Thanks for the update sahasra. Also, sargi is something only MIL gives to her DIL in the early mrng (before sunrise) of the KC to thank her for fasting all day for her son's long life. The Sargi plate includes everything from sweets, fruits, to all suhag stuff like red sari, a set of jewelry, sindoor, red bangles, bindis, etc.

I am originally from North India, so I have seen all this in my household. My grandma giving this to my mom. I just love KC.

i know about it roughly but don't know what exactly is included in it.thanks for explaining.we too celebrate it here but with different name,rituals etc.😊
