After a long moment, Raavi gathered enough strength to let go of Shiva. Shiva felt the movement and loosened his arms around her but continued to hold on to her. She looked at him, into his eyes that were worried for her. She didn't want to move away from him. She wanted to bury herself in his arms again; forever. But she knew that if she didn't step back now, she won't ever be able to and she just couldn't face the fear of what would happen if her heart broke again. And so, against her heart's cries and pleas, she lowered his arms and gently moved away. Still shaking, she held on to the kitchen island and stood up. She was still a little dizzy and had trouble breathing.

Shiva hated seeing Raavi move away. She was still trembling and out of breath. But he didn't try to stop her. Instead, he got up with her and held her when she swayed due to dizziness. He wasn't sure what happened to her and was worried for her health.

Holding her steady he said, "Chal room mein chal ke aaram kar le. Mein doctor ko bulata hu."

Raavi looked into his concerned eyes and wanted to hug him again but she steadied herself and said, "Doctor ki koi zaroorat nahi hai. Mein theek hu!"

"Kya theek hai? Tu khadi nahi reh pa rahi, saans lene mein tujhe takleef ho rahi hai, chakkar aa rahe hai tujhe, aur bol rahi hai k tu theek hai? Chup chaap chal kamre mein zyaada naatak matt kar." Shiva scolded her lightly.

Raavi was instantly reminded of how sweetly and respectfully he was talking with the new girl and how rudely he was talking to her. She snatched her hand back angrily and said, "Tujhe meri fikar karne ki koi zaroorat nahi hai. Tu baahar ja. Teri Ma aur unki Dishu tera wait kar rahe honge. Apna khayaal mein khud rakh lungi!"

Shiva was shocked that even in this state, she was acting out of jealousy! He didn't want to get mad at her so he took a deep breath and grabbed her hand again and said, "Dekh, iss waqt teri sehat zyaada important hai. Chal!"

Raavi took a deep breath, too and took her hand back. She steadied herself again and said, "Meri sehat bilkul theek hai. Tu baahar ja. Kaki tujhe dundh rahi hogi!" With that she grabbed the broom and carefully started cleaning the broken glass from the floor.

Seeing Raavi so dejected and shaken broke Shiva's heart. He bent down next to her and held her hand again. Raavi tried snatching it back but this time Shiva tightened his grip.

Frustrated, she said, "Shiva please! Chod de mujhe mere haal pe. Chala ja yahan se! Ab aur handle nahi hoga mujhse! Mein ab aur tere paas nahi reh sakti!"

Shiva was taken aback! He sat down in front of her and asked, "Kyun? Abhi thodi der pehle toh tu mere baahon mein aaram se baithi thi! Toh ab kya ho gaya?"

Raavi looked at him and couldn't stop her tears. In an instant she relived all their beautiful moments. And then came the bad ones that shattered her heart all over again.

Shiva asked again, "Batana Raavi! Kyun nahi reh sakti mere paas?"

His voice was full of anger and pain. She couldn't control now. Still teary eyed, she forcefully snatched her arms from his grip and got up.

"Kyun ki mein bhool gayi thi ke tere iss ghar mein, teri zindagi mein, tere dil mein mere liye koi jagah nahi hai! Bhool gayi thi ke tujhe mujhse azaadi chahiye. Tune kaha tha na ke agar mujhe mere dost itane pasand hai toh mujhe unke saath chale jaana chahiye? Toh ab agar tujhe woh Disha itani pasand hai toh tu kyun nahi chala jaata uske paas?" She blurted out in anger.

Shiva was shocked and outraged as he got up to confront her but she didn't give him a chance and said, "Ya fir tu yeh chahta hai ke teri Ma tujhe mere saath dekhe aur mujhe aur taane maare? Khud meri itani insult karke tera pet nahi bhara ke tu meri aur beizzati hote dekhna chahta hai?"

Anger started boiling in Shiva's heart but he tried hard to stay calm and tried to explain, "Dekh Raavi, Disha ke hone na hone se koi farq nahi padta. Aur Ma ... "

"Lekin mujhe padta hai!" Raavi said in a fit of rage.

Shiva lost his cool, grabbed her, and asked, "Kyun? Kyun farq padta hai tujhe? Tujhe mujh pe bharosa nahi hai?"

She gathered all her strength and pushed him away as she asked, "Tujhe tha mujh pe bharosa jab tune mere character pe sawaal uthaaya tha? Mujhe tujh pe aankh bandh karke bharosa karna hai, mujhe hi tujhe samjhna hai, aur mujhe hi yeh rishta sambhaal na hai! Teri koi responsibility nahi banti? Sab ne milke sirf mujhe taane maare ki mein tujhe samajh nahi paayi, ek acchi biwi nahi ban paayi, apni shaadi nahi sambhaal paayi.. kya yeh shaadi meri akeli ki thi? Maine akele phere liye the? Tu tha na mere saath toh fir iss rishte ka saara bojh sirf mujhpe kyu laada ja raha hai? Teri Ma sirf mujhe suna rahi hai ke mein talaaq-talaaq kar rahi hu.. par woh yeh kitani asaani se bhul gai ke puri duniya ke saamne mere character pe ungali tune uthaayi thi aur divorce papers bhi tune hi bheje the. Teri har galti maaf hai par mere liye sazaaon ka silsila khatam hi nahi ho raha! Kyun Shiva? Aisa bhi kya kar diya maine ki koi meri izzat tak nahi karta?"

Out of breath again, Raavi was about to collapse when Shiva caught her. She looked at him with exhausted eyes and Shiva felt so helpless. Shiva realized, for the first time, how much Raavi had suffered at his and his family's hands. "Raavi please! Tujhe jitana gussa karna hai baad mein kar lena. Abhi ke liye please room mein chal aur mujhe doctor ko bulaane de!" He pleaded.

Raavi again released herself from his grip and sat down on a nearby step. She took a deep breath and said, "Maine iss ghar ko, iss parivaar ko, mujh mein jitana tha utana saara pyaar diya. Maine hamaare rishte ko bhi nibhaane ki puri koshish ki par meri koshish hamesha hi kam pad gayi! Aur Disha ko aaye do pal nahi huye aur sabki aankho ka taara ban gayi woh!" Her voice trembled a little as she added, "Aaj mujhe samajh aa gaya ke iss ghar mein, iss parivaar mein meri kya aukaat hai! Aur yeh mein zindagi bhar nahi bhulungi!" She looked at Shiva with tears in her eyes and added, "Lekin agar tujhe sach mein woh pasand hai, toh mein tere raaste mein nahi aaungi! I promise!"

Hearing this, a heartbroken Shiva fell on his knees in front of her! He grabbed Raavi's hands and dropped his head in her lap and cried. "I am sorry Raavi! ... "

Love raavi's outburst

Yet another lovely update! Hope Raavi is able to take a firm decision. It looks like whatever she does is inadequate and heartbreaking to se go through misery. Hope things turn out good for her in the next chapter.

Good going, poor soul has so much going on inside of her, one hug cannot erase everything.

I line how there is a push and pull for now.
