Well there certainly is nothing that anyone can do to stop Richa at this point. Her ship sailed long time ago. No psychological treatment is going to help her either. I believe she is pure criminal materiel, just how Thakral is purely devious and doesn't care for right or wrong as long as he benefits from it. Hey I am even willing to discuss Richa case with my professor who are in the field dealing with criminals for over 25 yrs but i doubt there is any hope.
So for Richa getting Kunal is important and he has tried all nice ways to show her he's never coming back, so to say. Richa will continue until she's dead as I don't think she's getting tired any time soon or getting any sense.
Only thing anyone can try to is to make sure to keep such people away. Believe it or not, fear does often work with such people.
I would say what Kunal did was more than reasonable given his situation. I am not saying Kunal should go and keep slapping Richa every time she comes across; but today it was right. His method may seem too harsh to some, but that was right action according to me. Even every religion allow there is nothing wrong in protecting what is right and protecting your own form evil forces. There are people who even use religion as mean for violence so are we going to ban religious texts? Now If there are people who want to use Kunal's slap as an excuse for violence; I say my field soon should receive some good amount of business😉
