You know seeing the whole controversy surrounding the show...........My brain is split into two!! 😆

I mean I do quite guilty that the babies are being separated from their parents if only for 4 days but still 4 days......I mean Im sure hardly any of us would give our kid away like that!!

At the same time....I really DO enjoy the show......I adore babies ..so its no surprise.....And its quite different to see a show where all the celebs are not ranting bitching and trying to outsmart each other just for some little cash..........The show actually does not have a winner or loser as such!!

This show does make you feel good.....and about having babies as well!! 😛

So what are your thoughts....should the show be banned cause it exploits children because there is a good argument to that as well!!

I don't want the show banned.
The babies have already adjusted with the celebs, I felt so good seeing my fav. celeb taking care of the sweet babies.
I love kids too, if I get to take care of my cousin's kid , I spend the whole day holding her.
I remember how I used to take care of my kids when they were younger.
The real parents don't seem to have any problems handing over their kids to strangers why should anybody else have.

The real parents unfortunately appear to be doing this for cash, which makes no sense if they are professionals as is being suggested by the channel. Also, what the NGOs are concerned about is psychological damage happening to the babies. They do not comprehend their parents are watching them through monitors and wat not. They just perceive that their parents have abandoned them. That makes them insecure and unhappy - as they are bonded to their parents and not these strangers. From their perspective its irrelevant whether its Rakhi, Juhi, ya Queen of England is trying to care for them ya pacify them. They want their parents which they people are not.
NDTV should have studied the criticism 'Baby Borrowers" faced in England though it was done by BBC to discourage teen pregnancies and they should have studies the criticism this show format faced in America and i believe even Germany. All of this info completely available on the World Wide Web to anybody with a search engine, a heart, and brain. In some of those instances babies were left with unchanged diapers etc. One Indian article suggested that one couple tried to force feed a baby on PPaW.
Whether there is parental approval or not - this show could have been done with battery operated dolls that simulate real babies there was no need to physically ya psychologically distress any real babies for entertainment value or ratings.

I don't understand why NDTV didn't make this 1 hour show.. like all other reality shows.. 😕 half an hour for 5 couples is really not fair.. I m sure editors and directors of the show must be having tough time.. to make an episode.
but I like this show.. its got freshness.. 😃 and all 5 couples are doing great.. although watching for Apu-Shilpa and Rakhi-Elesh . but other couples are also very cool.

Oh, the babies will be fine. They are not going to be psychologically scarred for life or anything like that. Even the 2nd day with celebrities, the babies had gotten adapted to their new parents. As long as they are fed, cleaned and hugged, they will be perfectly alright. I am speaking from experience as I have my own kids. I have done plenty of babysitting, and the babies will feel secure after they get used to the person. Actually their social skills will improve with exposure to strangers.

As guess one thing The Indian version could have done is is abandoned the 'baby stage' and probably started with kids above the age group of 6 who will understand what is happening.

But To me the ban Also doesnt make too much sense since the show has already been shot!

Or they could have come with an alternative arrangement that one parent will stay with them atleast for the baby stage.

I am equally concerned for the babies but I wish NGOs would protest more about kid talent shows...because there the kids are forced to compete with each other (be it singing or dancing) in stressful situations.I find that more cruel to a kid than a baby taken away for 4 days.

Oh, come on, this is not a baby torture show. The celebrity couples are very loving with the babies. They are caring sweetly for the babies. The babies adapt so well as long as they are fed, kept clean, and cuddled and loved.😃
