In one of the interview, Ashnoor says for the main wedding function, Babita and Mini’s outfit and getup will be the same. They will be twinning. What? Why would Mini be dressed as a dulhan? Ye mere sar ke upar se ja raha hai lol.

May be for the reception...

I meant what people are saying ignore the wedding and sleep together is a live in is even worse of what will people say.

Who cares what people say? It's their life, their house, their premises, what is the business of people in this? I am sorry to say, but because of people with such mentality, our country is backwards. We are not able to accept modern traditions. With time, even humans need to change their mentality. And this is nothing to do with you educating us about whether they should sleep together or not....😊

Can I just say that calling a country backwards is a bit too harsh... South Asian countries are known for their traditions, culture and family values... I understand that some things need to be altered, changed and there should be openness to accept other people's choices but then it is changing in big cities... isn't it? People are reinventing the culture, traditions and reinventing family values to incorporate choices of new generations...

In smaller cities, towns and villages, things and changes will take time. Even today in parts of Europe being pregnant without being married is scandalous... are those parts of Europe backward? I don't think so...

I hope I didn't offend you, though!

By backwards,I mean, there are some policies that still need to be altered. For example educational policy: While in other countries more importance is given to practical knowledge, our country is still stuck to bookish knowledge, while there are some ideas that needs to be altered. Our country is not safe for women, is it good? Is it still not backward? There are some elements like orthodoxy, in the sense that women cannot work, women cannot be paid higher than men (though there are slight changes in this particular aspect). And if our country was progressing, would poverty still exist? I understand it cannot be eliminated, but can there be ways to reduce it? Unemployment is just increasing in our country...

And more importantly, to bring a change in the country, the people have to first change their thoughts...

And no you didn't offend me at all...😃

Oh okay... in this regard I would agree... although I am not an Indian but the problems we face are similar... there is still a long way to go...

I agree with bringing a change in the societies mindset but all that takes time... but isn't it slowly changing... of course, it would still take decades to fix it completely but it is nevertheless a start!
