Part-2

Scene-1

" Kiska phone tha? " Raavi asked as shiva entered the room.

" Kya?" Shiva asked

" Tu abhi upar kisise baat kar raha tha na? " She asked again.

" Hann.woh..kuch khass nahi hai.store ke maal ke baare mai baat ho rahi thi " shiva said

He didn't want to lie to her but he didn't want to upset her over something that doesn't matter.he didn't want to do any mistakes now.he almost lost her due to his foolishness, not again.

Shiva came and slept besides her. Raavi had asked him to move in with her to the bedroom a few months back.at first they didn't face each other while sleeping, gradually they held hands and since a few days shiva would cuddle raavi from the back and she would place her hands on top of his or she would sleep on his arm snuggling into his chest.

Raavi switched off the lights and slept turning the other side.

Shiva held her waist and drifted off to sleep. Raavi couldn't sleep. She needed to know what is going on.she looked at him to see that he was fast asleep.she slowly removed his hands and checked his phone.her worst fear came true. He had called her. He had called her at night and sneaked away to talk to her and even lied about it.is her maasi right this time? She had been a fool before, she had misunderstood people before.is she doing so now?

She lied on the bed but sleep was faraway from her eyes.

The next morning raavi was making breakfast when shiva entered playfully whistling.

" Kya baat hai chipkali. Bahut sahi khusboo aa rahi hai. " He said and started to make the tea. Helping her casually in the kitchen was a habit of his now.they have had some of the best conversations in the kitchen.

" Normal sandwich hi bana rahi hu. Roz to wohi bante hai." Raavi said not looking at him.

"Sandwiches baad mai bana lena, pehle chai pee le " shiva said giving her the cup.he had also learnt to make masala chai like her.he would sometimes make it for both of them.he was on cloud nine when dhara bhabi had complemented him once that he made better masala chai than raavi. He had a gala time teasing his chipkali.

Raavi took the cup and started drinking.

" Kya baat hai ? Aaj bahut khush lag raha hai. " She asked

" Khush to hu. Ab biwi mayke jaye to kaun sa pati khushi nahi hoga? " He said playfully.

" Bahut jaldi hai mujhe bhagane ki " raavi said sadly.

Shiva didn't understand what she meant but he was happy because with raavi gone he can plan with Rishita and Krish the surprise. He was really nervous and wanted everything to be perfect.he had to prepare what he will say and had to complete without stuttering. This maamikibehenkibeti was the only one who can make him tongue tied.

" Bilkul hai, kuch dino ki shanti jo milegi mujhe teri chappar chappar se " he said smiling

" Accha chal, ab mai dukaan nikalta hu.mujhe call kar dena Jab tujhe jaana hoga.mai chod dunga " he said and left picking up a sandwich.

Scene-2

Shiva came at night to their room.

" Kya baat hai chipkali? Tu aaj gayi nahi? Tera mann tha na " he asked

" Dhara bhabi ivf ke liye check up karwane jayegi kal doctor ke paas.rishita ko bhi job interview ke liye jaana hai. Kaki ke paas kaun rahega? Mai baad mai chali jaungi " raavi said while arranging the bed.

" Ohh " Shiva's face fell.he had thought to plan something today but how will he do it now without raavi doubting him?

Raavi noticed his reaction but didn't say anything.

" Chal tu sojaa, mujhe kuch kaam niptana hai " he said and rushed out thankful that she didn't ask anything.

Scene-2

" Bhabi, yeh sab kuch zyada taamjhaam nahi ho jayega." Shiva asked unsure

" Kya taamjhaam shiva? Ek table, do chair, kuch balloons aur flowers.ab tum raavi ke liye itna bhi nahi kar sakte? " Rishita said showing him the venue which was a private lawn in a hotel which was owned by one of her friend's father.

" Aisi baat nahi hai bhabi. Bas thoda ajeeb sa lag raha hai.jaise kuch bura hoga " he said unsure.

" Shiva, har ladki chahti hai ki uska partner use special feel karaye, uske liye kuch khass kare.trust me raavi ko yeh bahut accha lagega " she assured him

" Woh sab to thik hai bhabi par agar shiva wahaan par jaake sirf khana khakar chala aya to? Sirf khana nahi khana bhai, apne dil ki baat bhi bolna " Krish came teasing him

" Teri to, ruk.bahut zabaan chalne lagi hai teri." He said and ran around him.

" Ruko tum dono.baitho. dekho shiva, sahi Ambience to jam gaya.par sahi shabd tumhe jamane hai.usme hum tumhari koi madad nahi kar sakte " Rishita said

" Mai to bolta hu ki tu ek paper mai likh le ki tujhe bhabi ko kya bolna hai. Aur use ratt kar jaa, jaise bachpan Mai hum speech ratte the " Krish said

Shiva frowned and put his hands on his head.

Scene-3

" Dekh raavi, mai jaanta hu ki hamari shaadi Jin halato mai huyi, usme pyar dhundna mushkil tha.par tere saath mujhe.." shiva sighed as he fumbled again looking at the Mirror.

" Dekh gadhedi.mujhe yeh filmy baatein nahi aati.islye seedhe seedhe bol raha hu..." shiva stopped

Kya shiva? Dil ki baat bolna hai, darana nahi hai use.

" Tere liye mai kya mehsoos karta hu yeh chand shabdo Mai keh pana mere liye bahut mushkil hai.shayad woh lafz bane hi nahi hai jo yeh samjha paye ki tu mere liye kya maayne rakhti hai " he said and sighed. This was getting more difficult that he had imagined.

Scene-4

Raavi sat in the angan sipping her tea.she didn't get any sleep yesterday night either.shiva had sneaked in late at night and hugged her. He went to the shop early morning and they didn't talk much today. Shiva would usually help her out in the kitchen but he was preoccupied today on his phone.she had to talk to someone or the anxiety and sleepless nights would drive her crazy.her maasima hated shiva blindly, dhara di loved shiva blindly.she had to talk to someone else.

Rishita came with a dejected look and sat besides raavi.

" Yeh job bhi nahi mili " she said

" Mil jayegi Rishita.tum bas haar mat mano " raavi assured her and poured out some tea for her.

" Ek baat puchu rishita? " Raavi asked

" Pucho na " she said

" Kya tum dev par bharosa karti ho? Matlab agar tumhe aakar koi kahe ki dev tumhe dhoka de raha hai to tum kya karogi? " Raavi asked unsure

" Kya? Achanak yeh sab kyu Puch rahi ho? " Rishita asked suspiciously

" Woh..mera ek friend hai jiska Husband use dhoka de raha hai.maine use batane ki koshish ki par use apne pati par pura bharosa hai.manne ko taiyar hi nahi hai " she said

" Of course mai dev par bharosa karti hu. Aur agar mujhe koi bole ki woh mujhe dhoka de raha hai to mai nahi manungi Jab tak koi solid proof na ho.par Han, mai sach janne ki kosish zaroor karungi. Vishwas acchi baat hai raavi par andhvishwas nahi." Rishita said

Raavi became thoughtful as she listened to her.

Scene- 5

Raavi sat in her room trying to read a magazine but her thoughts drifted to her maasis and Rishitas words.was she actually being a fool and being too happy too soon? They were still a couple on the verge of divorce, shiva has not said that he loves Her, he is still talking with the girl who said she will wait for him.what does all this mean? Should she just ask her if he loves her or not?

Shiva entered and smiled at her, kept his phone on the bed and headed out to take a shower taking his clothes.

His phone rang.

Xyz hotel

She was curious.why was xyz hotel calling shiva? They rarely ate outside food and their business has nothing to do with hotels.

" Hello " she answered

" Mai xyz hotel se bol raha hu. Aapki booking confirm karne ke liye call kiya tha.mr pandya ke naam par hamara private lawn booked hai kal raat ko " he said

Shiva came and snatched the phone from her.

" Kya kar rahi hai? Kiska phone tha? " He asked looking at the Phone.

" Pata nahi.kat gaya." Raavi replied in a state of daze.

Shiva sighed in relief.had he been a minute late his surprise would have been spoilt. How stupid was he keeping the phone here? He went outside to call back the hotel.

What just happened? Raavi stood up and stumbled a bit.

Vishwas karna thik hai. Par andhvishwas nahi.

Rishitas words echoed in her ears.

Scene-6

It was morning and raavi was making tea.shiva came in and helped her arrange the cups and poured tea into it.

" Aaj shaam ko mujhe maasi ke yahaan jaana hai. Chod dega? " Raavi asked

" Aaj shaam? Aaj shaam ko to mujhe kaam hai. Tu aaj mat jaa na. Kal subah chali jaana.mai tujhe chod dunga " shiva said tensed

Agar yeh gadhedi maami ke yahaan chali gayi to mere surprise ka popat ban jayega

"Kya kaam hai shiva? " Raavi asked

" Woh..bahut din ho gaye apne dosto se nahi mila. To aaj shaam ka plan set kar diya unke saath " shiva said

" Kaun dost? " Raavi asked again looking straight into his eyes

" Kaun dost matlab? Wohi mere bachpan ki paltan. Pintu aur sudesh. " Shiva said

" Tu kya aise biwi biwi khel rahi hai? Mai ab dukaan nikalta hu " he said and went away

Bach gaya shiva.accha bahana dhunda tune.

Scene-7

" Hann shiva, mai shaam ko raavi ko acche se ready karke tumhare paas bhej dungi. Ab kaise bhejungi woh tum mujhpar chod do. Tum arrangements par concentrate karo " Rishita assured shiva on phone

" Ji bhabi " shiva said and cut the call.

" Accha sun, woh red velvet pastry chahiye dessert mai. " Shiva said the guy

He checked the decorations. It was beautiful.a lawn with a tent in the middle where a table for two was set. There were flowers and balloons in the sides.

Shaam ko lights ke saath aur bhi khoobsurat lagega yeh sab. Bas aaj mai raavi ko apne dil ki baat bol pau.

Shiva rubbed his hands in nervousness and excitement.

Scene-8

" Hello pintu.aaj shaam ko tu shiva ke saath bahaar jaa raha hai na? " Raavi asked unsure.she thought a lot of she should call his friend or not.it would seem inappropriate but she couldn't help it.she needed to know the reason behind his lies.

" Nahi raavi.mai to shehar se bahaar aya hu kuch kaam se." He replied

" Accha.sorry, mujhe laga tum logo ka aaj plan hai. Woh shiva ka phone nahi lag raha tha na, to maine tujhe call kar diya." She said and cur the call.

Kyu shiva? Itna bada dhoka? Itna jhoot? Kya tu sach mai hamare rishte ko nahi maanta?

She sobbed holding her pillow. She would be a fool if she trusted him after all this.

Scene-9

" Raavi" Rishita came shouting into her room holding a red saree but she was nowhere to be seen.

" Yeh raavi kahaan chali gayi? " She thought

She searched the whole house but she was nowhere to be seen. She looked around worried.

I love this Pixie.. The progression of misunderstanding is great. Shiva has been quiet a lot of times when he should have spoken up. And it had to work against him at some point of time.

I hope he helps her understand and makes her believe instead of blaming it all on her again or letting his mother do so

Oh no! Did Raavi go to her Maasi's place? I understand why she mistrusted him, still on the verge of divorce, all the pressure from her Maasi plus the very obvious lies! And I also get that she did indirectly try to ask him, but she never confronted him seriously about it! I'll wait for the next part before saying anything more about this, though...

Also, Shiva should have told her the truth about the phone call with Disha. Really.

That is exactly what I want to bring out in this story.even though things are somewhat ok between them, many things are unsaid.raavi has strong reasons to feel Insecure.

You have to wait for the next update to see what raavi does. Shiva should have told her the truth and raavi should have confronted shiva about Disha more directly. That has always been their problem. Miscommunication.they need words, sometimes actions aren't enough.

I was hookked up from starting to end...........
