Just finished watching, and it was awesome! The show overall was great. In my eyes it was less of an award show and more of a morale booster. Almost everyone got an award, almost everyone got to perform, it was like ZeeTv wanted to give them a nice evening off. I think that Parag/Vinod and Sukirti/Siddeshwari really embodied that spirit, as neither of them got to perfrom nor did they really win any awards for themselves, but they were having fun and cheering for everyone.

Now for the important part: OMG, Sushant and Ankita!!!!!!! They were so cute!

Although they reused the same four shots (from different angles) of them sitting in the audience again and again, atleast they showed them! At all of the other award shows we didn't even get to see Sushant or Ankita except for their performances and the five second show clip for Sushant's Best Actor nominations.

Their performance was great! I had hoped for more close-ups of some of the special moments, but it was still adorable. Special mention to two parts: 1) When Sushant stood up all dramatically from in between all of those girls in the beginning... 😍. 2) The very end when Sushant and Ankita were all close and smiling and then he picked her up. (Looks like all that puranpoli she's been feeding him made him quite strong, he picked her up so many times.)

They looked so nervous when the Best Jodi award was called out. If you look closely Sushant put his hand on Ankita's upper arm when they stood up as if he was going to hug her (or atleast that's what I would like to think), but then Sachin/Raj launched himself at Sushant out of nowhere. 😆 Well atleast Sushant took Ankita by hand upto the stage. They looked so surprised up there. After losing all the other awards I guess they weren't expecting to win the biggest one.

I liked it overall, quite enjoyable and no dragging/excessive drama. I also appreciated that the focus was on the ZeeTv stars rather than any special guest that the sponsor wanted to suck up to.

Now that this is over we're back to Pavitra Rishta with Pyasi Atma Shravani and Ajit.
