very hectic and stressful... coming week I have a trip to Mumbai and to hyd the following week

After my 6 month review on Monday supervisor asked me if I have any problem working with team or working with women. He said others feel i don't respect them as professional so i should try to bring more of their input in my work than just asking my supervisor.

I told him I just have strong sense of boundaries with opposite sex so don't want to bother them and i do ask them when needed.

But then today finally told him something i had been feeling for sometime. I don't feel comfortable there as feel I am expected to do certain things or things in certain ways but i don't know what are these expectations. He said but I am doing training, intake very well. I said yes there i feel confident as know what I am asked to do. I have also established good rapport with other dept but when walk in our own dept i don't know. I know I have lot to learn but don't know how to. I am not sure if I can approach others and feel I am not at same level as other 2. I was told by previosu supervisor and professor given me new i need to keep my head down and follow. I am trying to do that but don't like it. I feel I need to get their approval for things and I hate that feeling. Result, I am feeling apprehensive in doing some tasks and not able to be myself or do the task despite having skills. I feel i will be wrong and all that.

Supervisor said I am worrying too much. I don;t need to follow anyone, can develop my style and if it takes extra time, that's ok
