Raavi was lost in Shiva. She had never felt more peaceful in her entire life. She felt safe in his arms and couldn't imagine any other place to be but here! Shiva's heartbeat felt like a beautiful lullaby that spread serenity in her heart. He was gently cradling her body and she could feel that he was at peace, too. Throughout her life, Shiva had been a constant presence; not in a good way of course as he always fought with her and destroyed her peace of mind every chance he got. But even then, he always protected her. At first it was just chivalry but as time went on, she noticed that he genuinely cared about her.

When they first got married, she had expected her life to be miserable with a man who hated her the most. But she settled with him fairly quickly. Sure, they still fought, a LOT, but there was a connection between them that allowed her to move on with her married life. The little things Shiva did for her in his angry-young-man way made her realize that he wasn't as bad as he showed himself to be. The beautiful moments they shared in the Haveli were so precious! Everyday, since they got back, she longed to go back there because that big haveli felt like their own little world.

But soon, Raavi's paradise was threatened by insecurities and mistrust. She tried hard to pacify him and assure him that she wanted to start a life with him but she lost to his insecurities. And then came the moment that not only broke her heart but destroyed the little piece of heaven she had started building with him. Ever since she came back to the house, she was trying to keep calm around him. But even after everything that happened between them, every time he came close, her heart skipped a beat. A few moments they shared since she got back felt just as precious as their time at the Haveli. When he ate the eggplant prepared by her enthusiastically, she felt proud of herself; when he forcefully brought her to their room so she could sleep peacefully, she felt cherished; when he applied tika for her after she applied sindoor for him, she felt hopeful. But just as she started feeling happy again, Suman destroyed her happiness by talking about Shiva's second marriage. And now, seeing him, or even thinking of him being with someone else, just about killed her! Nestled in his arms now, she started feeling hopeful again and that scared her. She wouldn't be able to handle any more heartache and so, reluctantly, she opened her eyes but couldn't move away from him! One more minute, she told herself; just one more moment!

A little boy once saw his Maami ruining his family's happiness and decided in his little heart that he would never let anyone related to her come close to him or his loved ones. And thus started a journey of never-ending fights & hatred. Though the Maami stayed away from his family, her sister's little girl emotionally bonded herself to his family. He never liked that girl because she was related to his Maami. She was irritating and stupid who didn't know how to shut up. Now, when the girl was nestled in his arms as if he was her home, Shiva didn't want her to be so quiet!

Shiva had married Raavi for Dhara's sake. He still hated her and made that clear to Raavi on the first night itself. But in no time, something shifted in his heart and Raavi settled in. As upset as she was, Raavi still fulfilled her duties as his wife and the daughter-in-law of his house. She was angry on Dhara for getting her married to him but her love for his family never wavered. When they went to Haveli, he noticed her feeling comfortable with him and soon her anger went away and her smiled returned. It was there, that he first realized how beautiful she was both inside and out. The beautiful & mischievous nights & the crazy days they spent at the Haveli made him believe that his marriage could actually succeed. And then suddenly, he was at the verge of losing her. When the ceiling of the Khandar collapsed on them, Shiva saw Raavi slipping away. For the first time in his life, he felt like he would die; he would die if he lost her! The near death experience brought her closer to him and they started trusting each other. And when she stood up for him to her Maasi when he was wrongfully accused & fought for him, the wall he had built around his heart to keep her out broke. They stole glances at their reception and he wanted to tell her how he felt. Her smile said that she was going to listen but he couldn't bring himself to tell her about his feelings. And the next thing he knew, all hell broke loose.

Shiva never cared about what people thought of him. He was who he was and he liked it that way. But ever since Raavi came into his life, he started feeling out of place. Hearing her friends say that he wasn't worthy of her reminded him that Raavi never wanted to be with him. She wanted to marry Dev; she was going to marry Dev. The only reason she was with him, he had told himself, was because she had to. She didn't want to be with him and this realization broke his heart. He knew she was trying to make the marriage work. "Nayi yaadein banaate banaate puraani yaadei kab dhundali ho jaaegi humein pata bhi nahi chalega! Kam se kam dosti se toh shuruaat kar sakte hai na!", she had said. But he couldn't bring himself to be hopeful again. She still kept caring for him. No matter how many times he pushed her away, she kept looking out for him and coming towards him. Frustrated by not being able to control his feelings for her and his growing insecurities, he had done the unthinkable! He questioned her character and humiliated her in front of everyone. He hated himself for his actions but he convinced himself that it was too late to apologize and that it was best for her to leave him. To his surprise, even after all this, she was hesitant to sign the divorce papers he sent her. He had to scream and yell at this innocent girl to get her to separate from him so that she could move on and find a better life partner. But then, she came back!

She came to look after his Bhabhi! For his family, she left her self-respect aside and took care of everyone. She was so pure that even after facing numerous insults from him and his mother, she stayed put and fulfilled her responsibilities. And just like that, his heart belonged to her again. He didn't want to separate from her ever again but felt like it was too late! But today, he saw her anger coming out when he was introduced to the new girl. She was jealous! As filmy as it was, he liked seeing her being possessive about him! That gave him a new hope and he latched on to it as if his life depended on it. Holding her in his arms, Shiva felt that hope filling every corner of his heart & he wasn't going to let Raavi go ever again!
