Am not in law profession nor I had any law related subject in college but my logic brain isn't able to take the fact that the gold medallist lawyer Kunal Chopra forgot or didn't argue the case in a sensible way today😒. Here are some pointers which could strengthen kunal's defense.

  • Which Indian court works 24/7 that the murder case proceedings are happening in super speed? Even the fast track case takes few days to go on trial. Here we see on day 1 the accident happens and in the next 2 days the case is already on trial, which planet do these people live in? 😲
  • There was no mention of FIR again, who filed the accident case against siddhi? Thakral filed the murder charges but it happened on the bases of the accident case right? Why didn't kunal ask for those details? 😕
  • Who were the eye-witnesses who identified siddhi's car & rohit by which siddhi was arrested, why weren't those eye-witnesses questioned by kunal?😕
  • Why didn't kunal question thakral about Rohit? What the heck was he doing in the middle of the road on a rainy night? When he had a car & usually travelled by it, there was no need for him to walk down the road to get killed.🤢
  • If co-incidentally that hotel kunal pointed to siddhi was the rendezvous for Rohit to meet Raveena, it would have come to light that these both were supposed to meet that night & the purpose would have been known to all of kunal had asked the above question.Am sure dumbeena is hiding major info about that night, she looked super guilty today.😡
  • The CCTV footage was hazy & we didn't get to see exactly what was in that, kunal could have dismissed that as evidence coz it wasn't clear & no one could prove that the person driving the car was siddhi or the person who got hit by that car was Rohit.
  • The forensic report of the car print looked like it was a science project, how can they get such clear print of the tyre when siddhi drove the car in slushy rain after the hit to reach her brother's place? There should have been a muddy print not blood print.
  • There was no mention of how Rohit's body was found, isn't that vital to asses how the hit was done & which way the body was thrown to have been killed.
  • Every homicide or murder trail should have victim's photos, nobody even bothered to get those photos in the court. Nor the post-mortem report was mentioned, it would have thrown some light on how Rohit died.😲

These were enough for kunal to have asked the judge for extension of the trail to gather info regarding these unsolved questions.

How can a judge pass on the final verdict without any hard evidence and counter arguments is beyond me?😲 Thakral has filed the murder case against siddhi in a sessions court, if the verdict is against siddhi kunal can appeal in higher court. Why are they behaving as if he's fighting the case in Supreme Court and there is no hope at all? 🤢

Seriously can't imagine why kunal would take the blame to rescue siddhi when he can use his brains & work out the case sensibly 😕. It was disappointing to see him today. What muhurat are veera waiting for i don't get 😡, few days ago viks was giving big bashan that he wudn't close his case as it would be helpful to siddhi's case. Well, the case is about to end viks, when do you plan to tell that to kunal?😡 Me in my sleepy state could list out so many pointer, kunal chopra you are wide awake, when will we get to see your gold medallist lawyer skills at work?

Going by the latest promo it seems like it's in deep sleep 🥱, jago kunal jago 😡

PS: Those who want to comment that I shouldn't find logic in EK's show can save the trouble of posting it, no offence to anyone. Even though it's a fictional show, they are showing a real profession so logic and sense has to be there.

Hej Ramya,
It's been quite a day & am knackered, but I didn't want to turn in without giving you the thumbs up👍🏼

I'm sure Chits will come up with more to add to your already substantial list of irregularities, so I shan't venture there...

Considering the PH that this show comes from & its reputation for en masse catering, I'm not holding out for clever writing or tight screenplay. Mediocrity with a capital M is the order of the day. However, like you, separating logic from the rest of me is not something I care to do... I leave that to the Homo erectus ...you know, the older model that we mostly replaced...yet there are some that walk amongst us!

As before, much of what you've raised will be lost in translation, swept under the carpet or plain conveniently over looked..that I have no doubt about.
Some will hopefully be brought to light, as the fog is shown lifting from around Mr. Chopra. The hazy video & Raveena/Vikram's role in this, Im particularly hopeful about.
The "ilzaam" promo isn't what it seems either. What might start off as a genuine last ditch effort to save a loved one, might well set the ball in motion, unearthing dirt as it gathers speed...

After viewing the IF video where Samir Soni talks about trying to meet viewers expectations & infusing some intelligence into the show, I'm relatively sanguine that the rants, stinkers, pleas are being heard. Yes I dare hope that it isn't all applesauce & that they do have a couple of healthy bunnies they'll pull out of the hat in the coming days...

PS: Since I'm still on with my rants/pleas/suggestions, I'm going to use some of your points here in my msgs to the youknowwhos, if that's ok with you.

you are right about so many of the points.
I never expect to see a court room drama as real life for two reasons: it's a daily soap so things have to be shown fast & seeing actual proceedings would be more than boring.
Non of the less, there should be few things taken care for sure.
If they've only shown forensic report ok, but the tire marks made me laugh very hard.
Let's just assume that Rohit was killed by Siddhi's car and Kunal has the FIR, post-mortem reports, pictures, the usual that comes along; and say all that is against Siddhi.
But how was body found and where are or who are eye-witnesses who recognized Siddhi as the culprit and why police reached to Kapil's?
What was Rohit doing in the middle of the road.
We didn't see CCTV footage clearly, so how does that prove it's Siddhi?
And no matter what ever the case might be, no judge is ever going to give verdict in one hearing, without giving defense one chance.

Again I do not expect to see real life court-room drama as it's not a legal drama. But still they should do some justice to how things work in real life. The questions we've raised hopefully will be shown coming in the show, at least some of it that are absolutely necessary for this MMT.

Sameer sir did say that whole team is trying their best to present an intelligent show for the viewers, so let's hope it goes in right direction. So far questions I mentioned have not been tackled yet, but they surely should in upcoming episodes. i do sense that what we saw today is just small start and we may see at least some of these questions handled by Kunal.

Ramya 👏 👏 👏 for not losing hope on this show and giving CVS idea as to what we want to see. Your post reminded me of Chitra's post. She had made a similar post at the end of the last case.👍🏼

It pains me that we can do research on any profession but these CVS don't even do their research or homework prior to showing any professional on the screen. May be CVS have taken it for granted that their shows are only meant for the people with low IQ who watches these show either for good face actors or for their clothes.😡

Just watched IF video on Parichay in which Sameer himself confirms that this show will eventually be shown intelligent and the whole unit is working towards it. The big question is are these CVS trained to think outside the box? All these years they have just worked on the same old track and in your words used ctrl C and ctrl V do they have the capability to do enough research and put forward the track that has all the elements of an intelligent show? 😕

I usually hate comparison but for those who feels that the daily soaps should not have the element of logic would like to point one show out there called ADALAT who is showing the same profession with dignity. The cases there are solved with some logic and that too in one hour time frame. Whereas here the CVS have full liberty on time where the case of Kunal and Siddhi can be shown with some good basic logic and strong dialogues.

THANAL confrontation always have been a successful since Daddy T has never disappointed his loyal audience. CVS can use this trump card too!

Oh Shumi, I disagree with you😆 Nothing is as stupid as the pregnancy track 😡😆

But jokes apart, great great post Ramya. Thanks for keeping up with the rants to the CVs👏 It is always always important to present the best case to them, though it would be highly optimistic to expect that all of these will be taken into consideration Many will be swept by the wayside in favor of drama, so we can only hope that some logical arguments and evidence will be presented by Kunal in saving his wife, rather than a miracle or a grand intervention of fate happening. But thanks for your suggestions to the CVs and hopefully they will choose some of these while writing the future track.

Well Ramya .. Agree with everything you said and hats off to you for bringing up all these in writing👏👏.. All I want to say is, may be there is still hope this time.. maybe our gold medalist will raise these questions in the future episodes and give us a logical track.. lets wait and watch as this track has only started.. but yes, we want all these questions answered for sure😳 Seems like it is going too quickly with the judge saying the verdict will be out after the break.. I was surprised too.. he did not even give the defense a chance to counter those proofs.. very weird
