Don't know the legalities behind it, but through this marriage, Minnie is a Singh now. Even if she hasn't formally adopted the name, she will be recognized as HS' daughter now. They are, as you said, a part of his family. Just like his actions will affect her, similarly, her actions will affect him too. Furthermore, she's not going to give them any special treatment or walk around eggshells. She's going to be fully assertive over them. This is who I am to HS and it's because of this bond of ours that I have these expectations from you. If she's treating them pure haq se, then they too have that right to treat her like their own.

@bold, loved the way you put it. Exactly! She doesn't have blood ties to HS but still loves him so I guess she can understand HS and Minnie's situation. I also want her to see their bond up close and maybe give him some advice on being a good father.
