i was eagerly waiting for last week TRPS.. the reason..
Well before last week , the CVs were doing a fair job, with Kunal investigating, using his gold medal brain and taking the control of the situation and we thought Parichay was back on track but TRPs showed other wise which I think compelled Cvs to change the track or bring back naari Shakti...since it has been their tried , tested and successful formula for years , and according to them will bring back the audience and even I started feeling the same that except for most of us in IF and handful of others majority wanted to see naari -shakti and melodrama which explained the reason for the falling TRPs
Last week with Kunal going to jail, Sidhi taking control , if TRPs would have increased then it would have meant the CVs were correct (about naari shakti working ) and they would have continued with naaari-shakti, more of Sidhi and less of Kunal in Kunal's parichay..
Since TRPs have fallen I hope at least now Cvs will realize that naari shakti does not always work esp for this show because it was promoted as a male oriented show andd the male lead is not only heartthrob but he is the one carrying the show and thus needs more space..
Also the fact that we want some intelligent and substantial stuff , rather than the old tracks which we have alreday seen in all the other soaps..
hope this will serve as a wake up call for the CVs...and Kunal chopra will be back in action soon...
