Mannn HS was so good today when he was confronting Babita about his feelings, and their feelings for each other. I am so glad he opened up to her. This will force her to think about his POV now.

Even she knows that they were attracted to each other from the beginning, but she is in denial mode right now and didn't acknowledge it.

One thing I didn't understand though HS said they were attracted pre-divorce, and they didn't acknowledge it because society will morally judge her. AFAIK, it was nothing like that, at least not from Babita's side. I don't think she was attracted or even thought about him in that sense pre-divorce. This is what I didn't understand 🤔.

i saw the precap differently dear. It was not about spoiling relationship at all. Babita abd mini expect hs to be like father to minnie, but can both of them accept if he really behaves like all fathers do in a normal household. I have seen myself many a times when a father tells his kids to get out of the house when they back answer or misbehave but rarely a kid will leave the house, but are mini and babes ready to take harshness sometimes from hs😊

THIS... this is what I've asked for months. HS has always had a naram garam approach, to balance discipline with love. He even told Minnie on the day of the proposal that she could expect that from him as his daughter. Also in one of the scenes he said in his house he expected discipline and respect, but Minnie told him they were just tenant-landlord.

I guess in practice it's hard, theory is easy to speak of. The day she apologized to him, he had told her to learn to countdown but also that if she ever crossed her limits he would send her out of the house.

I guess that day has come and perhaps it's a test of Babita and Minnie's love now for each other and for HS, if there is such an emotion in their hearts. Do you think that's how the CVs are taking things?

Ha Ha even I got this in mind when read about precap... Some fathers do say this all. To their kids but the are not questioned as the related to blood but if HS said its a big issue as he is a step father.... Minni have to take this as well...why is she expecting HS to be soft towards her always.....

yes she actually questioned hs that if he dint bother about what people were talking about mini, if he kept mickey at the house he dint love mini. And here was hs trying to make babes understand for minis sake and she questioned him if he loves mini why is he not finding her. Now if HS parenting style dosent match hers then he dosent love mini?

I always knew they'd have major clashes in terms of parenting styles, but didn't think it would be this early in the marriage. 😆

Written update for those who are on the fence about watching:

• Babes calls Mickey who tells her that Minnie is with them
• Minnie gets upset because she doesn't want Babes or anyone to know where she is. She stops the auto, gets off and starts walking on the highway.
• MP get off as well, and Mickey gets mad at her, asking where the hell does she think she's going wandering off like that
• He takes the girls to a dhabba and tries to get Minnie to cool down
• Minnie breaks down and tells MP how she has dedicated her entire life to Babes. Sacrificed her career, all her happiness just so that she can be happy and yet she can't see anything she has done for her. She always wants everything to be done her way and has never once thought about Minnie. Minnie cries, asking why Babes can't see her the way Mickey sees her.
• Preet wants to console her but Mickey stops her saying that for the first time Minnie is crying for herself and wants her to carry on
• Back at the Haveli, Babita is crying in front of HS. She tells him that she's been calling Minnie for so long and that she's not picking up. HS says that it's obvious that she won't considering how badly they fought.
• Babita tells him the reason why she slapped Minnie and HS tells her that Minnie wasn't wrong. That there has been something between them for a long time, most likely since the day she moved in, but they didn't act on it for various reasons. Her divorce, society, bad timing etc.
• Babita dismisses him saying that she never felt any attraction for him
• HS tells her that the reason why she's feeling so bad about his & Kammo's words is because there is some truth to it. Babita flashes back to when HS called himself Minnie's father and Kammo's bachra comment
• She questions him and he tells her that he did it to assure her. Babita is upset that Minnie thought otherwise this whole time but HS tells her that as far as he knows Minnie knew from the start
• Minnie on the other hand, echoes the same words: that HS calls himself her father so that Babes' fears get eliminated but he doesn't actually consider her to be his daughter. But amidst all that the boundaries had started to blur for her and she actually did consider herself to be his daughter. But then the CD drama happened and it gave her a reality check.
• Preet questions her that wasn't the misunderstanding cleared up. Minnie tells her that he trusted her again because he got proof. What if he had never gotten any? He would have continued believing that she intentionally hurt him and didn't want him as a dad.
• She tells them that he managed to become Babes' husband but not her dad, and there's a possibility that he might not ever become one but she's fine with it. She has no problem with it as long as Babes and he are together and happy. There can't be anything better than that. What she has a problem with is the fact that they keep lying to her and showing her false dreams and expectations.
• She tells them how Babes knows that right now society may be wrong but there's a possibility that their words could come true. That's why she's so touchy and paranoid about everything. She just wants to keep a tight hold on everything around her but she's doing a lot of damage in the process.
• Minnie had hoped that she, HS, and Babes will have a little, happy family of their own where they all love and understand each other. But reality is that dreams don't come true on their own. You need patience, time and effort for that but Babes doesn't understand that. She's letting her fears and insecurities overwhelm her. Who is she going to blame when this happens? Minnie, HS or herself?

• She tells him to leave it, that I'm her mother, I'll go and get her. HS stops her, asking her she's been living with him for so long and still can't see his concern for Minnie. What does he need to do to prove his love for Minnie?
• He leaves saying I'm going to find your daughter. Don't know where I'll find her but I'll find her since that's what will make her happy. He's about to fulfill the role of a father that meets her standards. He leaves angry and heartbroken.
• Mickey asks Minnie if she can survive all the worst case scenarios she has conjured up for herself. Minnie, though reluctantly, says that she can.
• Precap: HS tells Minnie angrily that if she ever argues or fights with Babes for any reason then there's no place for her in the Haveli. Babita freaks out saying that she had just told him to scold her but he's taking things too far. HS rebukes that he's speaking after understanding the situation. I still think there's a lot of hope for them. They just need to speak to each other.

Today i want to reveal something which i have not shared with anyone until now.

I lost my hubby six years back. Many of my wellwishers told me to think abt remarriage. And my reply till today is that the person has to love my son more than me. Today i could relate myself to the episode because though i am quiet a open minded person and take my own decisions, but the fear of being called a bad mother has always been somewhere in my mind and has stopped me from finding my happiness. I am not ashamed today to accept this. But i do love my son more than myself. But i feel everone is scared of being judged and a single mom is scared more. Somewhere the society is responsible for this.

I have unfortunately lost interest and do not watch PB any more, initially because of work commitments and then just didn't feel like catching up on missed episodes.

I am not finding the characters I loved so much any more and am least interested in Hanita since Babita gets so much on my nerves.

I miss you all and will keep reading your posts.
