i agree his reaction in the jail was very realistic. i dont know but maybe Vandu, his sister, being the bahu of that house made the difference this time (but its still no excuse). Manav is very confused these days u know CVs r just doing this to bring savita nd Archana closer. but they cant see that they r destroying other relations.

i still hav to watch today's episode.

Wud he have wished this life on his sister Vandu if she had been widowed and remarried for 'COMPROMISE" ? ; This is NOT fair to any woman . Archna had filed for divorce so she is in a way prepared for no marital happiness in her relationship status now But Shravni ? She had been promised something and she is getting NOTHING . All that she constantly gets is cold iceberg like behaviour from Manav whenever she tries to please him , and stealthy looks between him and his soon to be ex wife that speaks of something else , and then both of them gang up on her and tell her GO Go sleep inside , as if she is a bloody inconvenience . A bit thick , what , for any woman to bear ? All the time this wud to be ex wife is there in the background , rushing to do things for Manav , protecting him , fast becoming a family favorite and never really giving her a chance . . I am not defending Shravni here ....I am merely telling a woman's point of view . Both Archu and Shravni r equally shameless to take this treatment from a man . Love has made them shameless . Archu doesnt mind ay amount of torture just to be near him and care for him , Shravni doesnt mind the fact that he is not interested in her as a man . . And The man , Manav , is the most to be blamed as he made promises he is fast finding he CANNOT deliver , and has failed to be foresighted and visualize ENOUGH .

Why did the wonderful CRs had to come up with this brilliant idea of shravani's pregnancy is beyond me...they ruined some beautiful characters just to clear up the mess

Kool, i want to answer ur question that y did he marry her. he proposed when her dad was going to KILL a child!! he proposed nd left the decision on her. she knew that Manav loved Archana a lot, she knew this was just a compromise, from both sides at that time. this relation was formed only for the bacha from Manav nd Shravani's side!

Whatever u hav written about compromise, yes, Manav wud do that! thats how his married life with Shravani wud b. he is that kind of a guy. he didnt get into this relation to move on. he only got into this relation to save the child nd he thought that he was safe marrying shravani since she loves someone else (nd she wont jump on him or demand anything.poor innocent guy!) nd he can just live his life dreaming about Archana nd do nothing with shravani. of course he wud provide her with everything but not everything that a husband provides, he wud everything for insaaniyat. shravani knew him since childhood. she knows him pretty well. she still fell in love. she came out of the compromise zone. archana came out of the divorce zone too. all of his plans failed. he had planned that archana wud marry satish nd live happily ever after nd he wud live peacefully knowing that she is happy nd he wud keep his distance with shravani forever nd she wil keep her distance too. that was his plan. but it got ruined. archana came bak nd shravani fell in love with him. now his feelings for archana r even more stronger. he can never ever even think about his name attached with shravani. nd the way she is acting, its just driving him away. maybe later he wud hav fallen in love with her.

You know , even I thought of that . I was thinking that they should have sent manav away somewhere ....that would have been so much better .

Sid then thats NOT FAIR . Not RIGHT either .Marraige is no joke .Save the child yes , then what ??? There is a life AFTER that point that one has to visualise too and one must be prepared to deliver if need arises . Otherwise even the child will be exposed to very unhealthy relationship between parents ....a passionless , insipid relationship in which Dad buries himself in work and Mom constantly cries about Dads dead bro who was her first boyfriend , fretting and fuming that Dad just never grew interested in her as a man .Just see how that sounds and looks .

He is a 30 yr old youth, the age when maturity hasn't set in completely and the blood still boils with rage. He should have been absolutely set off like a volcano. This is how every son will behave. Remember how Manav broke his seven vows of marriage after watching his mother's torture in jail? This is how every son will behave. It was realistic, very very realistic- to see anger clouding all other feelings at that time. But what they have shown today is not only unrealistic, but disgusting as well.

Men themselves say that if they have to choose btw spouse and mom, the first spontaneous decision will be to go with Mom.

The creatives may have glorified Archu, but the mother-son relationship went to shreds today... very very disgusting.

Probably going to get into trouble for saying this. I was just thinking, you are all correct in that it is uncharacteristic for any child (and especially a son like Manav who will do anything for his mom) to be quiet while she is disgraced in public and Kaka's actions were unexplanable.

However, if you look at it from an "dramatic effect" perspective, doesn;t it seem that such a reprimand from another woman might seem more demeaning to a person like Rasika as opposed to any kind of reprimand from a man. if a man (especially) of manav's age was seen screaming at a woman of Rasika's age his actions could be perceived as bullying by other women and may actually draw sympathy for rasika from misguided society women like Bhavana. I think the creatives wanted to shame her in front of her own people and a reprimand from someone like archana (who is well-behaved girl from a sanskari family) is perceived as being more degrading for Rasika than anything that Manav (a lowly educated supposedly uncultured mechanic ) might have said.

Just a thought. I am not trying to defend Manav's silence but rather explain the CV's thought process.
