@ bold - we will never know but one thing for sure people who work hard in the background will move onto next show.
Even though main casts get good money but I feel for them it’s harder to get a new role and earn money due to competition in this industry. It’s like being a SM influencer, aaj kaam hain, tomorrow it may not be.

I am trying to understand the mindset of the writers with respect to Gaumbi. He has he been reduced to Dhara's lap dog.
He used to be the most respected man in the family, and more respected than Dhara and Suman. Shiva left his education, not for Dhara but for Gaumbi. Dev used to consider Gaumbi his best friend, not Dhara. Krish always respected Gaumbi and actually called out Dhara for trying to be his mother. So what changed.
And I think I finally have an answer.
Gaumbi's role has definitely been reduced but I don't think he has been changed to such a degree that we would find jarring. The problem with his character is Dhara. Dhara has changed so much and is made too larger than life, that a simple and mature character like Gaumbi can't match up to that. Dhara is now the messiah, there is no way Gaumbi can ever be that because his character won't allow it.
Now Dhara's character shouldn't have been allowed to be as crazy as she is but the writers went there with her but they can't do that to Gaumbi. They have to show one of those 2 as the submissive and it can't be Dhara.
Dhara has become so nonsensical that every logical thing that Gaumbi says goes over her head. Gaumbi told her the night before to not try to mother Rishita's baby but she doesn't listen and then feels bad for some reason that a mother would want to take her of her own babym, than let Dhara take care of her.
It is because Gaumbi lets Dhara get away from all these things. Had Gaumbi been a little bit more stern with her and not given her carte blanche then maybe Dhara probably would've been salvageable. But that is not what they showed.
I really don't see any course correction with Gaumbi for the makers because they have lost the track with Dhara. They can't correct Dhara any more so Gaumbi is going to continue being the way he is. It is upsetting to watch because when I started watching the show, I really liked him. After Shiva Raavi and Krish, he was my favorite.
Gaumbi also acts partial : his act at Dev leaving as if duniya khatam, his act of main akela pad gaya hoon, allowing every Penny to go for dev, stepping over ShiVi to support Rishita, terming Pags as dev’s mehnat, giving Dhiva ki mehnat ka PS upgrade credit to dev.., zero concern in knowing why Shiva left studies or attempt to find him when he went missing, zero standing up for ShiVi when Rishita told him nastiest of slurs….Gombi lost the charm & character of being good bada bhai to all.
Gaumbi also has jumpy traits lately: one minute he will be very sad for dev. & other minute he’ll be slurping Dhara inbetween ShiVi scenes w/ BiG toothy smile! Next minute he’ll again be back being missing dev…
Gaumbi also stayed complete mute to his mothers physical & emotional & verbal abuse to Raavi. Mute.
No sane mature ‘ghar Ka badaa’ would stay w quiet this way!
Inshort Gaumbi is now nothing but Dhara’s nimbooman.

I stopped liking Dhara's character during the danda kaand. I haven't been able to like her one bit since then.
When gautam and dhara are ready to adopt a kid(not that I believe their parenting skills😆) then why not directly go to an orphanage...complete the procedures and adopt a child...

Rishita will rightly be furious and possessive about her baby but the makers will make it seem like Rishita is being selfish by not wanting to share her baby with Dhara 🤬
Do the makers mistake Rishita to be like Suman that allows Dhara to call her sons as her sons.
Why do the makers want to present Dhara as a psycho who goes after every mother's children?
