Riya!! I cant believe it is almost the end of the week and I am just getting round to commenting!! FORGIVE!

Starting off with Chapter 8 Part 1

Before you posted this, I was imagining all the different scenarios that could potentially happen and I was so happy to see that you had gone down the sensible path of the family having a discussion (A long one) but at least they talked it out. Communication is so important and you've shown that it is the most important when it comes to solving problems (Yes ITV needs the drama of miscommunication and keeping things to themselves so fics satisfy my very sensible needs!)

Shiva's feeling for Disha (throwing her out like a sack of potatoes 😆) is also a pleasant surprise!! But Suman's stuck on her and Shiva still. At least she thought about Raavi's feelings and briefly entertained the idea of Shiva and Raavi together. There is some hope that she will be accepting of the relationship!

Shiva's worry that Suman is going to get Raavi married off to someone else is so palpable (Obviously since Krish can see & feel it) and then you took my whole heart with Shiva's explanation to Suman about marrying her off without asking. That whole conversation was so sweet to read, how he explains his opinions to his mother, her stubbornness and iron will moving towards understanding and then the family jumping in to help Shiva make her realise that she is important in their lives!

And oh the awkwardness of Shiva trying to cover up his want to tell Raavi about the relationship...I laughed out at the time and got strange looks from the Mr. Krish in any fic is always a pleasure to read and you have maintained his essence so well in this too!

I'm so glad that Dev and Rishita will have a proper wedding, with approval from both families ... It gives them a cute love story vibe. And, amidst all that, Shiva is thinking of Raavi and her bucket list ( I low key got a dreadful feeling that this might not turn out well, taking her list without asking her).

He takes her to the theatre at midnight to watch a tacky movie without a ticket is 🤣. He so casually slipped Dev and Rishita's wedding announcement in the conversation. Her doubting and not giving it much thought gives us a glimpse of the bimbo from the start on the bike ride before she catches on...

The conversation with him pretending to be Mami is hilarious!! And she wants to do the same things that he does!! Maybe they can do it together (another fic from you then?? YES PLEASE!)

The best is seeing Raavi's feeling growing just as much as Shiva's are. Now if only they would talk it out!! Oh well onto the next part!!

Okay so coming to part 2 of the update (I'm so glad you posted both together because I was seriously not anticipating the first one finishing so quick, although so much progress did happen!)

The description of the Christmas party made me feel like I was watching over them in winter wonderland!! Shiva the ever popular Casanova , in demand with both the peers and Aunties 😆. I love how he tries to avoid them, but just misses. I found it hilarious reading how uncomfortable he was that I read it twice before I moved on.

The description of Raavi through Shiva's eyes was stunning as was Shiva's look to Raavi! And Raavi feeling self conscious was so cute, I wanted to give her a hug. I wait till the confidence is back!

He makes her sing!! Another one of her bucket list items!! Omg and the song choice is so apt...Chura liya!! haaye!! he sings with her too, supporting her, but making her shine in the limelight is adorable! He knew how to get her to sing too...not giving her a choice and telling her to focus only on him! Her exhilaration on the performance was contagious and I felt so proud of her.

Then the mood shifts all of a sudden and we have the undercurrent of desire back in full force. No matter how much they try, it will be there, playing with them, their wants and needs. Even between the joking, her insecurity takes a peek too with him rejecting the kiss under the misletoe, until he explains why (Hello...Cold shower I'm coming for you!!), the lust peaks and HOW! But Shiva's control deserves applause, he gives her a gentle kiss, one he thinks she deserves, not the madness that he has within him until she mocks him. And then you lit my screen on fire Riya darling!! (I have no words to express how good that piece was!)

Again ever the gentleman Shiva asking her to tell him to stop and she doesnt so he does the most awful thing I've read on here till now..he mentions the list and I was like ooh no!! don't do that, don't break her heart like that. He turns it into an almost joke and the whole interaction left me feeling bad for them both, unable to tell each other their true feelings, unable to leave each other, yet challenging each other to a battle of wits!

Okay I couldn't resist. I needed to put this down as I was reading the chapter (I realised that I hadn't read it when I couldn't remember what had happened!! Oh my days!! I am definitely losing the plot!)

Repentance. Okay this is good. He is thinking of her and getting worked up with his actions! As you should Mr. Pandya!! How dare you do that to the poor girl!! And FINALLY!! There is acceptance that he had fallen in love with her. I'm so so glad that it was when he was kissing her that he realised that the feelings he had for her ran deep. Also I feel like the essence of Shiva feeling as though he is not worth Raavi is so like what has been shown on the show that it isn't hard to picture! And he wants her to be happy because it makes him happy to see her that way, yet he thinks he's not perfect for her...duffer!

Also I dont know what 7 & 8 is but how is he going to let any other person complete that on her list is beyond me (please dont take this as a challenge and change anything you've written!) yet he will help her complete the whole list. Just with how angry I was at him breaking her heart in the previous episode, I feel bad for him in this one! Oh how difficult it is to swing between the two dum dums!

The bit where he compares himself to darkness and her to light was very touching. He treats her like a fragile doll who deserves the best in the world and even though it will break his heart (and mine a little because...chemistry and shivi is end game) he will do it. I hope Raavi shoots down this notion of his. His apology is sweet. Making one of her bucket list wish come true and apologising at the same time..kill two birds with one stone. Also email..Is he going to do something stupid like go away? Please tell me not..since you are finishing off with the last chapter!

Raavi's thoughts on having fallen in love with Shiva is chaos, confusion, panic and the defeated acceptance that there is nothing she can do about falling in love with an idiot who refused to accept her feelings (and his own), replaying every second that they spent together analysing what exactly had happened. (Can I please shake her!!!)And just as quick as she had gotten angry, she melts when he sings for her and the note he sends! (Why do I get a sinking feeling this is going to be a disaster?) She's so excited to go to a ball with him (Her wishes are so simple that it is impossible for shiva to not fulfill them!! I have stars in my eyes...awww cute running through my head as I was reading that).

Okay WHAT??? Tushar?? Is this the same Tushar who owns the gym where Shiva and Raavi have had not one but two almost make out sessions?? Why???Shiva..She was ogling at YOU!!! and you were obviously checking her out!! (Omg why are they so dumb!) oh no!! Raavi feels humiliated and its completely justified and good for him for feeling like a little SH**.

Your description of the ball is making me jealous, since I have never been to such a formal event myself and I want to go to one now. Raavi is popular and I love how Shiva has contrasting feelings for her being in demand for a dance. (He obviously doesn't realise that he's acting like a typical partner!) And the burn from Dev was too good!!! "I have the love of my life dancing in my arms, not in someone else's!" The kind hearted Shiva who danced with the lonely girl (I wonder what Raavi thought of that?) and making sure she had a partner for all her dances was so sweet.

And just like that Shiva helps fulfill two of her bucket list items!! She is the most beautiful in the room. I love how you've shown that in his eyes she is the most beautiful, yet he is glad that she got the validation from a room full of people that were mostly strangers and then at the other end you have Raavi realising that she never needed the acceptance of beauty from strangers because of her insecurities, instead she had always felt that way with Shiva, the one person who has probably never verbally told her, yet his looks betray his thoughts every single time! (Also now I want to go read the whole thing from the first part!)

The implication of their conversation after is so meaningful. They are sharing all these intimate details of themselves with the other, which is more than they probably have done in their whole lives. Her push for an answer about the kiss and Shiva finally.. FINALLY.. telling her in not so many words why he did and she falls for him even more( I have stars in my eyes!! Wow!!) and so emotionally overwhelmed that she cries (my poor baby). Till she realises that she is going to have to be the one that is chasing him and making him lose control but he doesn't want to even dance with her? (she has her work cut out for her)
