Hey, atleast people got to see a happily married couple drowning in love. All is not lost 😛😆

It is, and I've learned my lesson never to have high expectations from ITV soaps again, no matter how great the quality of writing seems to be at the start.

It would have been fine if this was one of the aspects of their lives they showed, rather than being the only aspect.

Ab to sirf crumbs hi milenge.

Ah so abstract conversations are happening 😆....which lead nowhere and keep the characters in half baked interactions. Writers indulging their random thoughts as usual. Anyways, I don’t know if I care anymore for what HS looks up to and what “closure” Mini needs 🤷‍♀️.

What has become clear to me in this phase again is how Aniruddh fans take any criticism of HS ka character personally 😆.....so much for so called HS-Mini fans. End mein pata chal gaya kaun kiska fan hai. Lol

I also don't see the point of writers starting up new threads if they don't follow them through. There are too many open ones as it is.

there is a sharp contrast between how mini has responded to Ashok hurting babita and the way HS responded to his father hurting his mother. And i think the contrast is which HS looks upto in mini

Yeah but he already told her about his lack of courage after her apology way back. It's nothing new.

As far as I can tell, it’s more than fine for most people and if anyone points out how skewed this couple’s relationship was, they are labeled as “people who can’t see HS and Babita happy as a married couple” 😆

Lovely things I get to read in this forum. Show ki writing ke saath saath is forum ka discussion standard is also 👏

So his character ends as a coward who could never rise above his failures? Wonderful. 🙄

This is a shell of a man now. People are conflating their attachment to the actor with HS ka character.

Mitti pao. Aur din hi kitne bache hain?

In my case, I just gave up expecting substantial material from them. They clearly don't want to invest time and effort in setting up proper scenes anymore.

I am frankly only here for Aniruddh and will not watch after his last scene is aired.

I don't even have the same enthusiasm as before to analyze scenes in great depth because even the writers can't seem to make head or tail of what they want to show.

I can't forgive them for destroying the HS-Minnie bond. Not because they wanted to show flaws, but because they did the unraveling in such a crude and unconvincing way that is an insult to their own high standard of writing in the earlier episodes. There could have been many ways of showing differences, them growing apart, etc, but they chose a terrible way to do it.

When I go back and watch him in old episodes I always get these vibes of a man who saw a lot of difficult times since childhood but still found a way to keep seeing the bright side of life, to keep trying to be a better person, while never failing to acknowledge his faults.

Then the CD incident happened and he became some other person, because up until then he was still giving Minnie great advice and showing his caring and understanding of her and of various situations around him.

Now it's like... I don't even have a word to describe it.

As I said, I am only watching it for Aniruddh. I know he doesn't have such great material to work with anymore, thanks to the poor writing (which ironically he had praised so much over the months), but he's doing his best and I will support him.

Yes, you’re an Aniruddh fan. You’re pretty upfront about that. Lol unlike others who claimed to be HS-Mini fans and chose attachment to Aniruddh above all the mess of the story.

Thank you for providing some good discussions about the characters in this forum...even in the last stretch when most other people made Mini hate a national pastime and railed against people pointing out the superficial depiction of a married couple.

I don’t really have anything much else to say about the characters anymore either and since I’m not here to drool over actors, I guess there isn’t much else left for me here either.

Would have been nice to wrap up the last days on a nostalgic note but Log hi Yahaan aise hain ki I guess there’s no point.
