Kool: on the subject of the other guy, your favourite, I'm reminded of all those wonderful Ajit jokes of the '90s... remember.... "Sari duniya mujhe LOIN ke naam se jaanti hai!" And now they have this Gabbar Singh music for him too. I always think of him as Gabbar the Loin.

@ Fifi, and those too young to remember Ajit jokes:

There was this actor called Ajit who started out in the 50s or so wanting to be a Hindi film hero. He never made it as a hero but came to some prominence eventually in the 70s as a villain, usually a smuggler, drug runner, rapist, or otherwise all-round bad guy. He was given these dialogues full of evil intent which may -possibly ! - have struck dread in certain gentle hearts at the time, but resuscitated in the retro 90s became improbably and wonderfully hilarious. Of course all sorts of lines were later ascribed to him that he never actually said on screen or of it, but the most famous, his "signature" line, which he did actually say in character, was this threat where he mispronounced LION as LOIN (as do many people in certain parts of the country!). So the big Ajit line is "Sari duniya mujhe LOIN ke naam se jaanti hai", i.e. literally "The whole world knows me by the name of LOIN." And Gabbar Singh was the villain of Sholay, the biggest blockbuster of the 70s, almost of all time, if other (infinitely lesser) films had not had more global publicity and box-office savvy since. (Yes, people, I am talking about DDLJ, which really DOES NOT compare for sheer class.)

And as far as Primi Minister Archu's slap goes , The Evil Blue Tiger will only cackle in a deep throated way and comment that never had he felt so physically aroused ..........that her slaps , like the touch of bloody red hibiscus flowers tickled him in a way no other women did { EVen the ones in Bangok}.

C I laugh even today when i see Zanjeer and Ajit as Teja and Mona darling [ Bindu , the sexiest who beats the girls who reveal so much today and yet leave us unimpressed !]
