Agree y is he doing this??? Ok he is in bad shape but then y force wedding with Manav.. He should ahve thought of him before talking with Sav... He knew Manav would never say no then too he asked for it... He knew Manav is selfless n would ruin his life readily then y just force person to commit such act!!!!!

And Savita... gosh.. is she really Manav's step mom or something... I was expecting an emotional scene in which she wud say that she is proud of him.. he has made such a sacrifice and blah blah...but the way she smiled at Manav and said she is proud of him after he said yes and silenced everybody, it was like a butcher is trying to assure the lamb that there are better days ahead and he is proud of the lamb for being so fat and healthy.. so that it can be killed...!! What is worse... she actually expects Manav to take care of the child cos it is Sachin's mistake and he being his brother is responsible for his actions... Arey!! God... please save my poor Manav... everyone takes advantage of his goodness!!! Please bring Archu back into his life soon!! He will pretend to be angry, but it will be a solace to him to know that she is near and in front of his eyes. He has completely lost hope, feels that his life is over cos there is no love in his life... he desperately needs some love from Archu... he needs to be pampered and hugged and cared for and made to feel special... SOS.. Archu!!!

@swetha : I'm not sure.. the Zee tv site mentions that she is his stepmom but such a reference has never been shown in the serial...i've been watching the serial since the first episode. In the original series too the character of Savita was Manav's step Mom.

girishji is worried about his daughter and about his status, reputation also : an important businessman with an unmarried pregnant daughter. that's why for him it's not necessary to ask Shrav whether she wants to marry Manav or not.and of course Manav is so nice that he will accept, uff tak nahin karega ! and i wouldn't be surprised if Girishji says that Manav owns him this since he helped him so much so far!

Niki do you really think he still loves her and wants to even look at her . I would love to believe that her presence still brings him comfort but I don't think it does.

It may not look like right now Archana being in front of him does anything for him, but I think as time passes and they clear their misunderstanding, Manav will find solace in Archana. Nikita, I couldn't have described better it myself.
Remember what Manav said shortly after Archana left the house. "For awhile I had learned to live for myself, but that reason went away, so now I realized I just have to live for my family. " Well, something close to that, I think that that's all that Manav is doing right now, living for his mom and taking care of his brother's child.
I think Manav's dad is the only one who looks out for Manav and his life. Therefore I guess I can't blame Girishji for doing the same for Shravani, I'm sure if he had his way, he would have had Shravani get an abortion and move far away to forget everything. He's just doing the best he can with what his daughter is allowing him to do. He's right who else would actually give any type of love to Sachin's kid, besides Sachin's own family?

@Tanyaz: I have no doubts Manav still loves Archana.. yesterday's episode made it evident.. when his dad said I know you still love Archana, he didn't shout, he didn't protest... he quietly said that the love of my life has gone from my life now and so I don't have a life... he considers his life as incomplete and empty without her...he is very angry and more than that he is disappointed with Archana's behavior towards his family and him... but he still loves her.. that is why he even accepted that this is a compromise but at least it will help someone else.

Shravani is not ready to abort and any normal guy wud not
like to marry a girl who is pragnant and agree that girishjee is rich, but not that much, i think he belongs to upper middle class.....
So, perhaps he chose manav as he knows him from his childhood...
Dont think i am supporting girish jee, no not at all........
