Someone spoke in favour of Shiva. I agree Shiva is not completely wrong here.

He just said that and didn't mean it.

But Maami is so wrong here. Her ego is way more bigger than the love she holds for Raavi.

Also Shiva time and again cleared that it was not about Raavi but about her and Maami.

I have pointed this out multiple times in the EDT that maami's fault is the most here, and she was the one who put a price on her daughter. I'm not excusing shiva's mistake, he was also at fault. And what baffles and annoys me is how normally Raavi behaves with maami knowing she is a thief 🤢. She didn't tell her even once to return the Kangans she had stolen. Raavi standing up for herself is great and I applaud her for it, but her not calling out maami is not wrong. Not because she is not supporting Shiva or the Pandyas, but because she is supporting the actions of a thief here.

not only the action of the thieves also how she behaves with Shiva is it justified and why no one could see how mami willingly shows him the kansan and try to provoke him ,she did the same yesterday again why the everyone from the family except Suman tries to turn the blind eye on that and the danda pair was ready to beat him and insult him infront of those people who already hate him even his wife how is she going to respect him and mr Ddev had forgotten every thing what he had done ,he was the one who left Ravi in the mandap ?i think it is right time that Suman have to take the charge of the things .

The thing is simple. Maami is evil - everybody knows that. Letting that evil "put words in your mouth" is the stupidest thing to do.

So Shiva is so stupid to let Maami rule what he wants to stay.

No matter what reasoning people can come up with, what Shiva did and said is wrong. Maami ne galati ko toh isko bhi karni hai? Nothing can justify Shiva using Raavi as a commodity. No reasoning, no justification.

And just why should Raavi ask for those kangans. Hadn't Shiva been saying that Raavi should stay out of this matter? He himself tells her to stay away and then he drags her into this mess. Wow! Such an adbhut person he is.

P.S. I have already discussed this in detail at EDT and I won't be continuing this discusssion here. Just wanted to let you know about my views on this.

Yes, both need to adjust. Shiva's wish to get the kangan back isn't baseless, and Mami's stubbornness is completely wrong.

Don't get me wrong, I am empathetic to Raavi's pain, and I also understand she is trying her best to navigate from this situation.

I am not saying Shiva shouldn't be called out. He was wrong and should be very much called out. And so was Mami. Its unfair of both the audience and Raavi to not call out Mami.

I understand Raavi is hurt and angry, and hence has not thought this through. Which is why I want to watch the further episodes before painting her in a good or bad light.

I am sorry, I am not sure I get your point.

Basically replace kangan with Chappal?

Assuming rest everything plays out the same way, Shiva would still be wrong just like he is wrong now. And Mami would be wrong just like she is wrong now. I hold both of them equally responsible now, I would hold both of them equally responsible then.

Regarding forgiveness, I haven't forgiven Shiva up until now either, nor would I then just like that. It largely depends on whether he repents and brings changes in his behavior. And the criteria would still be same if it were chappals.

I believe Raavi is yet to fully process exactly what happened and is kind of blinded by her love for Mami. So I am waiting to see further episodes, hope she'll eventually understand. But you are absolutely right, its not about supporting Shiva or the Pandya family, its about right and wrong

If raavi is blinded by her love for Mami , Shiva is blinded by his love for dhara and dhara is blinded by Suman...raavi calls mami out but Shiva never does it nor dhara. I won't single out raavi alone , that would make pandya family a big hypocrite (they already are ,aise bhi , but they have a heart..so I ignore them ) .

Secondly , the kangan may have belonged to suman once upon a time but now it's being worn by mami so it's her choice to give it or not. She won't listen to raavi or Anita Bec she is that level selfish. Itna pyar nai karti mami raavi ko 😆 But raavi cares for everyone by nature. So her siding with mami isn't wrong, when Shiva is misbehaving with her . When it comes to respecting elders and ignoring their misdeeds, nobody is better than the rest.Right or wrong becomes irrelevant. Saare bewakoof hain.

If they plan to show the stupid redemption by Shiva buying new kangan for mami, it's a pathetic idea 🤢 He already traded off raavi and now threatened to throw prafulla down 2 storeys . He cud have offered new kangan, mami aise hi old wala de deti😆

I have a completely tangential take on this. I feel this issue could have been taken by Suman instead is Shiva.

Let’s keep all the blame game aside. Suman gave her brother the Kangans, not as a gift, but as a sort of loan to get duplicates made. The situations changed and a whole lot of mess happened in between, so the kangan was mostly forgotten.

Now Shiva has brought it up. And as mentioned in the above posts, Suman also feels for the kangans. Why has it become Shiva’s fight and obsession? Why is Suman even keeping quiet. Maami has time and again pointed out to Shiva that “when you mom has no issue with it, why are you asking?”.

Ok so now let’s go into hypotheticals. If I was in Suman’s place, I would have told Shiva to stand down “I love you for never giving up this, I understand your pain, but these are my Kangans, so I want you to step back and let me deal with this.”

I would have then called Maama and questioned him- “I gave you the Kangans with the understanding that you will give it back to me. It is now your responsibility to return it to me. I give you an hours time to convince Prafulla and return it to me. This issue can be put to rest completely from here on.

If you do not return it to me, I will resort to putting a civil case on you. I can prove the Kangans are mine(*assuming she has some receipts since Darsana had it made for her). We can settle this matter in court. Even if I lose money, I am willing to fight it out, because this is now affecting my son and his married life. You figure out if you really have money to spare for fighting with me in court. Also, if we go the court way, then we cannot have our relation back. This is the end of it. So discuss with your wife and figure out what you want.”

This in my mind would be the best way to resolve the Kangan kaand. Whole Shiva’s feelings and intentions are noble and pure, I simply feel this is not his battle to fight 🤷‍♀️
