Dhara is around 40 and even has an older brother. Her mother has to be in her 60s. That actress does not look anywhere close to that.

That's the issue with itv actresses start looking their age they make them act as mom characters. Krutika is in her fifties I think but she has been playing mom and even Grandma roles since over a decade. It's insane. But older people can look young if they take care of themselves in real life lol

And they go the other way around with actors, in both television and film.

They could easily get good actresses belonging to the specific age bracket instead of hiring younger ones and then putting make-up on them to make them look older.

The double standards between actors and actresses is insane guys can act with underage gals but are too scared to act with ones who are a certain age coz then they have to play their own age lol these days sometimes Ekta does come up with mature couple stories but it's still relatively young actors playing parents to kids who are much closer to their age lol

Even a lot of stories seem to be centred around 18-20 year old girls getting married, many a times against their will, to older men and then facing mistreatment and abuse.

A while back I saw a clip of some show with two similar aged women but they were apparently playing mother and daughter.

I remember previously shows used to have a lot of leaps and would just add white streaks to the actors' hair to show the passage of time. Their children would then even be played by actors older (and older looking) than them.
