yes Reyansh is a jerk...he wouldn’t give up his freedom so he abandoned his pregnant girlfriend and child who suffered for 8 years in an orphanage. But Pranati was going to bring up her child as a single mother. I would have preferred if Pranati was shown as a strong single mother who continued her education and didn’t bother about society and raised her child on her own...like Preeti Zinta did in kya kehna. So now neither reyansh nor Pranati can be pardoned because they were living their comfortable lives while their child was suffering terrible abuse in an orphanage. Ekta could have written a more modern story that fits in with 2020. Lots of women now choose to be single mothers if the fathers are jerks and they make a success of it. And these strong single mothers don’t take the jerks who abandon them back or cry for them for years ..they move on..and if they find Better men ..then they marry them.. but here pranati is still pining for the man who abandoned her ..she should have forgotten him like yesterday’s stale bread and moved on and not let one jerk disillusion her. And she has a wonderful man who has accepted her with her past but she’ll still leave him and go off with the jerk..because it’s an itv show. If it was real life ...the women would have chosen the better man not the one who abandoned them. It would be great if Ekta would show a modern take ...but I’ve no expectations ...🤦🏽♀️..
Why is Pranati being held responsible for her daughter living in orphanage? It should be Reyansh who did not took his responsibilities and Pranati's mother who took the new born away when Pranati was unconscious. It is not like Pranati was enjoying life after sending her daughter away when the truth is she doesn't even know her daughter is alive.
Rest of it you said I agree with it. And also it would have been good if the story is like Preeti Zinda's movie. Pranati should teach Reyansh lesson and choose a nice guy. But sadly we cannot expect it from ITV.
