This is just my interpretation of the scene...

To me, it seemed like he was overwhelmed with a lot of emotions. The past couple of days had been emotionally taxing for both him and Raavi, and he has come to witness that Raavi is getting affected by all that is happening. It's kind of like he is stuck in limbo. He has lots to say but at the same time, he still isn't sure how to proceed. Maybe, he would've preferred to pour his heart if his feelings were weighing him down, but the laal-ishq moment they experienced together left him speechless and drowning in a pool of emotions that he doesn't know how to express. Which is why he settled for a thank you. Usually, they would just fight and because of this, such formal words never made an entry into their relationship. But that scene showed Raavi doing something nice for him and it probably buried him under a mountain of sensations coursing through his body. He didn't have a reason to argue then; he didn't want to either. He probably buried the words that were begging to escape his lips deep within and expressed his gratitude with a thank you - maybe this thank you could also be one for her doing all that she does for his family; he just used this moment as a guise. Guess we'll never know because no other monologue was provided.

Another way to maybe interpret it would be to show that they've grown a little bit from the children they were to a more adult-phase of their life. It could hint at how they realize that they need to tone down the fights and appreciate each other more. Of course, some of their actions are still very childish, but that's just how they are. Saying thank you wasn't necessarily a bad thing either. Raavi's reaction towards it was very soft and subtle. I think she appreciated it probably because it came from him. Seemed like a step forward. Unlike that time when he said 'please' to her and she got upset.

Hello everyone,

I know everyone is pissed of at him becoming a bhim version of dev. But ruko jara, sabar karo, chobeyyyyy log kuch aisa likhenge ki iski sari chup rehne wali memories wash off ho jayegi.

Personally I dont think shiva has hit that low, dev knew rishita loves him, he still chose to breakup on her face due to Jaanu and Motiben.

Shiva clearly sees raavi separate from maami, at times he has kept shut when I expected him to just blast. (Jeera kaand, oli bharna rasm). There were times where he had hit below the belt, I just want to see his reactions knowing raavi loves him. Shiva as a character needs a lot of growth.

Infact a massive diff b/w shiva family members and raavi is that even if shiva does extreme things, raavi reacts extremely and it bothers shiva a lot. But she is always the one who forgets it like it never happened. They have a very strange form of acceptance.

There are times when I just want raavi to find someone else but then something happens and I am like heart eyes.

Shiva raavi ka Junnon ghar hai.

Raavi shiva ki Sukoon ghar hai.

Aur kuch bhi ho jaye, insan apna ghar kabhi ni chorta. Irritate hota hai par lautke wahi aata hai 😆

Difference b/w please and thank you scene.

Please scene mein shiva hara hua tha. Sarr ni jhukata wo ladka, uske indifferent tone se jyada shiva aisa alag alag sa jyada hurt kiya raavi ko acc to me.

In thank you scene, shiva is literally everything raavi wanted from Baspan🤪Usko dev se toh shadi hi isliye karni thi ki shiva accept kare usey. She is so happy on listening Thank you. I love you sunke toh 1000 orgasmic experience se hi wapas aayegi apni dobi.

Of course not! If the push comes to shove, he will dig in his heels....unless it becomes about ego and farak padta hai games. Even then, it will still be about Raavi because she's his trigger point. So she will have to be brave enough to make the first move. That's how they've visibly built-up the story since diary kaand.

Remember Dhara's dialogue to Disu that ab Raavi ke haath mein agar woh Shiva ko jaane deti hai ya nahi??? Imo, it was more about how Raavi has the power in this relationship than her responsibility to save her marriage. Its more that now Raavi gets to decide what happens in this relationship. Shiva ne saare kaand kar liye, ab Raavi ki marzi hogi.

Jab tak Raavi doesn't make any forceful moves, Shiva will continue to have his head buried in the sand. Its like he thinks that if he ignores them long enough, they'll go away.

Abb Dev ko koi nahi bhaav deta, Raavi ko hi karna pad raha hai😆

Disha ne sabka dasha badal diya🤣

ye mje smj ni ata…when they showed Raavi’s hesitation around Dev during her bday celebration.. that was so on point… yes she forgave him… yes they are back to being friends… but is it possible for her to be that comfortable around Dev fixing his hair and makeup instead of Rishita when he is the one who spoiled her life in a way…

I think they have acquitted Dev from all of his guilt.. and sole responsibility is on Dhara for getting her married to Shiva..

Also why Dev is missing so much from the sets nowadays? he was missing earlier .. then came for ramleea sequence and now again off.. why so? when the next kaand is the brainchild of his wife Rishita..

Agreed! She was happy listening to it which is why the thank you imo wasn't a bad thing. Her eyes held softness towards him. She expressed wonder at the moment; something along the lines of "yeh wahi shiva hai jo mujhse theek se baat nahi karta tha, but aaj khud mujhe thank you bol raha hai"

The 'please' from atta scene also affected her badly because that's just not how their relationship was. When the time would come, both would do anything for each other and a 'please' would never make an appearance because it was an innate reaction of theirs to one another. They need not say 'please' to make each other do something.

The thank-you instead made her feel appreciated; made her feel special, especially when it came from him, and especially because no one else has said those words to her despite her doing so much for the family.

I very much liked the 'thank-you. I know some people weren't happy with it but there are various positive ways to interpret it.
