Just saw the pic online. I don't think I have ever eaten it. Do we get this veggie here in US?

I have seen them in Patel brothers...My mom used to make it and i hate it so never concentrated on the recipe

They do look like snakes I would be very apprehensive eating them😆

May be we can put them in sambhar. I think any kind of guard will be okay for Sambhar.

Y'day I made Sambhar from scratch and Idali from MTR packet. My hubby made Chutney. It was very good😛😛

Ya may be you can put in sambar but don't add bitter gourd to it 😆

Ohh good i never made idli till now i go to Indian rest whenever i feel like having idli
