This sounds like a good idea, or why not use the 'internet phone' to get in touch with Ashok?

He's a cop, so why not use his resources.

Yes dont know how mini is going to take it. She is not coming back for full 5 years so im not sure if this will cause a permanent wedge between them

@bold that's exactly what I was thinking too. Ashok's approach may or may not have been right but now Minnie is even more messed up than before.

After my divorce I decided not to live with my parents because I had lost faith in them and went far far away. It's not like I stopped talking to them or caring about them, or that I didn't keep in touch but they aren't the people I would go to if I am in trouble or want to talk about my feelings.

Something broke inside me and no matter how much time has passed since then, my relationship with my parents will never be the same.

And you are right everyone was busy with babita. Making babita move on, empowering babita, her feelings her hurt. no one saw mini because she also made it only about babita. She was selfless . And generally it is the selfless people who no one understands, their pain goes unnoticed mostly.

In most divorce cases of abandonment children do think why the other parent has never thought of them even once. And she has a right to be in touch with ashok if she wants. She dosent need to break all contact with him to prove to babita that she supports and loves her

@bold this is exactly what NB was saying a while ago. She is such a wise woman, she spotted this early on.

I am also glad that he finally realized how much Minnie had been hiding. At times I feel deep down he always knew but he tried to make up for that gap unwittingly, that wish to give her the fatherly affection she never got.

Yes, he blames himself but I would still say he has done far more for Minnie than anyone has. I am sure if they'd had more time together he would have eventually gotten Minnie to open up, especially after the honeymoon period when the truth of this marriage opened his eyes.

I think after this, HS and Minnie are likely to keep in touch. I loved it when Minnie directly asked him how come he didn't get how she had been feeling about Ashok considering he had been through the same pain with his own father. That was just ❤️

Also loved the way HS said he hated his father but could not stand anyone else say something bad about him... Sigh... these two.

I really loved this episode. Finally everything is out in the open.

Babita will never get it. Her blank face said it all. For all her talk about Minnie being her jaan and all, she sure didn't demonstrate any of it today.

I know when angered, people say a lot of things but usually these things have some sort of foundation. Whether it's they're seeds of doubts, or own's beliefs, they're sourced from something. Today, Babita just spouted whatever nonsense Saroj told her and threw it onto Minnie. She did the same thing with the Meeta comparison too. Kammo ne isse keh diya aur Babita ne Minnie. Yeh bhi ni socha ki yeh baat kitni gandi aur galat hai.

I don't care what anyone thinks, HS is and will always be Minnie's one true parent. Uska aur koi ni hai. <3

Minnie calling HS out was touching. If she had gotten the chance to voice out her feelings about the CD, I'm sure she would have done it the same way.

Like HS, Minnie has been yearning for a father. Someone who will be there to look out for her, and care for her. They both know that the fathers they have aren't good people, but they can't just go out and buy a new one. They have to make do with what they have and that wish of their fathers being different, being something more is incredibly powerful.

It's fine if she lashes out at HS - he's her father, he will understand her. She needs to let it all out and then feel lighter before she goes. It's not good for her to be traveling alone in this state.

Just thinking about how Minnie will be living alone in Delhi or Chandigarh before she gets her visa, and not her family is... I had thought maybe she'll stay at Naeem Bi's but she's moving straight out of the city.
