In these fewmonths Shiva had been a supporting husband, he did his best to make his wifecomfortable and ease her pain but there were days when he would again feelinsecure and not worthy enough to deserve Raavi but now he can’t voice them ashe can’t worry her with his insecurities.
Today Raavi gave itback to one of the mohalle ki aunties when they spoke ill about him but hedidn’t feel nice. He sat in the room thinking about all those things when heheard Raavi yelp in pain who was laying beside her.
‘Kya hua Raavi?’ Heasked worriedly.
‘Pain ho raha haiShiva.’ She spoke.
‘Kaha? Pair dard karrahe hai, ya body? Kaha ho raha hai bache?’ He asked simultaneously examiningher body.
Raavi took his handand kept on her chest over her heart ‘yaha ho raha hai Shiva’
‘Ruk ice pack latahu’ he was about to get up when Raavi held his hand ‘dil mein dard ho raha haiShiva’ Raavi told him.
‘Dil mein? Are yahabhi hota hai kya? Ruk main doctor ko call lagata hu’ he spoke taking out hisphone.
Raavi snatched thephone and spoke ‘dard ho raha hai Shiva yeh dekhkar ki itne mahino baad bhitujhe logo ki batein tang karti hai’
Shiva now got it, hetried to divert the topic but Raavi held his hands and spoke ‘Shiva aaj baatkar mujhse. Ab or koi waqt nahi ayega.’
‘Raavi aisa lagta haina jaise main tujhe deserve nahi karta. Tu dekh kitni sundar hai kitni shanthai or main….’ he left his sentence incomplete.

‘Shiva ab 2 zindagiaor judne wali hai hamare sath, agar ladki hui toh vo tujhe apna hero manegi.Uski life mein sirf tu hi ek admi hoga jo perfect hoga toh isliye un bacho kahero insecure nahi ho sakta life mein. or agar ladka hua toh vo toh tere jaisahi banna chahega toh kya tu yeh chahta hai ki tere bache insecure bane? Humeunhe own karna hoga Shiva unki buraio ko bhi kyuki vo hamara ansh honge.
Or yeh jo duniyabolti hai ki Raavi ko deserve nahi karta tu, vohi duniya bolegi ki tere siva isRaavi ko koi nahi sambhal sakta tha Shiva. Dekh lio tu

She shudderedthinking about that thought only, she can’t go back to that angry Shiva-Raaviequation. She can’t imagine her life without her Shiva besides her always.
‘I know yeh rishtazabardasti se juda hai, i know yeh bache bhi family ki vajah se karne ki sochithi par agar ab Shiva tune mujhe choda ya khud se alag kia toh main mar jaungi’she broke down. She too had her share of insecurities.
Pata hai Shiva yehbacha maine sirf Suman maa ke liye nahi kia. Maine yeh mere liye kia kyuki tumujhse alag hona chahta tha toh mujhe laga agar ek baby hoga life mein toh tumujhe khud se alag nahi kar payega.’
Shiva was shockedhearing her confess the real reason, he thought only he had his insecuritiesbut here his Raavi was broken thinking about her insecurities. He moved closerand hugged her, they both cried in each other’s arms as if promising each otherthat this was their last time to cry and insecure.
‘Tu pagal hai kya?Main tujhe nahi chodne vala Raavi kabhi bhi nahi. Babies ho jayenge tab bhi tumeri priority rahegi kyuki life partner toh tu hai na meri. Mujhe pata hota kitu genuinely is rishte ko chance dena chahti hai toh main khud se dur karne kibaat karta hi nahi, mujhe laga tu mujhe majburi mein accept kar rahi hai,compromise kar rahi hai jo main nahi dekh sakta tha.
Par thank you Raavibabies ka decision lene ke liye kyuki agar tu yeh decision na leti toh shayadmain tujhe apni bewakufio mein dur kar deta par ab nahi. Sahi kaha tune ab waqtaa gaya hai in insecurities ko khatam karne ka.

Raavi pecked his lipsand spoke ‘kabhi nahi’ and again hugged him.
‘Vaise Shiva tu kyachahta hai beta ya beti?’ Raavi asked when they both were fine.
‘Dono beti chahiyemujhe toh. Meri koi behen bhi nahi thi toh main chahta hu 2 betia. Tujhe toh ekbeta chahiye hoga na? Taki teri team mein rahe’ Shiva asked after replying toher question.
‘Kayde se ek beta tohhona chahiye par main bhi chahti hu ki dono beti ho taki main unhe unke papa kesath jeeta hua dekh saku. Shiva tu janta hai ki mere mumma papa kitne chotehote chale gaye the toh vo feeling na kabhi aayi hi nahi. Par jab bhi tujhedekhti hu na toh man karta hai ki betiyan ho or unhi mein main apna bachpan bhipura jee lu. Pata lage ki kaisa hota hai baap beti ka pyar, main janti hu tusabse best father banega’ raavi told him happily still lying in his arms.
Shiva was emotionalhearing that he held her tightly and placed a kiss on her forehead.

It was one month awayfrom the delivery of Raavi. Dhara gave birth to a baby boy making everyoneextremely happy.
Raavi was doing finebut she needed her Shiva as and when needed, except Shiva no one knew thisthing.
‘Shiva dusre sheherjana hai. Nahi gaye toh lakho ka nuksan ho jaega’ gautam told him.
Shiva didn’t mindgoing but he knew till then Raavi would panic so he spoke ‘mujhe jane meindikat nahi hai Gaumbi lekin Raavi. Use agar main nahi dikha raat mein toh vobahut tang ho jayegi’
‘Are sirf ek raat kibaat hai phir early morning toh tu aa hi jaega. Hum dhyan rakh lenge Raavi katension mat le.’ Gautam spoke.
‘Gaumbi aap samajhnahi rahe ho vo nahi reh paegi. Par yeh kam bhi zaruri hai.’ Shiva spokethinking about the situation.
‘Tension mat le Shivahum sab dhyan rakhenge uska. Tu toh janta hai tere alava vo kaam koi nahi karpaega varna main Dev ko bhej deta’ Gautam reasoned.
‘Ji. Chalo main abhinikalta hu or adhi raat tak aa hi jaunga’ Shiva spoke. Gautam nodded.
Shiva called Raavi onthe phone, and Raavi picked up the phone. ‘Ha bache mujhe zara kam se baharjana hai main subah tak aa jaunga’ he spoke, he knew she would not be happyabout it and as expected she started whining ‘kaha ja raha hai? Or kyu?’
‘Beta bahut zarurikaam hai agar koi aur ja pata toh chala jata.’ Shiva tried to make herunderstand.
‘Thik hai’ she spokehalf heartedly.
‘Dhyan rakhio pleaseapna. Or kisi ko zada mat tang kario bas kuch ghanto ki baat hai’ he told her.
She hummed anddisconnected the call.
As it dawned Krishand Rishita were after Raavi, Shiva instructed them to be with her and diverther mind. So, to do that they started watching a movie. They watched a moviewith a pet to avoid any sad scenes and it had a happy ending. Raavi startedcrying because of the pet.
Krish tried to pacifyher but all in vain so he brought some ice cream for her which Shiva asked tokeep in the fridge beforehand but that didn’t help.
Gaumbi too came tohelp Krish and Rishita but nothing worked as Raavi was feeling very uneasy, shewas in a cranky mood. She behaved like a kid crying and not telling the reason.
‘Raavi dard ho rahahai kahi?’ Dhara spoke as she entered.
Raavi spoke to her‘Shiva ko bula do na. Vo kab ayega? Usne kaha tha jaldi ayega’
‘Ha Raavi usko callkia tha thoda time lagega’ Dhara tried to calm her down but she was gettingworse as the clock ticked.
‘Yaar yeh Shiva kaisesambhalta hai ise. Himat hai uski’ Krish mumbled and soon got a deathly glarefrom Dhara and Gaumbi.
Gaumi whispered toDhara ‘Shiva ne kaha bhi tha ki Raavi tang hogi par mujhe laga overprotectiveho raha hai toh maine kaha ki dhyan rakh lenge par yeh toh sach mein bahut tangho rahi hai’
‘Koi baat nahiGaumbi. Pain ho raha hoga shayad ya ghutan ho rahi hogi’ Dhara spoke.
They tried to put herto bed, but nothing worked. She just wanted to see her Shiva.
Everyone was shockedto see this spoiled side of Raavi, they all thought that she was the saint ofall but today their belief was broken.
They were exhaustedtaking care of Raavi and appreciated Shiva for taking good care of her.
Because they neversaw Raavi like this, maybe she only showed this side to Shiva.
She started crushingthe bed sheets and started throwing the things kept on the side table.
‘Raavi shant hojatabiyat kharab ho jaegi’ Dhara spoke worriedly.
‘Shiva’ she screamedhis name.
‘Ha beta aa gaya’they heard him and were shocked to hear Beta.
He entered and sat byher side wrapping his arm around her shoulder.
Raavi literallystopped crying and kept quiet, she just snuggled into his warmth and inhaledhis shirt, his smell which soothed her.
Everyone was shockedto see them, Shiva literally tamed her.
She again startedsobbing ‘kaha gaya tha mujhe chod ke?’
‘Sorry mere bache. Aagaya ab bas shant hoja. Khana khaya?’ He asked as if talking to a baby.
‘Ha Krish Rishita nekhilaya tha’ she spoke.
‘Good’ he spoke,still caressing her hair.
‘Bhai yeh aafat kaisesambhalta hai tu?’ Krish chuckled.
Shiva gave him adeathly glare and Krish spoke ‘mazak tha bhai.’
‘Par seriously Shivaaaj samajh aya ki Somnath ne tumhari shadi kyu karvai kyuki tujhse better isekoi nahi sambhal sakta. Raavi totally deserves you. Khush raho’ Dhara spoke.
Raavi smiled andsnuggled more into his warmth.
‘Sorry bhai mujhenahi pata tha Raavi itna tang hogi’ Gaumbi spoke.
‘Koi baat nahi ab aagaya hu na main or kaam bhi ho gaya.’ Shiva spoke not leaving her.
‘Khana khaya tune?’Raavi spoke, finally breaking the hug.
‘Khaya hai’ he lied.
‘Jhuth bol raha haina? Main leke ati hu’ she spoke.
‘Tumhe kaise patajhuth bol raha hai?’ Rishita asked.
‘Janti hu main ise,isne sab kaam jaldi kia hoga aur phir bina khana khaye vaha se nikal gayahoga.’ Raavi told him trying to get up only to be stopped by Shiva.
‘Acha meri maa mainlata hu khud tu baithi reh’ Shiva spoke.‘
Rishita spoke ‘donobaitho main lati hu khana tumhare liye Shiva’ Both nodded.
She brought food andRaavi fed him food.
And then Raavi thinkswhat she gives in this relationship, she never fails to take care of him.Never.
Everyone leaves thecouple alone, giving them privacy.
‘Itna kyu roi tu?’ Healmost scolds her.
‘Toh? Aise kon jatahai chod ke apni wife ko?’ She spoke sniffling.
‘Kaam tha na.’ Hespoke, caressing her head. She just hummed and hugged him tightly.

Days went by and asthe day of delivery was nearing everyone got more cautious. Shiva took extracare of her.
He used to take herfor walks in the parks to keep her and baby healthy.
Finally the dayarrived when Raavi felt extreme pain and she was taken to hospital.
After hours ofpushing and bearing the pain finally the babies arrived.
‘Mubarak ho betia huihai dono’ doctor broke the news to Shiva and family.
Everyone was veryvery happy. After so many boys, daughters were born in Pandya Niwas, Shiva wason cloud nine. He hugged his mom, bhabhi bhai and cried happy tears.
Shiva went to Raaviwho was exhausted but happy.
‘I love you Raavi. Ilove you’ he spoke as he entered.
Raavi’s tiredness washalf hearing that confession, they knew they loved each other but neverconfessed it but today was the luckiest day.
‘I love you too Shiva.Or thankyou yeh paria dene ke liye.’ Raavi spoke as he kissed her forehead.
‘Thanks to youRaavi.’ He said. Doctor brought the babies and both held one.
They named the elderone ‘Shivi’
‘Kya nam socha chotika?’ Raavi asked.
‘Raashi’ Shiva spoke,kissing the babies ever so lightly.
They both had happytears flowing down their eyes.
Soon the familymembers too came and congratulated the couple.
Prafulla wasemotional to see her baby giving birth to babies.
Everyone was happy atthat moment.

Bonus chapter/ Epilogue
Seven years havepassed taking care of the two bundles of joys for Shiva and Raavi.
And for Pandya Niwas:it was never quite now. After the birth of Shivi and Raashi, Rishita and Devtoo planned a baby and soon were blessed with a baby boy. After three yearsDhara too delivered a baby girl making an addition to Shivi and Raashi gang..
Shivi and Raashiwould fight a lot, like a lot but no one can dare to hurt Raashi because thenShivi won’t spare her or him.
Shivi was a totalcopy of Shiva and was always in team Raavi, protecting her from lizards andsome irritating people. Whereas Raashi was a total replica of Raavi who wasalways in her strong Papa’s team who saved her from every danger.
Morning time inPandya Niwas was not less than a sabzi market, all the mothers would be runningbehind their children.
Raavi would preparefood for kids while Shiva’s duty was to get the girls dressed and make theirtwo braids.
(My father used to dothis till I was in 10th standard)
‘Aaj tum dono ladainahi karogi, aayi samajh?’ Shiva spoke to both the girls.
‘MAin toh nahi kartipapa yehi karti hai. Or isko kaho ki mujhe didi bole badi hu main’ Shivi spokein a rude tone.
‘Acha ji? Sirf 5minute badi hai. Kyu bolu di? Huh. papa aap toh meri side ho na?’ Raashi said,flashing her cute smile.
‘Nautanki’ Shivamumbled to himself. ‘Main dono ki side hu. Dono meri princesses hai’ Shivaspoke finally done with the braids.
He bent down andasked them to kiss his cheeks, both kissed his cheeks and he pecked theircheeks.
Shivi was a totalgundi but with her dad she was his lil angel and that part was only reservedfor her dad and no one else. Both the girls respected their parents like theydid their parents.
‘Jao dekho Samarbhaiya ready hue ke nahi? Or Gaura ko bhi dekh kar ao’ Shiva spoke to Raashi.
‘Shivi tu ruk’ Shivaspoke and she stopped there. ‘Tujhe pata hai na Raashi kaisi hai? Uska dhyanrakhne ka farz kiska hai?’ Shiva asked.
‘Don’t worry papa mainhamesha meri behen ka dhyan rakhungi.’ Shivi spoke.
‘Aaj tumhare 3rdstandard ka first day hai dhyan rakhna uska. Koi bhi use tang na kare.’ Shivaspoke.
‘Muh na tod du mainuska jo use tang karega? Huh’ Shivi spoke, showing him her small tiny fist.
‘Nahi muh nahi todnabas dhyan rakhna hai’ Shiva told her and she hugged him, he kissed her cheeks.
He then went toRaashi ‘Raashi Shivi ka dhyan rakhio ki vo khana time se khaye. Or uske sathrahio. Hai na?’
‘Reh toh lu papa parvo mujhpe rob jamati hai’ she spoke, making a pout.
Shiva chuckled and hespoke ‘Koi bat nahi. Badi hai na vo. Chalta hai. Hamesha yaad rakhiyo Raashi kiShivi hi hogi jo hamesha teri help karegi or kabhi tujhe akela nahi chodegi,uske badle vo thoda rob jamati hai toh koi baat nahi. Baki kabhi kabhi toh tubhi usko dantti hai toh hisab barabar’
Raashi gave him asheepish smile, yes she also scolds her but noone notices that because Shivinever gives any justification. And Shiva knowing both the girls know this thingtoo about both. ‘Acha thik hai, par aap kisi ko bataoge nahi ki main bhi usedantti hu’ she showed him her eyes.
Shiva chuckled andkissed her chubby cheeks promising her.
Raavi saw this wholescene and came to him ‘Kaise kar leta hai Shiva tu yeh sab? Dono betiyo ko itnasamjhana. Itne saalon mein maine unpe hath uthaya hai par tune kabhi nahi?Kaise?’
‘Lakshmia hai vo meriRaavi, unpar main kabhi hath nahi utha sakta. Or tere sath rehne ke baad itnatoh pata laga ki communicate karne se bahut help milti hai isliye main unkogussa karne ki jagah unhe pyar se samjhata hu. Or work karta bhi hai vo’ Shivaspoke.
Raavi held him andkissed his cheek tightly ‘Itna cute kaise hai tu?’
Shiva’s eyes widenedas they were standing in the angan. Raashi and Shivi giggled and said ‘Humnekuch nahi dekha’
Both blushed andeveryone else laughed. All kissed and hugged their parents and left for theschool. Bus arrived at their doorstep and picked them for school.
Raavi was working athome and Shiva went to the store.

Kids came back homeand Raashi straight away went to the store in search of her dad and Shivi wentto Raavi.
‘Mumma’ Shivisquealed, hugging her mom.
‘Aa gaya mera bacha?Kaisa tha pehla din?’ Raavi spoke, lifting her in her arms. ‘Or rashi? Papa pasgayi hai?’ she asked.
‘Ha. aaj toh jayegihi vo.’ Raashi replied.
‘Kyu? Aaj kya hua?’Raavi asked suspiciously.
‘Aaj na kuch new boysaaye the hamari class mein toh unhone Raashi se friendship karne ko bola tohRaashi ne mana kar dia phir unhone Raashi ko dhaka mara or vo gir gayi.’ Shivitold her animatedly.
Raavi was worried andangry ‘Aise kaise mar dia? Main complaint karungi.’
‘Are maa zarurat nahihai. Maine bhi dhaka mara unhe or puri class unpe hasi.’ Shivi told proudly.
‘Vaise toh tu bahutladti hai Raashi se or koi or use pareshan kare toh tujhe gussa ata hai’ Raavisaid knowing her answer already.
‘Ha toh? Aise kaisekoi meri behen ko mar dega? Muh nahi tod dungi main? Meri toh behen hai mainkarungi tang agar kisi or ne use tang kia na toh main..’ she spoke angrily.
‘Acha bas. Mar dia nadhaka? Or ek baat bata tujhe teacher ko bolna chahiye tha na? Aise kyu mara?Galat baat’ Raavi tried to teach her.
‘Kyu? Agar vo meribehen ko marenge toh main khud khabar lungi’ She spoke.
‘Ha Shiva ki beti johai’ Raavi mumbled to herself. Though She was happy that Shivi took good careof Raashi, in them Raavi could see hers and Shiva’s childhood.
On the other handRaashi reached her father and climbed his lap and hugged him tightly.
‘Aa gayi meri pyarisi bachi? Kaisa tha din?’ Shiva asked and heard her sobs.
‘Kya hua Raashi? Rokyu rahi hai? Shivi se ladai hui?’ Shiva asked.
‘Nahi nahi papa.Shivi ne toh mujhe bachaya aaj’ and then Raashi narrated the whole scenario tohim.
Shiva was hell angrybut at peace that Shivi took a stand for her sister.
‘Vaise itni buri nahihai Shivi’ Raashi spoke, hugging him.
Shiva chuckled.‘Khana khaya tum dono ne?’
‘Ha. vo toh mana karrahi thi par maine kaha papa ko bata dungi toh usne bhi kha lia’ Raashi toldhim while giggling.
‘Badmash bacha haimera. Kahi lagi toh nahi?’ Shiva spoke.
‘Ha yaha lagi.’Raashi spoke, showing her elbow to him.
Shiva kissed her elbowand said ‘Ab thik hai?’ to which she replied ‘Ha’
Raashi then went toher Gautam bade papa and Dev bade papa and then to her Krish chachu. It was herroutine to first fill Shiva with all the happenings and then meet everyone.
Shiva reached home atnight and helped Raavi tuck the kids in bed and reached their room.
‘Raavi.’ he calledout.
‘Ha bol Shiva’ Raavireplied, setting the bed.
