Frankly speaking, I don't understand what everyone expects from Manav! When he takes Archana's side or does anything that is legally and morally her right... (like putting sindoor in her maang), he is accused of being chauvinistic and treating women like robots and not staying committed to shravani. And when he tries to stay committed to Shravani (like today when everyone said sit in the pooja with Archu without thinking that just a few days ago he had got engaged to Shravani IN FRONT OF ARCHU and the whole chawl knows it) everyone gets angry at him!

I'm not really offended by his behavior today. He got engaged to Shravani in front of everyone.. so he made the decent decision by saying we should wait for Shravani, on the other hand I felt angry at Savita and others, what the hell is this? One day she decides that the engagement will take place in front of Archana, the other day she says sit in the puja. And no one in the house protests, neither for the engagement and nor for making Archu sit in the puja. Of course Archu too doesn't say anything and sits quietly. Now what will chawl people say- see this characterless man.. one day he gets engaged to shravani, next day sitting with his wife in pooja.

Please do not think that I want to say that Shravani deserved to sit there and do the puja with Manav. NOT AT ALL!!! Archu is his wife and has every right to sit with him in the pooja. But I cannot understand why everyone is being angry with Manav from both sides. If he favours Archana who is his wife and deserves anything he does for her, he is called chauvinistic and being wishy washy and playing with the lives of two women. When he stays committed to Shravani, people get angry at him...

Please do not think that I am defending Manav ... I'm not. He is wrong. It would have been better if he had said that I can't sit in the pooja neither with Archana nor Shravani and walked out

Archu was not sitting for Manav at all.

She was the first person to make the manat so itwas her duty to see it through . The reason for the mannt was baba who came back to her alive .

She did the right thing by completing the Manat .

Manav and his fiance wanted so much to sit with each other , I am sure they will get other chances ...😆

For now Archu did him a favour by keeping a manat for hsi dad and completing it as well......

As for Manav getting told off by everyone . Well that is the price he will have to pay for constantly pursuing Shravani and standing by a very very wrong cause .

he is commiting a sin by hurting his wife and doing injustice to her . How can people like him any more after the way he is behaving ...

exactly wld hve liked Manav to say this very words....this atleast wld hve been practical nd sensible nd by saying this the whole unnecessary drama of 'who will sit beside Manav in the puja' cld hve been avoided also Archu wld not hve been humiliated in front of her parents by Savita

Manav is digging a big hole for himself . He is getting himself more and more commited to Shravani and he is thinking about another woman constantly when he is alone ..

he even put sindoor on her when he was under no pressure to do so , He only did it because from his heart he only considers Archana his wife .

Then why is he not trying to take care of her just this little bit . He should not have said this in front of her parents ' Wait for Shravani ' .

I really really hope Archana pushes him nice and hard if he tries to hug her next time ...

my only fear is hope on monday's ep Savita doesn't pull Archu frm the puja midway.....it wld be utterly humiliating nd degrading for a married woman......since Archu already sat fr the puja she shld be allowed to complete it nd if Savita plays any nasty trick Manav nd only Manav (not baba) shld stop Savita frm doing such a thing.

He could have said that aai and baba should sit in the puja.The fact manav is leeting everybody decide his actions is irritating .why can't he take a decision and say this puja is for my dad and My mom and dad will sit in it.He is acting like a five year old boy.

Exactly Tasnime... I dont blame anyone who is angry with Manav, be angry with him... even I'm angry, but why accuse him from both sides.

Like I was angry with him yesterday that he said ok to do the puja with shravani coz shravani is not married to him and had no right to do the puja with him... he should have pointed it out to his Mom, but I'm happy that he did not say no Archu will do the puja with me since she is my wife. If he had said so, I would have got in and given him a slap saying what wife... you got engaged in front of her... ab yaad aa raha hai that she is your wife?

Shravani has no right to do the puja with him, agreed. But Manav also has no right to make Archu sit with him and do the puja with him since he got engaged in front of her. He cannot do kabhi Archu kabhi shravani according to his whims and fancies. Today when everyone said shamelessly that Archu you do the pooja (despite getting Manav engaged to shravani in front of everyone) he clearly said we better wait for Shravani. I was happy that he did not use Archu like tissue paper unlike his aai and gave respect to her.

Unfortunately it seems everyone is thinking only about the romantic aspect as of now.

Tanya Di... you are saying that he should not have protested when his aai said sit with Archu in the pooja????

she was using Archu like tissue paper. When she wanted she said Manav will sit with shravani. When shravani is not available she says, okay Archu you can sit... so basically Archu gets the crumbs...and what about her self respect.

If Manav had agreed silently, then I would have been angry and said, there is no difference btw you and your Aai. Both of you are hypocrites.

The truth is Manav didn't do that. He has no right to say to Archu to sit with him in the pooja after getting engaged to Shravani in front of her. If he had done so, he would have been a chauvinist no. 1. An MCP! If he had said loudly no, I won't sit with Archu, it would have been far more humiliating. So he said the decent thing- let's wait for Shravani.
