1st epi not upto my expectation

Why why do i put so many expectation on ekta show why ??? Its like watching a 80s show comeon Yaar had hai . First chandra nandni than this show which felt so promising from the promos that too with such amazing cast of drashti and arjun as leads . 😭 😭

Its just my views and things that i found weird and not as per i thought in my mind

What doesnt work for me ? .

1. Which teacher give students love letter quotes for velantines day that too those who speaks so bad about her and she takes their shit acting like abl naari comeon dude ..

2 . I didnt go wow over naina's character as i wish i could .

She is independent ,earn for her family ,takes care of her mother good all points check .

But how can a independent women be so naive and stupid let her own students bully her .

Falling in love having a broken heart is geninue and devestating but still not standing up for herselff is not good .

(ekta has brought back the same old abla heroins of old days like heer ,prena , or kany other who just cry and cry ) .

Though the plot of showing lost love , her mother's worry was a good thought but its presentation was too fast and rushed .
They should have taken time to reveal it .that too in memories of naina not by telling ur ram katha to unknown aunty .

2. Who goes on telling their life story to a strange aunty only bcoz she blamed her like her daughter of leaving parents alone . She telling aunty abt how much she cares for her mother and family must have been enough

Rest should be narrated through her thoughts .

I felt like laughing when she goes on telling about her love than break uup .comeon dude ! Whats wrong with u .

If she had a character who was talktive and all i still have digested it but uhh... i hated it .


I am not saying that for being a independent women you need to be angry and shout at ppl
But demanding respect and holding ur own forte is important for me .


What works ?

1. Drashti is one of the most amazing talented actresss . She just makes u feel with her . Hopefully her characters develops beautifull in furthur epis . I dont want to see her as a crying doll .i want to see the women that ws in promos

2. Plot is interesting but presentation is weak and feels like you are watching an old ekta show .


Wating to watch more epis hoefully it doesnt turns out like kumkum bhaga or kasam which disappoint me to hell .

Hope it doesnt soon turn into a saas bhu saga and is able to question ppl about eir thoughts of considering boy more important than girl .

Yep, Drashti and Arjun are definitely talented actors and I want their talent to be utilized properly and to the fullest extent. I agree about the rushing of Naina's first love part. Ekta's CVS could have handled that with more care. Maybe slowing it down a little. 😊

Regarding the main storyline, hope Ekta takes her time with it and gives us a compelling and logical love story. I really hope we get to see an assertive and headstrong Naina. All in all, I'm really looking forward to seeing how the storyline unfolds. 😊

Agree with many of your points and have expressed same...I wasn't "dissapointed" overall because ultimately the impression was good and seeing Drashti is such a joy!

I wasnt able to feel pain of naina over her lost love at all . If it have been presented slowly with each epi it would hv been so much better . I am looking forward to it too .i do hope she gives a interesting and realstic love story .

Do people still behave like that in metro cities like Delhi? She is educated, beautiful, and young and no body talks like those 16-17 year old girls...only in Indian TV world that happens😆

Marriage is not the be all and end all for any individual, man or woman. Why didn't Naina fight back! She just cried! Sick of bechari heroines on TV! I found Naina's intonation to be very soft and sympathy inducing!Hope she stands up and gives it back sherni style in future!

Also, I would have liked if it was work that caused her to go abroad...not marriage...anyways, I hope I am right and this is the case lol...

On a side note, professors earn good cash...it should me more than enough for Naina to provide for her mother and herself...

Overall creatively, I expect a lot more in the future!

Besides the creative side, the clothing was really not up to the mark for me esp. that second outfit was really not appealing! What we saw in promos and what we saw here...not even near same level!

Also was on the CC and we are all not hearing things...something was indeed wrong with dubbing...😆

P.S. Is Chandranandini a disappointment? I was thinking of checking it out...

So agree with u . No one bheaves like that especially metro cities are u kidding me .if instead of those young students it had been some old aunties talking like that i would have believed it but not this .

Do watch chandra nandni maybe it will work for u especially if u r rajat tokas fan . But they have bended the history to no end . And some things are so idiotic that i cant stop laughing .

Students mocking part was the only thing I didn't like..

I hope we see a super strong Naina tomorrow! 😳

you know naina that was sold to us in promos was way diff than what i saw yesterday.

Drashti was so fab that i actually overlooked these things but after reading your post i agree that this was silly on cvs part.

And i really dont get it that why the heck have cvs manipulated naina .From her looks to her talking style to her confidence everything everything seemed like an 80's heroine ...nothing near fo what was shown in promos.

Really i had high expectations from this character ...i thought with star plus promoting new female leads with nayi soch naina might b a strong character from ekta's kitty like ishita .
Heer was homeless ,jobless and an orphan with a younger sister to take care of;her parents had engaged her and their sudden death before her marriage left her with no option but to stay with her chacha chachi and get married to the guy who her parents had engaged her to. After such trauma ofcouse heer couldnt have fought alone coz she it was too late when she came to know of ger chachi's evil plan...so heer as a character was perfect for me in that sense.

Here naina has a job and family as well.
we are yet to know of her brother but common cant he send naina money if he is working in innsbruck ..he doesnt need to come but dude just send money for your mother's operation .And plus in today's world working ppl have many options from where thay can arrange money.so yeah 1st epi was tooo illogical.

You are right chandra nandini for me was disappointing as well.Ekta copies her own shows or karan johar films is well known but yahaan toh she copied baahubali ...lols

Anyways casting is fabulous ...i know EKta can get highly illogical but soo soon for this show i never thought.
Even raghav's entry is confusing coz i thought he was veer's p.a. but in the precap it looked otherwise.

i am still hoping for a sweet romance between raIna and i love additi and laksh too ...plus who wouldnt watch innsbuck ...so i shall obviously watch ...you know though illogical it is far better ...atleast the show is not supernatural.

I hope naina 's flashback to end early and actual story to start soon .


P.S. Do try watching P.O.W Bandhi yuddh ke and Beyhadd you wouldnt be disappointed with these two shows.

The first episode seemed rushed and because of that I couldn't connect to any of the character. I mean all this backstory thing is for us viewers to connect to the characters know them better but that did not happen.
