My two cents :
He did not over react . He was not the one who lashed out . It was Siddhi who lashed out as her emotions were not in her control . She is in love with Kunal and it disturbs like hell when the one you love is pursued by another woman . One often removes frustration on the innocent person being pursued ...in this case , her spouse , Kunal . Mothers do that if their daughters r pursued by eve teasers ...Arre Karamjali Why the HELL do you go from THAT road only ? They ask unfairly as they are WORRIED . Same way , wives often react this way if someone hits on their husband . You must be feeling ELATED na , they say . Actually the poor husband is least interested .
It happens . I think it was sweet of Siddhi to become this emotionally upset .
Kunal rocked . What a man ! The MOMENT Siddhi came in the room he went to her and told her STRAIGHT away about what happened . Now THATS called honoring a MARRAIGE . He showed RESPECT to Siddhi when he did that . Most men would have avoided telling ...FIRST NATURAL REACTION OF MEN ...not coz they like to hide but its typically a male protective mentality that they spare the woman unhappiness if it can be AVOIDED . They simply leave out the unpleasant details if they can .
What he got was a lashing out and irrelevant blames . He did not know WHERE all this came from so he was zapped . Then , his husbandly ego hurt , he gave her back too . I found that CUTE . Tv serials portray such wimp men nowdays . They dont show REAL husband wife fights at all , do they . They show DRAMATIC WEEPY fights .
But this spousal fight was VERY REAL and hence REFRESHING .
Siddhi later told Seema that he is totally unaware of that witch's intentions .
When Men r unaware , it becomes very very difficult for a wife to point out such petty bitchy behaviour of other women as men do NOT like petty talk . Generally speaking they r broadminded and do not notice this the way women do . Women have a sixth sense to notice pettiness ...gifted to them by GOD .
Since Siddhi could not open up to Kunal and since she felt threatened emotionally...that she was about to lose him , she crossed her bounds .
Actually , without both of them knowing it , their relationship PROGRESSED with that fight . They had their first Marrital tiff . Seema pointed it out later and I agree .
