21st August Written Update

Radha walks in to her room and is surprised to see it completely covered in flowers. Dil Ka Rishta plays in the background as she notices a note from Shlok and kisses it with a smile. A gift appears in front of her and Radha asks Shlok what the need for the gift was when he has already given her the flowers. Serious eye lock as Shlok unwraps the gift to show a blue sari. He drapes it around her and Radha blushes. Another eye lock as Pmami waks in but neither Sahlok or Radha pay attention to her. Pammi clicks her fingers and teases them. She tells them to hurry downstairs as preparations are going on and she doesn't want to disturb them again. She leaves grinning and Shlok takes Radha down.

Downstairs…

Chinky grabs a handful of samosas and starts munchignaway. Pinky admonishes her saying that she has already eaten so much since morning but Aaje says that it's fine as the food is there to be eaten. Sona rolls her eyes and goes back to filing her nails. Sandeep notices this and says that cutting nails on a Thursday is inauspicious, Sona gives him an incredulous look but he takes the file away from her saying that a wedding will soon happen in the house and he doesn't want to take any chances. Him and Aaje go back to the guest list as Urvi and Radha come in. Shlok smiles at Radha and makes space for her to sit next to him.

Urvi signals towards Pink who nods and asks to look at the guest lsit. Aaje gives it to her and after reading it, Pinky asks why Radha's family is not on the list.

Urvi feign surprise and admonishes Rahda for forgetting about her family. She tells her to give the names now so that they can put them o the guest list. Radha looks sad and Sona cuts in saying that Radha has never deemed it necessary to tell them about her family.

Urvi looks confused and asks who will do the Kanyadan, Aaje replies that Sumita will but Urvi says that both husband and wife are needed for this and Shivaji is away. Also, Pammi and Sandeep will be doing the puja from the grooms side so they will not be able to do the Kanyadan either. Pinky says that she feels sorry for Radha as she no-one to do her kanyadan.

Radha has tears in her eyes and leaves for her room. Urvi and Aaje follow. Urvi apologises on behalf of Pinky – Radha replies that there is no need and talks about emotionally about Parivaar; saying that maybe the love of her Parivaar was not written in her destiny. Urvi pretends to be sympathetic and calls Radha her younger sister, before probing for moe information about her family.

Aaje tells Radha that she is beign silly as her in-laws will also give her the lover of her maayka. She consoles Radha and they both hug as Urvi glares at them.

Next scene…

Shlok puts the ring on Radha;s finger. Urvi is unhappy to see this but the whole family claps as Radha and Shlok have another eyelock. Aaje gives Radha shagun from the boys side and blesses them. Pammi asks who will give shagun from the girls side and tells Sumita to do it. Sumita smiles and replies that a special guest is here to fulfil the rasam.

Everyone looks towards the door as Radha's family comes in! Radha is overwhelmed as her family smile at her. Urvi is furious and signals to Pinky who nods. As Radha hurries towards her family, Pinky sticks out her leg and Radha trips and drops the Shagun on the floor. Everyone is shocked.

Urvi doesn't need to do much planning – just let Chinky loose in the kitchen and her sister will eat the family in to destruction!😆

Radha's family at the end was a sweet surprise, though of course Megs nautanki and the weirdo sisters antics aren't far away.😕
