So acting wise, the PB cast is head and shoulders above them. Actually the writing is wayyyy better than that show which got stilted pretty quickly.

And there is no standard pattern to how and where the channel will interfere with which show. Sony treats different shows differently. They totally threw BBKD under the bus.

I don't know.... that show was the only one that I could watch until the end and remain connected with. Prabhakar's death was so tough for me as a viewer, but it was always meant to happen, as was the path that Sid would take. Yes, the channel interfered because of TRPs and so they had to end it sooner, but they finished all the story arcs they wanted to, albeit in a rushed manner because of the end date.

I just didn’t feel any strong connection with the core plot and post Prabhakar’s death, I stopped caring how it ended. 🤷‍♀️

IMO Sony has had many other better shows than that.

I think in Minnie's case there are a couple of things. One, she doesn't stop to think about what she feels/wants and two she doesn't acknowledge that she really needs help. Until these two aspects are explored and addressed, she will be in limbo.

Yes, she needs therapy but she desperately needs HS now more than ever, especially as she on the cusp of adulthood. He's the only one who can get through to her, using his naram and garam approach. Let's see... Unless they want to ruin this character completely, I would expect him to start trying to uncover what it is that's ailing her.

I do think Mini needs HS a lot too. Which is why I don’t see the argument for “space” with her right now. All it’s done is create distances between them.

The scene the other day showed that what Irfan was doing was hurting HS like hell, especially because of the association with his childhood trauma. Neither Minnie nor Babita are going to see it - not that I expect Minnie to. I mean she's a kid but also not as in tune with HS as she is with Babita's pain. In many ways she can be self-absorbed like her mother is.

That's fine, HS can handle this by himself, but it's a shame that he has to. Maybe one day Minnie will learn to care that much about HS so that anything that happens to his loved ones bothers her too.

Frankly, Babita still seems so detached from the pain of those around her. She saw NB’s pain but she still didn’t really seem connected to it....HS stepped in, she saw him consoling NB so emotionally....if she was that attuned to HS emotionally, she would have sensed his deep rooted pain about people not valuing their mothers but koi khaas reaction hi nahin aata. She is always in her own head. He overreacts to any stress or pain she feels while she seems to have no reaction to anything he feels 🤷‍♀️

Toh then I don’t get why you guys say it’s good Babita keeps him busy 🤷‍♀️😂....Yeh kaisa busy hai which has no emotional depth? Bas feather romance ho gaya and all good?

Meanwhile they are losing Mini on the side too....toh kya faayda hua is “busy in each other” rehne ka?

I mean Minnie needs space from Babita, mentally and emotionally, so HB being busy are supposed to give her that, except that Babita can't seem to let go.

Minnie needs HS because she is confused but doesn't know it.

Babita in her outburst to HS the other day said something like maine apne dukh ko bada bana liya or something, and that is the crux of the problem. She didn't seem to introspect on it, though.

And I think that imbalance is deliberately shown, how he is so in tune with people's pain but she's not, and not just with HS as you pointed out. She went back home and instead of thinking about HS or NB, her focus was on her own anger and what people like Kammo were implying about her being a bad influence on Minnie. I get it that Minnie is supposed to be her first prio, but that doesn't mean she can't care about other people too. I don't know ...

I think her being busy with HS is good temporarily just so that Minnie can breathe a little but at this point in time, none of them has a sense of where they're going or why. I sometimes also wonder if HS knows but deliberately wants to keep things light-touch, or is he clueless too?

Finally AD and Ashnoor are shooting together!!Hopefully its a meaningful scene:)
