I think her being busy with HS is good temporarily just so that Minnie can breathe a little but at this point in time, none of them has a sense of where they're going or why. I sometimes also wonder if HS knows but deliberately wants to keep things light-touch, or is he clueless too?

Sometimes I find it really sad that HS and Mini need to get away from Babita simply to breathe 😕

How are any of these relationships healthy then? If you need to pass off a person amongst each other to feel “unburdened”? I don’t think it’s healthy for any of them. HB ki married life also can’t survive like this. Simply trying to escape from each other is not family 😕

HS looks clueless these days more than just trying to keep things light hearted. There is no real broad strategy. He gives in to Babita when she cries or gets stressed out and then gives in to Mini if she makes a puppy face. Yeh ad-hoc kaam chal raha hai 🤷‍♀️....so he deffo gives the impression of just trying to get by....Isse zyada na sochna hai, na samajhna 🤷‍♀️

Minnie needs HS because she is confused but doesn't know it.

Babita in her outburst to HS the other day said something like maine apne dukh ko bada bana liya or something, and that is the crux of the problem. She didn't seem to introspect on it, though.

Ofcourse Babita can’t let go. Anyone who’s known her even for a few months could have seen this coming.

And the man who married her...who has also seen her behavior for many months...that man also made the sweeping presumption that married life would “distract” Babita away from fussing over Mini? Big LOL ....Amazing how shortsighted they both were about Babita. Suddenly it’s like no one really saw her for who she was. They thought shaadi would “fix” her? 😕😆

And in trying to “distract” Babita with marital stuff, HS is being unfair to a Mini who badly needs his attention too given her confusions that she doesn’t even realize 🤷‍♀️

Frankly, I don't blame him. Usko matha phodi na karni. If you remember what he was telling Minnie during dinner a few days ago that he knew that Babita was grasping on to both of them really tightly. So he is aware of it to some extent but I don't know if he's got a long-term plan or approach in mind,

Strategy... I know what you mean but I also think it's a shame that things get this point in relationships where they need to think so much more than just feel and enjoy the moment. Having said that, in this case, if HS doesn't do something soon, it'll just be more of a royal mess than it currently is, if that's possible.

He also needs to think about his own feelings about being Minnie's father or not, and the fact that she doesn't want him in that role. It's under the surface so he'd better deal with it soon.

I don't think he's trying to distract Babita. She's distracting them both. Pretty sure he didn't think shaadi would fix her issues. He was quite certain that it wouldn't be easy, hence all the amrit manthan dialogues before the wedding.

Minnie definitely did seem to want to offload the responsibility of Babita on to HS.

I just wonder if the CVs are also trying to show us that sometimes even when we're aware of issues we just want to sit back and let things be. I also think her outburst on the wedding day about never feeling like a wife or her waiting forever for Ashok is what's taken center stage in term of his efforts, but of course it's not sustainable.

I don't know... HS is acting so out of character because of poor writing, I don't know what to say.

They are both wrong for different reasons, but the general audience may not see things the way we do.

@bold: That’s the crux of it and why HS has to think of the bigger picture beyond short term pacifying....if this doesn’t get addressed now, their family will devolve further.

Aur agar Yeh rishte Zindagi mein khushi paane ke liye jode hain, you’ll have to work for it. You can’t sit back like a spectator and expect it to sort itself. If you care enough, you have to step up...if you think these relationships are worth it.

And our expectations are from HS cuz he seems to want this family the most....agar Abhi Mini se reconnect nahin kiya, communicate nahin kiya, it May be too late after a point. 🤷‍♀️....he would have lost her to distance only.

We can only make presumptions about his motivations because we are never shown any of his thoughts these days beyond him feeling happy ki “grahasti shuru ho gayi” 😆

So yeh toh sab speculations hi hain that he wants Babita to get wife waali feel more. But end result kya nikalta hai? There is still not much emotional depth or meaningful discussions between them. She still mainly acts like a pouty brat in the name of being “wifey”, so have his efforts really borne any fruit in terms of making up for her Ashok related issues? 🤷‍♀️ Lol

This is also why I feel they need to show HS actively trying to communicate with Mini again.....that is when he makes the most sense to me....Babita ke saath toh I feel like I’m seeing a put on version of him these days.
