But in the real world, it's the opposite. Men and women especially in rural areas and in interior villages still think women are responsible for determining the sex of the baby and whenever a girl child is born, the mother, the new born, mother's family all pay the consequences.

One thing though it is futile to expect anything logical from ITV writers because they are conditioned to look at the ratings and nothing else. So to get the desired numbers they will do anything and show any crap. But we have to wait and watch if they really succeed.

There are only a handful of shows that have substance and really give importance to social messages and general awareness about issues. You can literally count them.

This is not same as the 90s we grew up in where shows were at a much much higher caliber.

I've seen it myself. In fact if you ask around you will find most women with kids telling you they've had miscarriages (early or late) at least once. It's more common than you think.

And in this case - this is the first time Dhara got pregnant, so how come this is the last time she'll ever conceive?

See I watched this movie - Good Newzz which I thought was stupid at the time but now even that premise looks more believable because both were undergoing IVF at the same time and their embryos got switched since their last names were same. Yahan toh ye poori ki poori saazish hai. Everyone is involved - ward boys, doctors, nurses. yahan tak ki aag tak lag chuki hai hospital mein 🤪- still don't get the purpose of that!

I watched Mimi helmed by Kriti Sanon, they showed her as a virgin undergoing surrogacy, which is totally against surrogacy rules anywhere in the World😕

Im not sure why she cannot conceive again, considering the doctor didn't really specify a reason for her not being able to fall pregnant again during the first pregnancy track. If it was her uterus, she'd need to look at surrogacy,since her body cannot sustain the full pregnancy. if it was her eggs, again I'm not sure how feasible ivf would be, whereas if it was anything else, wouldn't she be considered high risk and be put in care?
