Keeping aside Akshay's acting (I personally don't have too much problem with that too) I like how the writers are dealing with Devta relationship too. He took a stern stand where it was needed and was soft when required. And she too is behaving in her character, she's right that she's not a gold digger. It is difficult for a person to change her lifestyle all of a sudden and I think she is going through the same difficulty.. it will take time for her to adjust to pandya lifestyle as she's been brought up in a totally different environment being an only child. It's wrong to think that she's just after materialistic things.

She is not materialistic.she is having some genuine problems adjusting to the family.imagine growing up in a bungalow with all the luxuries, and then having to ask your husband's bhabi for the smallest of expenses, using a bathroom that is used by 8 members.it can take a toll on a person.

I personally don't see a problem in rishita accepting gifts from her family once they have accepted the pandyas wholeheartedly.i mean they are well off People, what's wrong if they want to gift a diamond necklace to their daughter?can't gombi or suman maa give Dev a gift?

This song and its meaning!!! A truly underrated AR Rahman song. This always plays in my mind when ever I see Shiva getting drawn towards Raavi. This part of the song is the female version but suits Shiva so well. The english translation doesn't do justice to the song but u can kinda have an idea what it means!!❤️❤️

Rishita waiting for her mom to pick up. Now that everything is settled, the whole insult thing and the initial heat of her anger has passed along woth the storm of yesterday, Rishita has sunken into an ache. Like every child out there, she yearns for her mother, and her mother’s acceptance. She wants to see her mom. The yearning has been displayed nicely. There are layers of her grief. One layer was displayed yesterday, where she talks about how Dev doesn’t respect her fam. He hvent accepted them just like they haven’t accepted him. But in front of her, her fam had tried according to her. She conveniently ignores the venom they have spouted because they r her people n she loves them and she expects Dev to do the same but Dev cannot as he understands the world and her family’s words better than she does.

The next layer of hurt is deeper and more painful. It’s the distance from her mother. She had her within grasp. She couldn’t even hug her and sink in her mother’s embrace. It feels heartbreaking. We tend to gloss over her pain but she is hurt and amidst all that insult kar di and all, there is a girl who had had to leave a world for her love and now she is trying to obtain and balance both of it. She have seen the good side of them most of her life so now it will take time for her to truly understand the evil they can be.

Beautiful Mahi layers of her grief- it will take her a lot of time to understand what's going wrong since she can't see either family as evil

Nivi, I just finished listening to it. It will perfectly suit Raavi as well provided she has realized her love and starts doing the things he did.
Shiva’s staring, stuttering is all over now. Raavi won’t get to see them now. It’s her turn to realize and introspect.
