Part 1
It’s been a week since that incidentwhen Suman tried to end her life. Everyone was scared, Dhara tried her best toconceive by taking Doctors help but they told them that chances of naturalpregnancy is very less and treatment will take lakhs to take place which theyjust can’t afford.
Suman was upset hearing this news anddue to stress she was getting thinner and her health was worsening.
Suman was talking to Gaumbi about the samewhen Shiva and Raavi heard it.
They heard that Gaura will not be ableto conceive and Rishita was just not ready for the same.
Noone told Shiva and Raavi consideringtheir situation but Shiva couldn’t see her mother like this.
Raavi on the other hand was tired ofthe insecurity that Shiva would leave her some day, she didn’t love him but shewas not a person who breaks relationships and moreover she herself wanted tomove forward with Shiva in life. Seeing those typical daily soaps and theneighbors talking she decided to take this step with Shiva. She heard from theladies that a baby brings more security for a woman in the life of husband andshe didn’t mind doing that.
‘Shiva kya soch raha hai?’ Raavi askedwhen they reached the room.
‘Maa ki yeh halat nahi dekhi jati.Dhara bhabhi nahi conceive kar paengi pata nahi kya karu’ Shiva spoke.
‘Hum log try kar sakte hai Shiva’ Raavispoke hesitantly.
‘Raavi agar ek baar baby ho gaya phirtu is rishte se nahi nikal paegi, zindagi bhar ke liye mere sath fas jayegi’Shiva spoke calmly.
‘Vo tujhe lagta hai Shiva, lekin mainnikalna hi nahi chahti Shiva yaha se.’ Raavi told him.
‘Tu yeh sab maa ke liye kar rahi hai?’Shiva asked.
‘Jhuth nahi bolungi Shiva, sirf maa keliye nahi. Apne liye bhi’ Raavi told him.
‘Matlab?’ Shiva asked.
‘Matlab bas yahi hai Shiva ki main isrishte se nahi jana chahti, agar tujhe thik lagta hai toh hume try karnachahiye’ Raavi told him.
‘Mujhe thik nahi lag raha Raavi’ Shivatold her.
‘Shiva tera gussa maa ki tabiyat seupar hai kya?’ She asked genuinely.
‘Nahi’ he said.
‘Toh bas phir Shiva. Or vaise bhinormally yahi hota hai arrange marriages mein Shiva’ raavi told him.
Shiva nodded and said ‘abhi main soraha hu’ and he slept, Raavi gave him his time.

He needed time to think, on one side hedidn’t want her to compromise and on the other hand his mother was ill. Nextwhole day he thought about it and decided to take this step.
To make her comfortable he decoratedthe room with roses, Raavi came inside and was in awe to see the room alldecked up. She looked up at Shiva standing near the bed nervously.
‘I know pyar vali feelings nahi hai parphir bhi main forced nahi chahta tha yeh tere liye’ Shiva spoke.
Raavi was happy, she never saw thisside of him and seeing this one gesture she craved for more from him. If aloveless thing can make him do so much then what will he do if he will actuallylove her. Love. What? Seriously? Will love ever blossom between them?
‘Ready hai tu?’ Shiva’s voice broughther out of her trance. She nodded in a Yes.
Shiva came forward and made her sit onthe bed and started placing kisses on her neck. This aroused her and she heldhim close to her. Shiva placed his lips on her sharing their first kiss, bothenjoyed the physical intimacy they shared.
Soon the couple united. Shiva was verygentle with her yet he satisfied her. Raavi was on cloud nine, she never feltso satisfied and complete. The feeling was very different, she always heardabout it but never experienced it but today she did and she was glad she did.
From that night onwards Shiva and Raavihad established a physical relationship between them. Most of the time Shivawas very frustrated with work and Raavi would bear his wrath and when Raavi waslow Shiva would satisfy her.
A month had passed when Dhara waspuking, everyone thought that she had food poisoning but were happily surprisedto know that she was pregnant. Everyone was really happy, especially Suman butShiva and Raavi just looked at each other. They didn’t know what to do now,surely going back was not an option.
Few days passed and everyone took careof Dhara, every person was in her service including Shivi.
Raavi was doing her work when she feltreally tired. For a few days she felt really tired but she ignored it asnowadays most of the burden was on her.
Raavi came to her room and slumped onbed, Shiva who saw this was concerned ‘Raavi? Kya hua? Tabiyat thik hai?’
Raavi replied in her sleep ‘ hmm’
Shiva saw her sleeping so he got up andtucked her properly in bed, he caressed her hair. He noticed how she wasworking all the time as Dhara bhabhi was advised bed rest because of somecomplications. He bent down and placed a kiss on her forehead and switched offthe light.
Raavi got up early, she felt tired butignored it and started doing her chores. Shiva too came into the kitchen. ‘Kuchchahiye Shiva?’
‘Help karne aya hu teri, jaldi kar phirdukan jana hai mujhe.’ Shiva spoke.
Raavi spoke ‘zarurat nahi hai Shiva tuja main karti hu’
Shuva didn’t listen to her and helpedher. Raavi was a bit weak to argue so she let him help her.
She never saw this side of him , he washelping her in the kitchen. She never imagined that but she surely loved this.
Raavi served food to everyone andpoured some Poha on her plate with lots of pickles to go with it. Noone noticedthis except Shiva who always had his eyes on her knowingly or unknowingly.
‘Ae gadhedi. Pagal hai kya? Itna achaarvo bhi pohe ke sath?’ Shiva asked
Raavi said a bit irritated ‘ab khanepar nazar rakhega kya Shiva? Had hai.’ She left the plate there only, took herpickle and left, shocking Shiva to hell.
He was concerned for her and she gotirritated.
Raavi entered the room and startedeating her pickle like a kid. Soon she felt bad for almost shouting at him, shegot up to go to him but saw the door opening and he entered.
She spoke before he could be angry ‘Sorry Shiva pata nahi kya ho gaya tha mujhe’
Shiva who knew she was mentally tiredspoke ‘koi baat nahi. Le khana khatam kar’
Raavi saw the poha and spoke ‘man nahihai mera bilkul. Aisa lag raha hai khaya toh vomit ho jayegi. Leja ise please’
Shiva was now confused a few momentsback she was eating her food and now? ‘Kuch toh khale’ Shiva spoke.
‘Tu ja shop par, main kha lungi pakka’Raavi spoke.
Shiva patted her cheeks and left. Ohman how she loved his care towards her, she got up to go in the kitchen.
She and Rishita were doing somecleaning when Raavi felt weak and she was about to fall down but Rishita heldher. She called Krish for help and they took her to the room.
Rishita called Shiva and told him thatRaavi fell unconscious. Noone knew about their progressing relationship so noone had a single ounce of idea of what happened to her. All thought that shewas tired.
Shiva came hurriedly and saw her stillunconscious ‘Raavi’ he called out for her but no reply.
‘Isne kuch khaya tha?’ Shiva inquired.
‘Mere samne toh nahi’ Rishita told.
‘Yeh ladki bhi na. Sara waqt kam kartihai or aaj toh khana bhi nahi khaya.’ He muttered to himself angrily.
He splashed some water on her and shegained consciousness.
Raavi got her consciousness back, shesaw everyone’s worried faces and the most worried was Shiva. She gave asheepish smile to him.
‘Khana khaya tha Raavi?’ He asked witha fake smile with clenched teeth.
Raavi shook her head in a No andmouthed a Yes. Shiva controlled his anger in front of everyone.
Krish came with the doctor Raavi sawthis and spoke ‘thik hu main. Dekho uth pa rahi…’ she tried to get up but fellback.
‘Raavi’ Shiva gave her a deathly glareand spoke ‘chup chap leti reh. Doctor ko dekhne de.’
She made a puppy face and was about tospeak but he signalled her not to.
Doctor checked Raavi and said ‘mujhekuch tests karne hai. Toh aap inhe mere clinic le aiye’
Shiva nodded and she left.
As she left Raavi spoke ‘Shiva thik humain. Faltu mein hype kar dete hai yeh log’
Shiva by now knew that she was a kid atheart and also a stubborn girl which can be handled by him only. He kept quietand helped her in getting up.
‘Shiva main sach keh rahi hu main thikhu’ one glare from him and she spoke ‘lekin doctor ko dikhane mein kya harzhai. Dikha dete hai’ she spoke like a baby who knew she could get a scoldingfrom him.
Krish chuckled, seeing them he was wellaware of his brother’s wrath. He had called the car and accompanied the coupleto the hospital.
They reached the clinic and waited forthe reports to come till then they went to the small cafeteria nearby as Raaviwas now hungry.
She ordered some junk food and Shivabought some for her in hope that she will at least have something.
Finally the doctor called the coupleinside and said ‘Mrs. Raavi aapko is month periods aye the?’
Raavi thought about it and said ‘yaadnahi doctor shayad miss hue hai’
Before the doctor could speak, Shivaspoke ‘seriously? Yeh bhi yaad nahi tujhe? Had hai Raavi’
‘Toh tu yad kar leta’ Raavi too spokeannoyedly.
‘Aap pregnant ho’ the doctor announcedseeing them bicker.
‘Nahi vo toh thik hai doctor par kisiko itna careless bhi nahi hona chahiye’ Shiva spoke. Soon what the doctor saiddawned on him ‘kya kaha apne?’
Raavi was pleasantly surprised.
‘Ji. Aap parents banne wale hai’ doctorspoke again.
Shiva’s eyes got moistened. He huggedRaavi and spoke ‘raavi hum.. hum’ he couldn’t complete his sentence.
Raavi too had tears in her eyes she toohugged him and nodded ‘ha shiva hum mumma papa banne vale hai’
He kissed her forehead and thingsstarted making sense to him now.
‘Toh matlab vo thakan vo mood swingsisliye?’ He asked
Doctor replied ‘ha Mr. Shiva isiliye.Aapko ab bahut dhyan rakhna hoga. Try and 9 months tak don’t get physical. Agarho toh be extra careful’
Shiva and Raavi blushed hearing that.Doctor then informed them of some other things before leaving them.
They came out and told Krish who wasextremely happy for them ‘main do do bacho ka chacha banunga’ he squealed inhappiness and congratulated them.
Shiva very carefully took Raavi home,he was extra careful for her and Raavi felt so emotional seeing this much careof Shiva, she had craved for this care for a very long time now. Their baby wasdefinitely very lucky for her to be precise.
Raavi took Shiva’s support and theywalked inside, everyone stood there with worried faces.
Suman asked ‘thik hai Raavi beta? Kyahua tha?’
Shiva made Raavi sit and then went toSuman and knelt down in front of her ‘maa hum maa baap banne wale hai’ he saidwith tears in his eyes.
Suman was very happy in fact everyonewas happy and shocked a bit, suman hugged him tightly and then went to Raavi tocongratulate her.
Krish spoke ‘main sabko batata hu kihamari bhabhi pregnant hai’
Suman stopped him ‘nahi Krish. Mainnahi chahti kisi ki bhi nazar lage meri bahuo ko kuch time baad bata denge.
Everyone congratulated the couple andtook Raavi to the room.
Dhara and Rishita sat with Raavi, Dharaasked ‘Raavi yeh sab kb hua?’
‘Vo di maa ki tabiyat dekhkar maine orShiva ne decide kia tha lekin phir aap pregnant ho gaye toh hum bhul gaye theis bare mein. Bas phir symptoms dikhne lage or bas’ Raavi told her.
Dhara was emotional ‘mere bache itnebade ho gaye. Khush raho bas’
Rishita spoke ‘main puri koshishkarungi aap dono ka dhyan rakhne ki’
Dhara and Raavi smiled, their momentwas broken when they felt the room door open and saw Shiva standing there witha plate full of fruits.
‘Bhabhi, Raavi jaldi khatam kardo ise’Shiva ordered.
Dhara nodded but Raavi being the dramaqueen denied ‘mujhe nahi khana Shiva’ she spoke like a kid.
Shiva spoke ‘shift ho thoda’ and sheshifted a bit making space for Shiva. Shiva took the fruits and fed her.
‘Shiva’ she whined.
‘Chup. Or doctor ne sab masaledar khanako mana kiya hai abse sirf ghar ka khana’ Shiva spoke.
‘Torturous kyu bana raha hai tu issituation ko’ she pouted.
‘Acha thik hai muh mat bana. Kabhikabhi khilaunga’ he spoke as if talking to a baby. And she happily nodded, hekept feeding her.
Dhara witnessed all this with moistenedeyes and sent a silent prayer for the couple.
