When I started watching the show I was extremely skeptical. I did not like or dislike any of the characters, so ai did not have any particular incentive to stay. But the story just pulled me in.

The show was refreshing because there was no major negative drama, but the drama they showed was positive and engaging. I don't know why the makers feel that kind of drama cannot grab TRPs. Maybe the channel is interfering 😕

Personal opinion: The Birdapp bachhas also are not helping the matter. All the fanwars and the push for more romantic scenes. We end up getting token romantic scenes which stick out like a sore thimb 😑

Well, we are in this year 2021- many women- most who have gone through 4to5 year college/ professional degree to have children after 30.

My mom was a working woman- I am her first child- She was 30 when I was born.

I had my first child at 30, second at 32.

it is NORMAL.

30 is not old.

I know so many of my classmates who had child mid 30s . it is wayyyyyyyy normal.

Now coming to GauRa.

Have they had a check up done post stopping pills? No.

Are they confirmed - confirmed they won't be able to have a biological child? No.

Can ITV for a change address this issue that 30 is NOT old. it is not all over. One does not need to get a surrogate, one definitely does not need to remarry (disgusting-est option).

The couple has a CHOICE- to have kids or not.

IVF is common than you think.

B. If surrogacy:

Why Raavi or Rishita? or even Anita?

Why can't they have option to have their own child first?

Why this emotional pressure on any of the young ones????

( I am appaled at 5% Raavi choice- W.H.Y.???what is the reason or logic?)

doesn't GauRa consider Raavi as their bachcha as well, How criminal it will be to put her through this?

Why it is assumed that Dhara has a problem?

The problem could be with a man as well.

if IF: Gautam has Problem: will Audience be ok for Dharaa to carry Shiva or Dev's child? Male donor? in the family?

Completely completely agree with you, especially the age point you brought up. My mom had me when she was 30 and my sister when she was 37, and both of us were born healthy (knock on wood).

what I don’t understand is why dhara didn’t consult her doctor about going off the pills, I was on them for almost two years and had to consult my doctor before discontinuing my course - I’d imagine after 10 years of taking them, the safest option is to clear with your doctor 😕

I also posted this in the poll thread- ITV has a terrible track record for surrogacy. Of the tracks I have seen- they use it for introducing a third angle between a couple- with the husband falling for the surrogate and leaving the wife, or surrogate falls for the husband and causes a separation between husband and wife(maybe with a leap)

If anyone has seen a sensitive surrogacy track on ITV, please do correct me. I would love to be pleasantly surprised.

I would want PS to STAY AWAY from surrogacy track. But if they really want to torture us, I think Raavi might be the least contentious option- Gaumbi/Raavi would never fall in love with each other. If Raavi does a UTurn and want to keep the baby, atleast the baby will be in Pandya House

As you can see how the track can proceed- I hope they don't go down surrogacy path- Either Dhara should have a difficult pregnancy or they should go for adoption.

Dhara can get egg donor & carry child herself.

Or If problem is with carrying: get unknown- unrelated surrogate .

Raavi was mislead by Dev, is married to Shiva who is already upset about that, and now makers want to push the father figure brother!? Sick.

Shiva-Raavi’s personal equation will forever go for toss.

If they even hint that: Almost feels like Dharaa misused Raavi’s trust & innocence to bring her in the family to later use Raavi for her own selfish purpose.

IIRC surrogacy tracks used to be shown in Kekta dramas for TRPs. Don't ask why these were appealing. But after seeing so many such tracks- I am kind of traumatized. I'd take any other solution

I can’t believe we are even discussing this based on a click bait fake article.

As spdp said, Raavi should be the last person in anybody’s mind as she is just 21, still a virgin and it would be criminal to even ask her fo this,

I am also confident Rishita will outright deny the request and that’s how it should be.

As for Dhara, if she is desperate to have a child has 3 options - IVF, surrogacy through a 3rd party or adoption,

My only concern is - If the writers think that they are showing something revolutionary in PS might fall on their face flat because of their track record. Not one track was completed with the satisfaction that it turned out well for the audience except the wedding track which was a complete rip off of the OG.

I hope and pray this is just a click bait/rumor and the CVs have something else up their sleeves for the track.

P.S: I have been saying this in many EDTs that Dhara needs to see a OB/GYN first and discuss the effects of taking pills for 10 long years. This would be a sensible thing to show on ITV.
