Maine bhi yehi socha! Cloth bags are the best! Paper> tree cut>O2 levels, heat, carbon foot print, etc.

However, I'll give him some slack. If customers don't bring bag and they have to provide it, they can provide paper bag!

Now, they an sell a cloth/reusable bag like some grocery stores do here at small cost. However, it's not worth it for them from cost-benefit analysis. Cloth would cost more than paper. And as a middle class store with many customers from middle class, they probably don't want to pay a bit extra (difference to break even with reusable bag vs paper bag) for a bag to carry groceries. They can always encourage reusable bags in store so the customers don't have to pay anything on the bag.

And I'll assume they use all recycled paper.

Lol that's my defense. He was terrible yesterday, but give the guy some slack today. He was better than others because all other things, even rishitas origami, would go in trash after it collected dust.
