IMO, it’s still a mystery but possible explanation, it was intimidating to sleep in the same room with him when non of the other family members were around. She also said the other rooms will feel left out when one of them don’t sleep in those rooms. So she chose to sleep in the living room. Raavi shared a room with him in the haveli and later after everyone returned to Somnath. That was the only day she was out of their room.

Most of the times writers of this show don’t make any sense at all.

Even their sleeping pattern is quite a journey in this show.

1. Marriage night - Shiva ne paani daal diya

2. Haveli night - Raavi ne paani daal diya

3. Bhuth night - Raavi safety purpose k liye shiva ke pair pakar rahi, shiva knowing everything just teased her when she woke up.

4. Danda khelo night - Raavi arranging bed for him but ending in pillow fight.

5. Khandar kaand - How fast the night changes theme for both of them. Shiva felt something very strong. He for the first time needed her besides him ( not romantically, but safe). Next morning Shiva eyes has lingered on her lips for good 5 seconds.

6. Jeera kaand - Raavi was awkward, Shiva was awkward and hence slept separately. And just few hours ago Raavi eyes too have lingered on his lips for good 4 seconds. IDK why and how come these two cannot think about the tension. Both become so overwhelmed with the family love, they actually forgot these subtle moments.

Shiva did not even realize that though being a AAG BOY, raavi eyes intimidates him to a level where he does not say a word, just keep shaking his head.

7. Normal night - Pillows are gone, Shiva touched her as a husband or lover or something for the very first time. He touched her as if she was some doll. There I see raavi being shy and effected by him. Not for a single second, I believe she has analyzed her behavior, she herself does not know that she is drawn to him in strange ways but all she focused was NASHTA and some staring, later to say her famous dialouge " MAIN NI, YE SHIVA DEKH RAHA THA, KAR RAHA THA".

I sometime wonder ye pregnant bhi hogi aur dhara ya kisi ne 2 second ghura toh bhi ye dobi yahi bolegi. MAIN NI, SHIVA NE KARA DI. Godddddddd, I would pay anything to see Shiva's reaction on this.

8. Sneha Kaand Night - Pillows are gone, LOC has been cleared. She just changed her position. She was a real cutie patoti and I wanted her to annoy him for more 20 minutes, but alas they slept in opposite directions :(

9. Anita bani Chor kaand - She legit asked him to IDHAR MUH KARKE SONA, it was so typical hubby wifey vibe but Shiva was so immersed in insecurity and her innocence, he himself took this action as help. It was help, I agree but you cant ignore the vibe. It would have been so better if she would have just get CHIPAKKK to himmm like chipkaliiiii.

10. Makers ko do mukke, do laate SHIVI DECADE SEPARATION - Ye dono family mein itna khoye rahe hain ki realise hi ni kara ki inko ek sath bakwas, sometime meaningful convo like NAUKAR WALE KAAM (CHOICE WALA KAAM BABY) karke sone ki adat hai.

It was not some basic superficial arrangement, though it started like that only.

They could not even sleep, all they thought about was, each other. No pandya family, no pandya store.

Shiva gets called out a lot for his toxic masculinity all the time, and I am the first one to call him out.

Today his anger made him look like a feral animal, and it was scary but cancelling him while giving a leeway to all other violent beatings is behind me!

He has been beaten black and blue by every person, even for a prank. His wife walked out ad slapped him. He deserves all the punishment he is getting. No defense for his tomfoolery or toxicity!

His wife is divorcing him as calls him an animal. Aur kya punishment denge is admi ko.

He has to evolve and find his redemption. That's a journey he has to take.

Everyone in the show makes mistakes, and trust me I want it to be that way.perfect characters are boring to watch and unreal too.

But somehow shiva is always punished for his mistakes, he bears the consequences of it, both mentally and physically.

And everyone else gets a free pass.

I hope to see raavi's introspection and growth in this track, but somehow seeing his behaviour in the recent episodes I have a feeling this will be all about shivas guilt, regret, grovelling and Apology.

Dhara manipulates him but I can't help but love them and adore the affection that they share for each other

Hate is too strong a word! I don't hate any character in this show.

I'm still mad at her, probably will be forever but I can't forget that once upon a time, these two's platonic bond used to be one of my favorites. The vibes their bond used to exude was magical. It's not the same as before, and I don't think the makers can dig their way out of this, but this scene was nice.🥺

There are days when I am mad at Dhara, and then there days when I feel bad for her.

Thanks for tagging Piu 🤗 My thoughts pretty much mirror yours when it comes to this. I enjoy watching relationships and dynamics that go beyond the typical categories of romantic vs platonic. What Dhara and Shiva share is so hard to describe in words. I feel like they are soulmates but in a very non-cliched sense. Not how the word is usually used in canon.

Like you said, this journey was set from day one! Even without GauRa, these two would have found each other. It’s something Raavi and Gaumbi will never understand. I have written essays on them in the past 😆 Tho I have to admit the writers used to do a much better job with their scenes earlier… it used to be pure magic. Personally, I feel KD and Shiny light up the screen in ways no one else can on the show. Not even GauRa and ShiVi. They have an entirely different aura when standing in the same frame. Having said that, I still do enjoy their scenes. There are so many emotions that make up their scenes. Like you, I love their solo scenes. When it comes to GauRa and ShiVi, I don’t like them interfering or being mentioned in each other’s scenes. They share their own set of chemistry and aura.

I feel like Shiva and Dhara’s scenes always hold so much potential. It opens up the floor for discussion, debate and has so much depth… so much to analyze in every frame. My favorite scene will remain the hug right after Shiva forces Raavi to leave

In my opinion, another reason why people tend to connect or feel more for Shiva is that he is just a better written and stronger character than Raavi, not saying a better person, just that better written. Makers have shown what he is feeling at each stage of the story. Whether it's hatred for Ravi, however misplaced was explained. His feelings regarding the whatever happened at the wedding, more than Ravi he was shown to be angry at Dev. Even when it was shown that he was falling for Raavi, however at a fast paced, the makers showed what his feelings were. Even through this whole insecurity track they have shown his anger, detachment from Ravi, what he wants from the marriage, his feeling of insecurities, etc. His reasons for the divorce every action, right or wrong, have been explained. Along with that KD is a much stronger performer and able to bring all those nuances to the character which helps people connect with him.

The issue with Ravi is that while she may be a better person then Shiva, or she is an innocent bystander for all that has happened her thought process has never been explain, which is why it makes it difficult to connect with her. For example, it's not that she was angry at Shiva after the marriage, it's the fact that Dev didn't bear any resentment from her, no leftover feelings, why? didn’t she love him for 10 years, enough that she was willing to die for him, twice?.. Eve now she wasn't willing to stay with him, justified, but then why hoping he will apologise or why shocked with the divorce ? Was she willing to stay separated lifelong, but not divorced, or she would have returned if he apologised, & went back to sirf naam ka rishta. Shiva is clear, that he doesn't want to get back together, what does she want ?

- One thought after the episode, that Dhara mentions that Shiva should have tried to talk to Ravi, or tried to keep her happy, along with Shiva's over the top anger issues in the last 2 episodes, points to one way redemption...him & his anger will be held responsible, his regret will sweep in.. boom apology & patch up..

I can answer the why's. But I dunno how convincing will it be. Coz like u said , we have to read her mind through her actions ..

She regrets slapping Shiva in anger coz unlike Shiva, she doesn't believe in resorting to violence . Normally after a fight , when things cool down, the couple tries to patch up and apologize. When she confronted Shiva in front of the family, he again repeated that she must leave if she doesn't like him. She left. Had he apologized , probably she would be angry but never leave the house.

Again..she thought may be in a few days the family will try to explain him and he will apologize . But he sent the divorce papers. That day raavi blamed dhara bec dhara was the one who showed so much confidence in their relation n now her bacha initiated divorce. ...unlike Shiva, not everyone believes that marriage is some kind of joke ..kabhi bhi rishta joda jab mann kiya Tod diya. She did get a fleeting thought that if ever Shiva comes to her with apology, what will she do..but he again came n kicked her suhag ki nishani

.right on her doorstep🤢he shuts all the doors before she can open them.

To get a sensible reaction from raavi, a sensible action is required from shiva.

It wasn't naam ka rishta for her. She had lots of chances to leave post marriage but she refused . She believes that her relationship will start building up slow and steady . She wasn't expecting Magic in one day. But for that both the parties must be willing. She used the word compromise. I was a little miffed that day but now I think she was right..for shiva, if he wants it to be more than compromise, he needs to work more towards it bec he is the problem in their rishta.

I think we complain everyday that they rushed raavis forgiveness post marriage..like ..dev just vanished from her head one day ..they cud have used it as a foundation for shiva raavi future story..plus , she forgave Shiva too soon for kangan kaand..n now also she will come.bk to him, for that also ppl will blame her . Unfortunately.
