If Dhara is able to conceive on her own like Dhanam in the OG that’s the best thing to happen. If physically she is still good, but unabke to conceive, next option would be IVF.
If Dhara is not physically able, then surrogacy or adoption is the way to go. I do not approve of Raavi or Rishita being a surrogate mother, especially Raavi, as she is a virgin and not physically able. You can only be a surrogate mother if you had been pregnant before that disqualifies Rishita as well. I do not think in real world they will even let it happen. But in ITV and in Pandyaland anything can happen which is sad and incorrect😕If at all they are adamant that they will show surrogacy then they have choose a surrogate from outside.

If Dhara is not willing to go through any of this, ITV can show adoption, as there so many children in this world waiting to see a good day with no one to attend to.

As I said in my first post this morning, I seriously doubt that younger actress Simran and Alice will even agree to play pregnant.

The articles have led to all kind of speculations. But I still strongly believe the makers won't take such a huge risk at this stage of the show.its completely unnecessary and can backfire badly if not handled well.and as you said Alice or Simran might not have signed up for this.

I doubt if even shiny would be comfortable sporting a baby bump.in an interview she was asked if she was comfortable playing the role of a mother figure to grown up men and she justified that dhara is 28-29 as she was 18 at the time of marriage.so she is fairly young in the show.i have a feeling even she won't agree to it.

Pixie, in the OG, the actresses who play Dhanam and Meena ( Dhara and Rishita. here) are moms in real life and they did not object to when these tracks were brought up and focused on them. Whereas the actress who currently plays Mullai (Raavi, here) is not even married, very young and hesitant to play pregnant on screen. The makers have understood her predicament, they have cleverly mentioned in dialogues that Mullai wants to wait and help her SIL’s in raising their babies.

The best part in all of this- both babies track happened after KM sort of confessed, Meena started to understand the family dynamics and started to adjust. She still got what she wanted but gotten better at the way she would ask and involve all of them as well. The makers showed growth in each and every character before they took up a heavy track like pregnancy and childbirth.

By bringing Dhara’s pregnancy, creators are making a mistake, that’s all I can say.

This is what should’ve happened in this show too, it makes me think they’ll probably end the show within 200-250 episodes, there’s literally no character progression and everything is so rushed

The og version is So sorted,I love hearing about it from you❤️.

and I feel bad when I realise that the hindi version could show all this to a much wider audience with the amazing starcast they have, but they are not utilising the potential.they have everything.fine actors, a firecracker couple, a strong og script.but somehow still manage to mess up🤕

devta and shivi should have been the main focus post marriage, gaura pregnancy track could easily wait for another 2-3 months.now the story is all over the place.

The original is still running with 664 episodes as of yesterday. Brothers and their wives have been given importance in different tracks and now they are focusing on Kanna (Krish here). He is in big trouble and the family is furious at him.

Pixie, agree! I don’t even know what to say anymore. I go back to the original and watch the old episodes of similar track going on here, The treatment, dialogues and the way they ended the track is totally different from what we see here,

The makers of this version have taken the tracks/concepts from the OG but have given a completely different treatment sometimes leading to a lackluster drama or comedy😕

I am quite miffed at this idea of Raavi- a young recently married after being dumped, still trying to find a way in her marriage, still trying to adjust

How old are Dharaa & Gaumbi? 30? 32?

Well, we are in this year 2021- many women- most who have gone through 4to5 year college/ professional degree to have children after 30.

My mom was a working woman- I am her first child- She was 30 when I was born.

I had my first child at 30, second at 32.

it is NORMAL.

30 is not old.

I know so many of my classmates who had child mid 30s . it is wayyyyyyyy normal.

Now coming to GauRa.

Have they had a check up done post stopping pills? No.

Are they confirmed - confirmed they won't be able to have a biological child? No.

Can ITV for a change address this issue that 30 is NOT old. it is not all over. One does not need to get a surrogate, one definitely does not need to remarry (disgusting-est option).

The couple has a CHOICE- to have kids or not.

IVF is common than you think.

B. If surrogacy:

Why Raavi or Rishita? or even Anita?

Why can't they have option to have their own child first?

Why this emotional pressure on any of the young ones????

( I am appaled at 5% Raavi choice- W.H.Y.???what is the reason or logic?)

doesn't GauRa consider Raavi as their bachcha as well, How criminal it will be to put her through this?

Why it is assumed that Dhara has a problem?

The problem could be with a man as well.

if IF: Gautam has Problem: will Audience be ok for Dharaa to carry Shiva or Dev's child? Male donor? in the family?

C. Adoption- is always an option.
