Now that you have put it all together, we can see how dobiii raavi was so much engrossed in shiva even during the marriage functions.she wanted him to praise her, wanted him to dance with her, even wanted him to sit besides her on the Mandap, Ignoring Devs lost look all this while.they indeed had their own little universe since childhood.thank god raavi didn't marry Dev. Even he had noticed their obsession with each other since childhood!

I think her drastic reaction on Devs rejection was more due to the humilation and embarrassment rather than heartbreak.she even had a dlg where she said to her mausapa

"Main Apne pyar Ka aur mazaak bante hue Nahi dekh Sakti "

I guess if she knew the truth before marriage, she would have handled it much better.a large part of her wanting to marry Dev arose from the belief that Dev loved her.it was more like a reciprocation to his love, care and softness.once she knew that he did not feel for her that way, it was over for her too.

This post is a gem. It is a master piece. Wedding sequence is the best sequence PS has given us. I know many of cherish it even today. Each frame and each scene had something to tell us. I never got bored of watching the entire sequence even though it went on for days. This post just elevates the wedding track to another level. You have put together everything so perfectly. My heart is overwhelmed reading this master piece❤️ Thank you so much!!!

Shivi have been each other's world since childhood. But I have never felt they were in love or had romantic feelings for each other. I guess the attraction and feelings started from Shiva's side only after the Kangan kaand. Until then they shared a very deep bond which got noticed by Dev too. We all have assumed Dev to be very silent, away from all drama but his dialogue about their childhood in the marble scene also makes me wonder why Dev did not do anything before the wedding when he was well aware of Shivi's own little world.

Even during the wedding rituals she was more inclined towards Shiva than Dev. She wanted Shiva's presence and approval in everything. Dev has always been the outsider in Shivi's own little world and had Raavi-Dev got married it would have been a disaster for all the 3 of them.

Coming to Raavi's feelings for Dev, I always feel it is more of her dream to make an entry into Pandya Parivaar that clouded her feelings for Dev. Her dream made her think Dev to be her Prince Charming and with Dev also acting according to her needs which is exactly the opposite of what Shiva did to her, it made it more easy for her. But as I write this am reminded of her dialogue of how she wanted to make Shiva love and respect her. One of her main goals after wedding was to make Shiva love and respect her as a Bhabhi. But I don't see that happening as had Dev-Raavi marriage taken place, these feelings would have become a complicated mess. Dev would not have been the companion Raavi desired and her heart would have gone towards Shiva for sure. Shivi are meant to be each other's world always.
