She is coming off as clingy. Also HS kinda felt that babita want to come so that he won't cheat on her.

If I were a man, and my wife who previously had a successful business, decides to become housewife because she thinks that I should be her provider cause I'm a man and she doesn't like working anymore cause I earn enough and wants my love all the time (even though I wouldn't be home all the time) I would be miffed too.

I don't get how Babita is so cavalier about the financial future of, if not her, at least of Minnie.

She gave away her jewelry to Khuranas in fit of pique. THen she declined to accept alimony and child support. Now she is signing off Minnie's maternal grandparents home and selling of her business.

Babita's dead parents were more forward-thinking than her. They at least arranged for her financial well being even though she was married off before they passed away.

If HS doesn't want to take Babes, why not show a proper reason? Babes isn't wrong for asking to go along. Is it because it's a village so there'll be lack of proper accommodation or amenities?

If so, can't HS speak with her about the actual reason calmly? He knows she thinks Ashok loved her and still betrayed her. Whether he believes it or not, it's Babita's narrative and she believes it.

He should understand her insecurity and even if she can't go with him, he must try to relieve her worries and speak with her about this.

Why is Minnie not understanding? Isn't she the one who said some part of the blame falls on Babes for not asking Ashok to take her along? Toh now she is. Give Babes a realistic reason and try to make her understand if it isn't feasible...

Babita wanting to go with HS is okay but she is planning to all stay together in a happy family unit in the remote village where HS will be psoted. No concern about Minnie's education? She is just supposed to leave college and become a house daughter?
