Tagging you @ML since this is a special post 😉. For those of you who don't know, about a year ago, ML and I had our own theories about KDice dating (which can be accessed here!) And now, I've decided to do a revision post since it's been a while since I've had theories about things, and because Hails wants me to work hard, I guess I'm theorizing until their wedding 🤣. Please ignore if you do not want to read this long, long post about my theories about them (but I doubt you'll ignore the post since this is a ShiVi AU thread 😂).
Details matter! So enjoy this post! Maybe next year, Hails and I can do another prediction about what KDice's baby's name would be 😁

So take my prediction with a grain of salt 😛
To summarize things:
—Friendship began in Mumbai immediately before Alice's rehearsal because Kanwar asked about the origin of Alice's name. This little interaction broke the ice between them and allowed Alice to be even more comfortable as she played the role of Raavi. Makers saw the "innocent yet pure" chemistry between them, and without a doubt, cast Alice for the role.
—They had a Tom and Jerry type relationship with each other on set (Kanwar being Tom and Alice being Jerry), which amused everyone. But things truly changed once Kanwar's birthday party happened. They both saw each other's playful, party side, and this made them both develop a sort of crush for each other. Alice and Kanwar spoke to each other late into the night, and right before Alice left, she gave her phone number to Kanwar so they could personally message each other off sets to debate some more about who had the better food preferences.
—This phase is probably their, "I like the other, but I'm scared our friendship would be ruined if we became anything more." I imagine Alice crushing hard on Kanwar because he is all masculine with a touch of boyish charm, and I imagine Kanwar hard core crushing on Alice because she's beautiful, smart, and charming. At one point, while insta-stalking her, he accidentally likes her beach picture (which has been deleted). Here's the scenario that went on in my head...
Kanwar: Oh no! (internally panicking because he didn't want Alice to know that he was insta-stalking her). I need to unlike this—
Next moment, he receives a text from Alice asking him if liked beaches, because she loved beaches! Since he had been caught, he decided to keep calm and move on...
—During a late night shoot, Kanwar offers to drop Alice off at her flat, and Alice finds no reason to refuse his kind gesture, so she agrees to be dropped off as her flat is on the way to his house. He drives extra slow just to spend all the time he could with Alice, and he isn't even bothered that her flat is opposite to the route he typically takes to the gym. After that one ride, it became almost a silent routine for him to drop her off at her flat, and he didn't mind it one bit.
—Kanwar and Alice argue about who is more romantic of the two. Kanwar says it's him because he knows just how to charm the girls, while Alice tells him that she is way more romantic because she likes to cuddle her man. Not wanting to lose the argument, Kanwar begins to write mushy-gushy posts about Alice. The more she blushes while reading the posts, the better.
—Bikaneer happens, and now articles about the two dating appear. Kanwar wanted to protect her so he set things clear, but this disappointed Alice somewhat because she always felt as though there was something more between them. She stopped posting on insta for a few days to sort out her thoughts, while Kanwar kept replaying things to figure out how their relationship became so icy, so fast.
—It didn't take long to make Alice smile since Kanwar continued to be goofy and silly around her. Again, Kanwar and Alice had many late night talks between each other, and for a moment, it almost seemed as though it was just the two of them. In the beginning, they still kept a comfortable distance between each other, but now, they are sitting side by side with Alice leaning on Kanwar's bicep as they fell asleep to the calm starry night.
—Even though they didn't explicitly talk about dating each other, there was silent communication about taking the next step, but both of them were stubborn to make the first step. Kanwar waited for Alice to make the first step, and Alice waited for Kanwar to make the first step. Eventually, Alice hinted she was fine with the relationship by first posting "This human is all hearts" on May 17 and by wearing Kanwar's orange shirt, and Kanwar proposed the following day with a rose
I imagine the official proposal happened May 21. Why do I think that? Because:
—On May 23rd, she posted: "And the road not taken looks real good now" perhaps signalling she was happy with her decision about taking her friendship with Kanwar to the next level
—Later that day, she posted, "Amen!" to the quote "Tonight you will tell yourself only Love stories. You have to feed sweet dreams." And I can only imagine she posted that after Kanwar and her had their first official date night in Bikaneer with candles, roses, and some good food.
Anyway, I hope you're still with me and aren't bored.
—They set ground rules as to how they would announce their relationship. Both of them knew many failed relationships between co-stars, and they didn't want to give their fans false hope if they didn't work out, so they decided they would test trial their relationship for a few months before formerly announcing to the world KD style.
—Immediately after coming back, they are both separated from each other for the first time in a few months, and they truly realize just how much they love each other. Alice makes posts such as "Pyaar" and reposts a bunch of ShiVi content as her way of silently announcing to the world that this man means a lot to her. Meanwhile, Kanwar is a lot more secretive. He doesn't post on social media, but instead he visits her and brings her to his house so she could be loved by his family as well.
—Shiny's wedding was when they both decided to break protocol and announce to the world that they were together in their own special way. It wasn't an explicit confirmation, but it was a way to express themselves without being stressed. Simran's birthday party was another expression of their love, and as much as Alice wanted to keep this photo to herself, she couldn't help but show her boyfriend off to the world
—"P.S. It marks "something"" is Alice's silent way of confirming that May 21 was the day they got together, and August 21 was their three-month anniversary. And after that is the raksha bandhan posts where she ties a rakhi to Karan and Mohnish, but conviently skips over Kanwar (*cough* Understand Kanwar is my lover and not my brother *cough*)
Also, here's another theory, Alice is holding 8 roses in this picture when she talks about the "P.S. It marks "something"" special post. Let's assume Kanwar gave Alice a single red rose when he initially proposed. I imagine with each month anniversary, he would give double the amount of roses. So on May 21, he would give one rose. On June 21, he would give 2 roses. On July 21, he would give 4 roses, and on August 21, he would give 8 roses. The number of red roses signifies how many months it's been since they first started dating, and the pink and white roses signify the sweetness of Alice (pink roses) paired with the loyalty Kanwar is willing to give her (white roses). Sounds far fetched, but it sounded way too romantic of a theory for me not to share.
—After that is them just enjoying being in love with each other with their late night drives, dates, and balcony talks (I could get into those, but KDice already gave us that content, and I don't wish to make this post too long)
—They were strangely mum around the time of May 21, but I'm assuming both of them had a mini vacation to celebrate their first anniversary. They wrapped shoot on May 19th, left for a beach resort (since both of them enjoy the beach), and returned on May 23rd with Kanwar hinting at a return since he said Mumbai traffic was crazy. Though, do forgive me if I interpreted all of this incorrectly because I was busy and did not follow KDice as extensively during this period.
—22/7/22 marks when they formerly announced their relationship to the world. But, something must have happened for them to choose this date. I think they already discussed marriage, sometime between May 21 and June 21. As ML pointed out to me, Alice liked the "Roka karwado" comment made by a fan in this post making me think their families have already talked to each other. I don't think the actual roka ceremony happened yet, but I do think it is being planned currently, and instead of dropping the news during the roka ceremony, they decided to announce their relationship to the fans.
I'm thinking their actual roka/engagement ceremony will happen sometime between August—October, and I'm thinking the "My Natural Habitat" post was just Alice's way of expressing herself because she knew what was going to come.
As for their wedding, I imagine December will be around the time they marry each other. I genuinely see Alice becoming Alice Dhillon by Kanwar's next birthday, but I'm not too sure if it would happen by her birthday this year. I know she's super close to his mother, so I imagine the delay is a mix of wanting the perfect wedding, involving both her mother in law and her mother in the wedding, and enjoying all the time she can to be Kanwar's girlfriend before it finally changes over to Kanwar's wife.
Either way, I think the 22/7/22 was a special moment for both of them and it signifies some sort of turning point in their relationship.
