agree with you C and GM. evil needs to be eliminated not controlled. because it can only be controlled for so long. ajit for example was controlled when archu had threatened to send him in jail now he's back with a bang. just like ajit savita will be controlled for so long but will be back to create bigger problems. the monster will prey on archu. in order to get ride of problems one needs to reform the person its not going to happen. and this goes for all characters including manav and archana

It was long overdue and whenever we look forward to see any thing interesting , Archana comes and diffuses it . On the engagement day she did the same thing . She shields evil unknowingly by her good samaritan acts .
Complaint against Ajit.......Dont do it.
Taunting about engagemennt ...dont do it
Taunting about pregnancy inspite of Shravani telling her to shut up.........Dont do it .
It is a bit too much for us to digest guys . At least me . If Shravani told her to shut up and mind her own business She should respect it and DO just that . But wait , she did this not for Shravni but to save MANAV the lallu from humiliation , got it , got it ! Ahhhh ! I think the chawl people should construct a pedestal in the entrance of the chawl and install Archana the Devi's statuette there and worship it daily after she is thrown out when this last month expires .

i really enjoyed reading your post but i must say the statement above is my favorite part.you're absolutely right, i was furious to see her again spoil the scene.she needs to stop talking when she doesn't have to, and rather speak when she must do so.and for whom?Shravani?NO, she told you to go to hell with your help, she has your husband now, she doesn't care about what people will say (hahaha when will we start Shravani's comedy club, that girl is nuts, wait no, PRs comedy club would be better). For Manav?aree meri maa, Manav was there when Shravani said that she wants the WHOLE WORLD to know about her pregnancy, did he say something?nahin na, to just back off darling and let the viewers have at least some satisfaction by seeing Savita and Manav's pregnant gopi being blasted.i love Archu, i really do but come on...
thank God we saw something different with Varish during their holi celebration....

about Shravani's guts, i like the fact that she is her own number one priority, but my problem is that in the process she becomes blind and doesn't see that with that kind of behavior she is going nowhere.but it's good since i want Arman's reunion, so way to go Churail, don't stop !

@ Kool,
I see where you're coming from too; we'll just have to agree to differ. Someone who goes for what she wants at others' expense holds no interest for me both in moral and in narrative terms. I don't think Shravani is a "bad" person however, just not someone who's selfcentered behaviour should be held up as the right way to live. In this respect Varsha is more appealing because at least since the learning experience with Ashwin she seems to combine a healthy interest in pursuing her own well being with a mature, ethical and (all-importantly) realistic concern for what becomes of others too in the process. Have gone on for much too long today; you know I don't have your tireless appetite for debate. 😊

We r not differing then coz these r precisely my views too . I too do not see Shravni as some role model but I do not see her as 'bad ' or 'evil ' either .
My preference as a role model upto this point in the serial is Varsha who is honest , has courage and who does not stand for abuse . She is loyal to her family too . She did not jump to marry Satish coz she was totally burnt out with her experience of Ashwin . I found that realistic . I like human characters albeit with flaws .
C my appetite for tireless debate is perhaps coz Im not as busy as you are .😊

Wow koolsadhu and commentator, it was a very nice debate between both of you, and I agree with both of your points to different extents.
Reminded me of old days when I used to write long long posts debating. And now no time + interest is running out fast.
Even I don't like Shravani for the reason that she is really insensitive and did not care even for a bit for her future husband's feelings when she very well knew he was going through engagement and sindoor only coz of her Dad pressurizing him, he hadn't forgotten Archana AT ALL. She could have easily told her Dad to back off saying I trust Manav, she had done it before. That put me off totally against her. She doesn't hesitate giving pain to the person who is doing so much for her coz of her own possessiveness and 'love'.

But then nicki neither does Manav hesitate to give the person he loves pain . See how he is ignoring Archna inspite of her telling him I cannot forget u . It is perhaps in a different way but there it is .
Chalo , I think Ill retire to bed .

Manav ke case mein to its like he is helpless or something, he cannot show his feelings for Archu, he cannot be weak in front of her, he cannot run away from his word. Here there is more pity than anger. Plus we know he is suffering as well. He is not giving her pain for his own happiness
but Kools.. what excuse does Shravani have for not speaking up for Manav that day. No excuse. Manav wouldn't have run away if she hadn't got engaged that day. It was emotional suicide for Manav and she knew it. At that point she was the only one who could have said something since Manav was under the scanner then and any protest from his part would have been looked upon as affection/hesitation.
However here I am not saying Manav is not guilty. He is. He too thought of other things like 'I have to prove my commitment, and I have to make Archana hate me' but forgot the one simple thing that Archana loved him and it was too extreme a step tp be taken at the point when she was so emotionally vulnerable. I hated him for being insensitive here and I hate Shravani for the same reason above.

Hey Kool:

About calling Shravanin gutsy - I have my reservations. To me real guts would be to acknowlege what Archana and Manav mean to each other and get out of their way. And say that to Sav Aai's face. Then move on to give birth and raise the child as a single mother. She is firing a gun but she is using Manav's shoulder to do that.

About her loving Manav now inspite of the fact that she is carrying Sachin's child. If, for instance, Manav backs out now and Ajit comes to her resuce, she will promptly fall in love with him. To me, this girl is not emotionally stable.

Another unstable person seems to be Bhavna. Wonder what her reaction will be when she finds out the her laadla Ajit kidnapped Vandu? Will she still continue rooting for him?

Archana I cannot relate too. Over doses of mahaanta do not impress me at all. However, as a woman, I would now like to see her start detaching herself emotionally from Manav. Go back to work during the day and also continue her studies at the night school. Let Sav Aai and Vandu do all the housework, pamper Shravani and deal with the chawl people and other rishtedaars.

I would give a party the day this happens ...but I know it won't ...😭
