daughter will hv to divorce Manav.
