What I can deduce:

—Agree with others, Alice Saraswat is her birth name, and she likely changed it to Kaushik due to professional reasons

—I don't know how it started, but she is not born in 1997. She is born in 1995/1996... I have evidence for both years... 1995 because her username once was @allyy95 and because she had #MyLittleSister for Siddhantika who is definitely born in 1996.... 1996 because in a video on November 2, 2020, she thanked a friend for making it to her 24th birthday party (should've been 25th if she was born in 1995 unless she considers herself a 1996'er because most her friends are born in 1996)... either way, 1997 is not her birth year... which makes Simran the youngest on set... hopefully Kanwar/Karan clarifies this in her upcoming birthday...

—She considers herself a Sagittarius even though she herself is a Scorpio 😂 I checked the horoscope compatibility and apparently Kanwar and her could only be friends (as a couple they would be a disaster 🤣) so hopefully she knows now that she is a Scorpio

—She and Akshay could have bonded initially over their modeling background, hence why he seemed so close to her and not Simran in the early days

I was surprised by her name initially, because both her first/last names aren't common names in our culture. Kaushik maybe her Dad's first name. 🤷🏽‍♀️

- I wonder if she decided to drop a year for some reason. What you said insinuates that she was born in 1995. But in one of Jethji's love, Kanwar said she will turn 25 this October. If she goes with it, then I think she's dropping a year for professional reason. Though don't know how that would matter🤷🏽‍♀️

Her father passed away very early in her childhood (as per what I can deduce), and she considers her Mother as her Mother and Father. I agree with you, Kaushik is not the typical last name... and it most definitely can be an ode to her father. On another note, her brother's name is quite Indian... as per an SBS segment, Alice mentioned her mother named her after Alice in Wonderland because she liked the name... so that explains that mystery and why KD keeps referring to her as Alice in Wonderland

Her birthday is one of the most confusing things ever 😆 I'll figure it out this year for sure! Think she is 1996, despite the @allyy95, because why would she forget how old she is? Plus, she goes to school with all these other 1996 kids. She met Siddhantika in 2012 which coincides with Inter First Year as she would've completed her 10th Exams in 2012.
