This is something I absolutely dislike about Raavi.

Shiva should be distant so that she realizes his value. She’s a really crappy and superficial judge of character.

At this point, if they make him do the second, I'll honestly stop watching.

One of the things that I love about Shiva is that he isn't afraid to be himself. He clearly told Dev, mujhe ni dikhaani kisi ko apni sundarta. If they change this, then that's like Shiva the character isn't Shiva anymore.

Same here. A Shiva who changes for the sake of others isn't Shiva anymore. I won't be able to watch such a Shiva either 😕

Yeah it is.. but it was much needed for Shiva to put a stop on his feelings.. he was going super fast

I hope the writers don't mess up this track and he starts distancing from Raavi now

I'll echo what I've said on the EDT, as heartbreaking as the dialogues were, this misunderstanding would make for a terrific track if done appropriately. A track that will establish ShiVi's relationship, where they go from husband-wife to soulmates.

The reason why I believe this?

Well, Shiva's love for Raavi occurred swiftly. He's a man who wears his heart on his sleeve. He can't fake his emotions, whether it be disgust or love. His transparency explains how if you show him love, he will give you double the love. When he had the confirmation that Raavi was willing to stand by his side, he fell. Hard and fast, with no input from his brain. In perfect Shiva style.

But Raavi is very different. Though she is warm, bubbly, and loving, she's been through heartbreak multiple times in her life. Based on her interactions thus far, it's safe to say that Raavi loves to be comfortable. She probably doesn't enjoy change. She forgave Dev easily because they had years of friendship before the wedding drama. She continues to fight with Shiva because that's just what she is used to. But dealing with a loving Shiva? It's a territory she has never treaded in.

Sure she is attracted to Shiva. But it is just that. A physical attraction and nothing more.

So you could probably understand the barriers they will need to cross. He loves her, but she has a physical attraction to him. He was running after her and kept her at the center of his attention, while she was running after Dev and only gave him time when it came to fights.

They lack communication, they have different approaches to their past (Shiva not willing to forget their origins, and Raavi not giving any importance to their childhood), and they have different approaches to their marriage (Raavi clearly staying because of her love for the rest of the family and out of respect of her Mausa-Pa's words). To get stronger, they would need to address all these aspects.

Raavi's diaries will be Shiva's first glimpse into Raavi's true thoughts. Hearing words is one thing, but seeing them immortalized on paper is another emotion altogether. Each word on that paper is a reflection of their history, and for someone who places so much importance on their past, Shiva is bound to break. He'll, for the first time, learn what Raavi wants in a man, and his actions will be a huge indicator of what type of marriage he is seeking.

Does he leave Raavi and divorce her so she can lead a happier life with a Dev-like husband? Or does he change himself, even if he doesn't want to, so he could have a semblance of the "perfect" marriage his parents and GauRa shared?

It's an arc that has the potential for major character growth. The CVs can address issues such as name-calling, manhandling, and lack of communication.

@Bold He shouldn't change himself into someone like Dev is my opinion truth be told . He should be definitely the best version of himself, change his own headspace in such a way that makes him happy, share his pain with Raavi .Hes getting there slowly and steadily . He didn't misbehave with mami when he saw her for the function rather preferred being lovestruck by his wife .

This dard will get out all the vish he has been drinking from childhood . This is such a beautiful and meaningful track if explored correctly . Too much of mush is not Shiva and I had started missing the brunt around edges Aag boy that we all love .

@Bold I love their name calling it has a charm to it .I feel it's endearing , there's emotion in those names they have for each other from macharman , chipkali , bandar , bandariya , Bhootnath etc .All the other issues can definitely be addressed and have to be but all depends on writers . This topic always had potential hope they unfold it nicely .

I hope to see a distant Shiva too, and Raavi staring to introspect on her feelings now

I am commenting on this forum after such a lonngg time.😳 This is one track I have been looking forward to since forever now after all the kaands. It is high time the CVs address the emotional attachment or the lack of it thereof between these two. The promo looks great right now and I sincerely hope they do not make a comedy out of this or I would totally go bonkers! 😵

Shiva being distant and drawing the line between them yet being soft and respectful towards Raavi would be so beautiful to watch. And Raavi needs to realize the enormity of the whole situation. She needs to understand just how important he is for her. She needs this treatment. Again, I hope CVs won't butcher this track!

I'm looking forward to shiva's breakdown too, and the progression of his feelings from this point! It will be painful to watch him face his insecurities though 💔
