PART 16
Life was beautiful for Kunal and Siddhi. The more time they spent together at home and at work the more they discovered things in one another to love.
After a hard week at work Kunal and Siddhi decided to out for dinner on Friday. After a romantic dinner on their way out they ran into Kunal's friend from college, Rajat, who was there with his wife Shelly, 8 year old son Rahul and 6 month old daughter Sia.
After the adults greeted one another, Kunal immediately turned his attention to the kids. He knew Rahul well who was vert happy to meet his Kunal uncle. He then turned his attention to Sia who he had never met earlier
Kunal: And who is this beautiful angel?? Come to Kunal uncle.
Rajat: Arey Kunal bahut shaitan hai yeh. Ajneebiyon ki god mein jaate hi rone lagti hai.. tu bhi try kar ke dekh.
Kunal held the baby lovingly who in turn was very happy in Kunal's arms.
Rajat: Wow kunal you really have a way with kids.. kisi ki god mein nahi jaati hai yeh par tere paas khushi khushi chali gayee.
K: Arey she is such a sweet angel..
He kissed her and the baby began laughing and smiling at Kunal:
Seeing Siddhi and Shelly busy talking with one another Rajat took kunal to a side.
Rajat: You really should think of starting a family soon.. You'd make a great father.. Plus you wont be young forever.. Waise hi kaafi late ho gaya hai.. aur mat delay kar..
Kunal: hmm you know in what circumstances we got married and we have just begun to love each other..
Rajat: But you both love each other immensely. And Kunal I know how much you love kids..Ek baar Siddhi se baat to kar..
Kunal was thoughtful. As the families began to leave Sia was in no mood to leave Kunal. He had to coax her to go back to her parents. 😳
At home:
Siddhi: Kunal you were amazing with Sia. In fact you are so good with all kids. Ishani anokhi bhi apne chachu se kitna pyar karti hai. Jab hamare bache honge to mujhse zyaada woh aapko chahenge,
Siddhi pretended to sulk.
Kunal: Par main unki mumma ko sabse zyada chahunga.. 😉
That night Kunal couldnt sleep. He thought about what Rajat had said. He did love kids. A lot. After his break up with Richa he hadnt thought he'd ever have kids and had showered all his love on his nieces. But now he was married to the love of his life and the idea of having a baby with her was such a beautiful one.
A few days later it was Kunal and Siddhi's wedding anniversary.
Kunal was determined to make the day super special for her.
Siddhi's day began with a lovely kiss from Kunal. She got up too find a romantic breakfast in bed waiting for her
After an amazing breakfast Kunal had another surprise for her.
K: Siddhi, we are going to Goa today?
Siddhi: wow par arrangements ?
K: Everythings taken care of my love, including clothes to fit Goa's environment.
Kunal had bought a beautiful beach dress for Siddhi. It was white in color and had beautiful patterns of sea blue all over it. When she got dressed she found Kunal dressed in linen pants and a white shirt..
Siddhi: WOW!! My husband is so handsome..
K: Main to hamesha se hi handsome tha.. tumhi underestimate karti thi. Ghar ki murgi daal barabar
They reached Goa late in the evening. Siddhi squealed with delight when she saw the arrangements that Kunal had made.He had arranged a candle light dinner for two at the beach. There were sheets spread on the beach and they were going to spend the night on the beach. There was slow romantic music playing making the entire setting perfect.
After a dinner comprising of all of Siddhi's favourite dishes Kunal and Siddhi began slow dancing to the romantic music. They faded into each other arms. Slowly they lay on the sheets and began making love under the star light. The stars in the sky, the gentle breeze and the waves piercing the silence of the night- the setting was perfect. As perfect as their love.
They lay in each other's arms staring at the night sky.
Siddhi: Kunal this was beautiful..
K: Not half as beautiful as you.
Just then they saw a falling star. Kunal asked Siddhi what she wished for.
Siddhi: Nothing. I have everything.
Kunal: But I asked for something
Siddhi: Kya?
Kunal: Sahi time aane par bataoonga..
And then they both fell quiet. Enjoying each other and the beautiful atmosphere around them.
Next Day
Kunal: We should do this more often...
Siddhi: Yes Mr Husband we should. Lets celebrate our anniversary every month.
Siddhi moved to take her birth control pill. Kunal's hand stopped her.
K: Mat lo na!!
S: Achha.. yeh kal sochna chahiye tha na when you couldn't keep your hands off me. 😳
K: No, I mean.. why is birth control necessary? Siddhi, you know what i wished for last night? A sweet angel who is a total replica of you..
S: Par Kunal.
K: Siddhi why dont we have a baby together? 😊
