Can Ekta comes with new concept ? - Page 3

This serial is a concoction of August Rush, Kya Kehna and a dozen other Bollywood movies. A very ghissa pita concept with below average execution, to be honest. This is in fact, in my opinion, one of Ekta's myriad lesser budget projects. Bcoz in her big budget ventures like Kasauti or Jodha Akbar, she tends to promote aggressively.

As for the story, those of us who have grown up watching EK serials know how it will shape up. 😆There will be drama. Then melodrama. Then hyper melodrama. Pranati will choose her fiance over Reyansh Kya-Kehna style. That will leave Reyansh either heartbroken or he will turn into the aggressive version of Omkara of Dil Bole Oberoi.

This will, of course, upset the fans who have begun watching this show for Kunal and Aneri. So, CVs will introduce a maha "twist" and the fiance will magically turn out to be the villain and the main mastermind, very similar to what happened to Prithvi in Kaisa Yeh Pyaar Hain. And Reyansh and Pranati will get back together.

Now, if the TRPs are still steady till that point, the show will go on. Pranati's rich in-laws would then start mistreating their middle-class bahu. And then drama and melodrama will start all over again.

I'll be very happy if my predictions are wrong, but Ekta Kapoor's stories are all the same more or less. So, it is better to not keep our hopes high.

People are mostly here bcoz of Kunal and Aneri (and maybe Jugnu too). Some of us are here to satiate our unfulfilled desire of seeing Pari and Ruhaan (Silsila 2) together. 😆 That's all that is there to the show as of now.

I don't much about Ekta show. And I watch this online. It seems like Ekta next attempt at YHM. Late night show, unwed mother, blah, blah. Not sure how YHC is faring. But Ekta seems to be trying tk emulate her YHM concept in most of the shows. Like the Sony one with Mona and others which I can't be bothered to remember. And I'm hoping I am tight. KZK2 had nice Prerna-Bajaj chemistry but is an absolute nightmare.

Ekta has always done that. Once a concept in her show becomes a hit, she repeats it in almost every two or three years with fresh faces.

Her truly original series were Hum Paanch, Kyunki-Kahaani (both were similar), Kasauti and Kahiin Kissi Roz. And maybe, Kasamh Se (older man, younger girl love story) and Jodha Akbar. Rest are mostly reboots and repackaging of the last 5.

Bepanhah Pyaar (that Pearl Puri show) was a Kahiin Kissi Roz Part 2 with fresh faces. They even brought Sudha Chandran back to play a similar vamp.

Bade Achhe Lagte Hain was a better written and more realistic version of Kasamh Se.

Chandra Nandini was a repackaged edition of Jodha Akbar set in a different time in history with different historical characters.

And so on...

Pavitra Bhagya is also a concoction of many subplots she had shown in her previous shows. So, the stories would be more or less predictable.

bade ache was different from kasam se.it was based on a play.but beytab dil ki tamanna was similar to kasam se.kasturi was the mix of kyph kzk n kth. kdb was similar to kth for a long time. now yhc is similar to kdb.

I completely agree. That being said YHM had a good run before the whole nepotism debacle and accusations. I'm hoping things are better here. So far no one seems to be connected to the backstage crew. And no one seems dramatic. So yeah, it should go well. But then I don't know the cast. Everyone seems sane in the beginning. I feel like Ekta has picked a better cast here and storyline seems similar. So it could be her next hit show given how the audience takes it. Fingers crossed. And once the slot changes, we run. 😆

Fine but kuch naya chahiye as a viewer I won't go for the serial then !

Ek bacha kitni badi responsibility hoti hai aur protection aaj ke 10 th class ke bachho ko akal hoti hai. ..This is too old concept

Dude. Protection is not 100%. 😆 It never has been. And this isn't the right space or time for pro-life ya pro-choice discussion. Concepts are taken from real life instances na, unless its something absurd like Naagin but woh bhi would have come from someone's imagination / some mythology.

We don't talk about those things now. But it changed after slot change and became a launching ground for everyone and their relatives among other dire issues. This show seems to be going too fast for my liking. Gives me YHM vibes. 😭 Maybe coz its late night?
