It would have to be Raging Bull. I just finished watching it for the 20th or maybe 30th time.
Your favourite romantic scene in a movie.
The scene from Out of Sight when George Clooney introduces himself to Jennifer Lopez, and then flashbacks are inter-cut through the conversation. It's one of the most sensuous scenes I've ever seen.
Which actress would you love to go on a date with and why?
Natalie Portman because she's so beautiful and extremely cerebral. We would have a good conversation.
Which dialogue have you mouthed the most in front of the mirror?
It would have to be Al Pacino's final speech from Scent of a Woman where he says, "I too old, and I'm too blind…" The movie is actually full of unforgettable lines.
Who inspired you to become an actor?
Truthfully, I wanted to be an actor ever since I was eight years old, before I even saw a film. It started with a musical theatre workshop in school where I couldn't sing. An inspiration, I would say, is watching Amitabh Bachchan die in Sholay. It's a heartbreaking performance.
The worst film you ever watched.
There are so many. But one film that really disappointed me was The Giant starring James Dean. It was Dean's last film and I had heard so much about it. But it was just too long and I couldn't sit through it.
Which film do you wish you could be a part of?Definitely The
odfather. Al Pacino's role if I'm young, and Marlon Brando's if I'm old.
What makes you an actor?
My need to express myself and my ability to express myself well.
